OMG I’ve legit been waiting for this book since 2018!!!! I have not been shy about it. I feel like I been harassing Addison Jane & K. E. Osborn when they were releasing another one since I finished Revive. I’m here to say the wait was SOOOOOO worth it. 

Axel is in The Agency and part of team S07. Before he joined The Agency he was known as Riot in the Malice MC. When his childhood best friend Mackenzie aka Kenzie was taken six years ago he joined The Agency in hopes of finding her. It’s been six years since he’s seen her and they’ve finally found her but she has no idea who he or the Malice MC are. 

Four years ago Mackenzie woke up from a terrible accident and had no idea who or where she was. Rix found and saved her. Even though she doesn’t feel 100% sure or safe with Rix, he’s all she knows so she stays. Until Axel show’s up and she feels thing’s that she’s never felt in the four years with Rix. 

Axel call’s her Kenzie and she gets all warm inside. Even though he took her from Rix and has her locked in a small white room. He looks at her like she’s everything to him and Kenzie wishes she could remember what he remembers. 

Kenzie can tell quickly that Axel and his team are different than Rix and his team. She’s quickly realizing she’s been missing for six not four years and that she’s trusted the wrong person and that it could end up hurting or killing a lot of people. Kenzie decides to start trusting and helping Axel and the S07 takedown Rix once and for all. 

The more time Kenzie spends with Axel is more of her memories from their past comeback little by little. 

These two grow closer and closer together everyday. Axel and his team also get closer to figuring out what Rix’s next move is thanks to help from Kenzie. 

Just as they think they’ve gotten a plan to end Rix, things go sideways. They realize that they have a mole in The Agency and they’re all in danger. 

Axel lost Kenzie once and he can’t loose her again. He treats his S07 team. They’ve become his family. He knows with a trader in The Agency he needs to get help from his other family. The Malice MC, who are also Kenzie’s family are here to help Axel, The Agency and S07 takedown Rix, the traitor and save Kenzie. While also trying to stay alive. 

You gotta read this! Since I haven’t seen these guysguy’s since 2018 I went back and read my first three review’s to refresh my memory and when I started reading it everything came back. 

I’m now so excited to get Noah and Molly’s story Bc OMG. Talk about explosion!!! I’m keeping my fingers crossed I have them in my hands ASAP!!

OMG finally!!! I feel like I have been waiting for forever for J. L. Drake to hit publish on her next release for decades. I gotta say after reading the first part of Elio and Sienna’s story the wait was SO worth it. 

Since this is going to be a three part trilogy I really don’t wanna give much away. 

Sienna was living a life of misery. Between starving and the beatings she wanted to give up.  She just hoped her mom returned for her soon. 

While taken a rare breather so found a pond and then found a friend in Elio, the boy next door. 

For year’s they were just friend’s and then they grew into so much more. His parent’s took her in as their own as well. As long as Sienna had Elio in her life she was OK. Until one day him, his parent’s and everything that was them was gone. And, Sienna was left again for the second time in her life. 

It’s been ten year’s since Sienna lost Elio and his parent’s. The only thing she has to prove to her he’s real is the crow necklace he gave her. 

Sienna was alone and on the street’s when she met Wyatt and he took her in and now they’re both journalists.

I read this in less than two days. I couldn’t put it down. This has everything you want in a dark romance read and then so much more. I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger but when I finished it at 4:45 this morning it didn’t stop me from yelling at my kindle in my empty room LOL. I’m dying for the next part of Elio and Sienna’s story!!

Stripping down to just my bra and underwear, I slipped into the water and allowed myself to float, proud that I had finally learned to swim. I splashed in the water, happy for a brief moment. Puffy clouds made their way across the blue sky, and I let myself drift away with them, enjoying the freedom. The smell of the plumeria filled the air, and I pretended it was Mother Nature gracing me with a gift of her perfume.

“I was beginning to think you were avoiding me.” His voice traveled across the water and vibrated through me. I ducked down, careful to keep my body underneath the water, so just my nose was above the surface. “It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen you here.” He peered into the hidey hole where we hid our notes and grinned. “I see you got my notes.”

He was right. I had been avoiding him, but it had come with a cost. His kindnesses and our chats had been so important to me. I realized how much I had missed him. I was lost and felt angry and sad all the time.

He tugged off his t-shirt with one hand and stood in his jeans. I saw the way they hung low on his hips. Elio was two years older than I was, and his body was that of a fighter. Strong, lean, and had that V that Cara always drooled over. Yes, Elio looked spectacular.

“And you’re swimming.” He placed a hand over his heart playfully. “That hurts.”

I couldn’t help but smile at that, even as I swam a little bit farther away from the shore. It was true that I didn’t like people looking at my body, especially because of all the bruises. I was also self-conscious about being so thin, although I had put a little meat on my bones lately. Most of all, I didn’t like the attention I got from the men at the dockyard and the house. It made me feel uncomfortable. I had developed quickly over the past few months, and it was difficult to hide my shape under my clothes.

I treaded water and tried to think of something to say as he dropped his jeans and waded into the water in just his boxers. He dipped under the surface and came up right in front of me.

His dark eyes seemed to be even more intense today, and I felt a jolt when I took a leap and stared into them. It was like someone poured a bucket of warm water over me.

“Sorry,” I whispered, and his eyes softened like he was happy I spoke. “Things have been hard, and I got a little…” I trailed off, unsure how to explain myself.

“Lost?”

“I think to be lost you need to have been found at some point,” I fought back an urge to cry. “I didn’t have a starting point. So…” I shrugged.

“I missed our notes.”

“Me too,” I confessed.

“But I missed you more.” He smiled sweetly. Elio would often be bold with his kindness. I admired that he could say what he wanted without a care.

His eyes flickered as something raced through his mind. I could feel his body language change.

“Do you trust me, Sienna?” I licked my lips and thought about his question. “You know me well enough to know I wouldn’t hurt you, right?”

I nodded because it was true. Elio had never said or done anything to hurt me in any way. In fact, he had cared for me over the years and never asked for anything in return. I felt like he knew me better than anyone else.

“May I take you to show you something?”

Tia Louise continually proves over and over why I automatically read whatever she releases. I didn’t read Twist of Fate but I did read This Much Is True do I knew some of the people. I just didn’t know Spencer and Jocelyn’s interactions going into this book. I wasn’t lost with them or with the other character’s. 

Spencer’s had a hard life. He only sleeps with a woman once and he’s up front about it and isn’t ashamed of it. They don’t call him Mr. Freeze for nothing. But, he can’t get Jocelyn outta his mind so he needs to get his fill of her so he can move on. 

Jocelyn AKA Sly was able to walk away from Spencer the night of her cousin’s wedding Bc she was in a relationship. 

Since walking in on her boyfriend cheating on her she’s done with men. Jocelyn’s taking a year break from men but that doesn’t last long.  After her cousin brings her to look at a potential job and Spencer being who the job’s for they go home together. 

Jocelyn knows how he only sleeps with women once and she knows she could fall for Spencer, she leave’s before he wakes the next morning. 

Jocelyn’s got a lot going on at the moment. Her friend Courtney’s letting her stay with her and her frog loving son Ollie. She’s trying to get her business back to where it was before her now ex-boyfriend made her give up a lot of her clients. And, her and Courtney are trying to get a better and safer apartment Bc Courtney’s estranged husband is back and dangerous. 

Jocelyn’s also working to help her cousin, Spencer and his work partner get their gala set up and ready for the night. 

Spencer was furious whenever he woke up and Jocelyn was gone. Normally he wouldn’t care but Jocelyn’s done something to him. He can’t get her off his mind. 

When he finds out Jocelyn’s friend Courtney’s husband is coming after them he loves them and Ollie into his house with them. When he looks at Ollie he see’s a younger him and even though he’s been named Mr. Freeze, Spencer want’s to protect Ollie. 

These two want each other so bad it’s slowly killing them. Jocelyn won’t sleep with him again Bc she knows he’s got rules and she’s a relationship person. Unless they can get on the same page it’ll never workout for them. 

Spencer’s Mr Freeze and Jocelyn’s as fiery hot as her hair is red. Spencer has been through a lot but Jocelyn’s the perfect woman to understand him and to love and protect him like nobody has ever done in his life. 

I devoured this book and I have Twist of Fate sitting on my Kindle and the next weekend I have open I’m reading it!!

The last few years haven’t been easy for him. His sister Anna was going to marry Zero, Oh President of The Defiance MC. When she cheated on him the night before they’re wedding and it was called off everything changed. Neon was stuck between his baby sister Anna and his brother and club President Zero. 

When Neon meets Nicolette Oakley he was speechless. She sassed him, stole his hotdog and disappeared. Few years later he run’s into her again and he doesn’t plan on letting her run away so fast.

KE Osborn wrote this book beautifully. You never knew what or who was coming next. What was behind what just happened. 

My heart hurt’s for Neon. He’s got Oakley and his relationship with Zero is back to being great. His sister... I don’t think there’s any redemption in her and thing’s will need to happen that he’ll have no control over and even though deep down Neon knows it has to happen but it kills Asher Bc it’s his sister. 

This is a stand-alone but I’d recommend you read the previous book’s so you don’t miss anything. I’m SO ready for the next book!!!!
