✯Review✯His Master by Bink Cummings

Synopsis

Six years ago, I was accepted into an exclusive BDSM commune that caters to the gay elite, and molded into the submissive of every dom's dream. Under the ever watchful eye of Master Croy, my savior, I spend my days fulfilling my masters' every fantasy. It has become my solace. The only place I’ve felt at home. They respect me for who I am. Made me into the man I’ve become…It is my hope that I never have to leave…
Until now…
Because of him.
The master who makes me feel.
The gray haired God who sees me as more than a slick hole and pretty face.
I’ve never felt this way before.
Things are changing.
I’m changing…But I don’t know what it means.
My home is here. I can’t leave.
But what about him? Master Kellan. I think he wants me.
And,
Can I tell you a secret?
I think I want him, too.

Warning: Contains shameless, make your toes curl, sexual M/M content. Adult F'in language. A smidgen of mushy love. Taboo elements including those of consensual BDSM relationships. And whatever else that makes it unsuitable for anyone under the age of 18.

✯4 Dominating Stars!!!

Bink Cummings sure can put a lot of sex in a book! I've read every book she's published so far and loved them all. Normally I'm hooked from page 1. But, it took me half the book to really get into it.

Michael, lives at The House of Red. A commune for highly trained subs. All subs sign the contracts and must do whatever their Masters say, whenever they say. They're treated very well for what they do.

Before Michael found The House of Red, his life was miserable. He did anything to survive and at times he wasn't sure he wanted too.

Master Kellan is his favorite Master out of all he sees. He will do anything for him. It's getting harder for Michael to keep his feelings  for his Master to himself. Not that Master would feel the same about him.

Master Kellan, Cory AKA Judge to his brother is leading a double life. He's got a high profile job. Not to mention his wife and kids. The only time he feels alive is when he's at The House of Red. Specifically when he's with Michael.

Finally Cory decides no matter how hard he tries to stay away from Micael he can't. It just keeps getting harder, so he decides he's not going to anymore. No matter what it costs him. He just hopes that his gut about Michael feeling the same as him are true.

I read this book in pieces. It took me awhile to get into the story and the characters. I was more into it when it was just Michael and Cory. They're really good together and really were in love. They definitely are complete opposites. But, it is why they work lol.

One thing that totally annoyed me was Michael calling Cory Master ALL the time. Once they were together and committed I didn't understand it. If it was only when they were intimate fine. But, all the time it got to me.

Once I got into this book I couldn't put it down. It was great seeing past characters again. This was just as hot and kinky as Bink's previous books. I can't wait for her next book.

Synopsis:

Sound is an abstract concept for most people. We spend our lives blocking out the static in order to focus on what we believe is important. But what if, when the clarity fades into silence, it's the obscure background noise that you would give anything to hold on to? I've always been a fighter. With parents who barely managed to stay out of jail and two little brothers who narrowly avoided foster care, I became skilled at dodging the punches life threw at me. Growing up, I didn’t have anything I could call my own, but from the moment I met Eliza Reynolds, she was always mine. I became utterly addicted to her and the escape from reality we provided each other. Throughout the years, she had boyfriends and I had girlfriends, but there wasn't a single night that I didn’t hear her voice. You see, meeting the love of my life at age thirteen was never part of my plan. However, neither was gradually going deaf at the age of twenty-one. They both happened anyway. Now, I'm on the ropes during the toughest battles of my life. Fighting for my career. Fighting the impending silence. Fighting for her. Every night, just before falling asleep, she sighs as a final conscious breath leaves her. I think that's the sound I'll miss the most.

I was a jaded asshole who fell for a girl with a knack for running away. I couldn’t even walk but I would have spent a lifetime chasing her. ✯Release Review✯Where I End by Michelle Dare

Synopsis

Eve
Pretentious. Arrogant. Condescending. Cruel.
All words I'd used to label him. Exactly what I’d always believed he was. All that changed one spring morning when I realized I didn't know the man behind the facade at all.

Angry. Desperate. Broken. Mine.
All words I'd use to define him after I interfered. Once our eyes locked, I was all in. There was no turning back. He tried to push me away, but I refused to let him go. I was determined to save him. What I didn't expect was that he would save me, too.

Cy
I was so close to ending my misery. Mere seconds away. Then she stumbled upon our argument, and I changed my plans. She wasn't supposed to be there. She knew too much. Even with my entire world burning down around me, she wouldn't walk away.

I’ve always been on my own. No one had ever fought for me before. Why should anyone start now? But she did, no matter how much I tried to stop her. I knew I was nothing, unworthy of her, but she was persistent. Once she got under my skin, I couldn't let her go, because where I end, she begins.

✯5 Strong Stars!!!

Before you start this make sure to block a few hours off. Because you'll be pissed if you have to put it down. This is not a book to read in pieces.

Eve went thru high school miserable and lonely. Her only friend she knew was using her to get to Cy. Cy was Eve's bully. Only he called her Evie. Everyday he made a point to find her and torment her. She didn't know why. Her only reasoning was Cy and his friends were from the rich part town, with the rich families and she wasn't. Her mom was Cy's moms assistant and he reminded her of it daily.

Six years later and Eve is still in town. When her family moved she took over her moms job. His mom works out of her house. She ends up seeing Cy everyday and with another woman on his arm. Eve hates to admit it to herself but it kills her. Eve would give anything for Cy to notice her for more then the poor girl who has no friends.

When Cy's finally hit his rock bottom  and he's done with his fight. Cy decides to confront his mom one last time. Just as Cy's about to throw his hands up and let go something shocking happens to him. His Evie appears outta nowhere. When she gives him her hand he's shocked. But, he takes it and Evie takes him out of his living hell. It's then that he can finally start to breathe and with the girl he's always wanted but couldn't have.

Eve was bullied everyday of her high school. But, that didn't make her a timid little thing. She stuck up for herself and the people she cared about. Once she knew the story of Cy's bullying she was totally OK with it. She's a better woman then I am.

Cy was a broken man. Has been broken for most of his life. But, with the help of his Evie and best friend Parker he learns to live. And, the smiles and laughter he faked all those years, stopped being fake.

This story was filled with SO many emotions.  Michelle did something you don't read or watch often on TV. She didn't give you the broken girl. The one who's been abused  both physically and verbally. No, it was the other way around. She wrote this story in such a way that you'll feel it days after you finish it.

✯Cover Reveal✯Absolution by Missy Johnson

Cover Design: Indie Sage
Release Date: June 28, 2017

Synopsis

Declan James was the perfect guy.  He was sweet. Charming. Caring. Until he wasn’t.
Fourteen years ago, his actions tore apart my family. He ruined my sister’s life and nothing was ever the same again. But now, a decade later, he’s back. When he walks into my office, asking for my help, I’m shocked, but nothing prepares me for what I’m about to learn. I see how far he’s gone to redeem himself and I know that he’s changed. I also know that, as a priest, he’s more off limits than ever. If I help him, my family will never forgive me. If I fall in love with him, I will never forgive myself.

Excerpt

“You’re not the first person to be shocked by my choice of calling.” “Your family?” I guess. He nods. “I’m assuming they probably had bigger and better things in mind for you, but it’s a step up from rapist right?” His eyes widen and I cringe. Shit, I can’t believe I just said that. “I can see why you might think that, but my father is very anti-religion, so I’m not sure he would agree,” he smirks and rubs his chiselled jawline, giving me a pointed look. “Are you done now?” “I’m sorry that was way out of line," I mumble, admitting I went too far. "Sometimes I say things without thinking.” “It’s okay,” He shrugs. His dark eyes penetrate mine. I'm shaking, but I hold his gaze, refusing to look away. “You get a free pass today to say whatever you like to me and then tomorrow you need to start giving me a chance. Is that fair?” I’m not loving the part where I give him a chance, but I have so many questions burning inside of me that I’m dying to ask that I sit forward, and place my hands under my thighs. “Okay I’ll play,” I say, staring at him. I question everything he says because it hurts too much to believe him. Why should he get to move on? “Why this?” “Because it was the only way I could see getting my life back on track. I was at the point where I had nothing to live for, and God changed that for me. He gave me hope. I had something that was mine. I was making a difference.” “How long have you been a Priest for?” I say the word like it’s dirty but only because he’s makes it that way. It’s like he’s taken one of the purest professions in the world and tainted it. “Five years. After I got out of prison, I was in a bad place. Everything that happened with Cecily really messed me up and then hearing that she…. His voice trails off like he can’t complete his train of thought, so I make him, because he doesn’t get to do this. He doesn’t get to make this about him. “You mean how she killed herself?” I say. I stare at him, my anger fuelling the strength I’m somehow finding within myself to confront him. This is what I’ve wanted for so long, to be able to face him and show him how much he hurt me. “How she ended her life after what you did to her and the way your family dragged her through the mud. Is that what you mean? You can’t even say it, Declan. Imagine how hard it was for me to live it.” “I never wanted that all I wanted to do was plead guilty and move on—” “Move on?” I whisper, tears spilling down my cheeks. “Like my sister got to move on? Like my dad moved on by ramming his car into a tree? You ruined our lives. Why should you get to move on?” “I’m sorry about your father,” he says softly. “You’re sorry?” I laugh. I throw my hands up in the air. “Well, so long as you’re sorry.” “You have every right to be angry at me Hannah, but I’m just trying to explain it from my point of view. You asked me why I became a priest. This is why. Everything that happened is why.” “But you don’t get to explain,” I whisper. “Because it’s not fair. All you get to do is sit there and take whatever I decide I need to say to you in order for me to get through this. That’s the only thing you need to do here. You don’t get to justify what you did, or tell me how much you’ve changed, because I don’t care. All I care about is being able to be in the same room as you without feeling like I’m going to be sick. Is that too much to ask?” "No. No it’s not," he mumbles. His eyes cast downward and I laugh. He can’t even look at me.
