✯Release Review✯Get Revenge (Blood Legion MC #4) by Rie Warren

Title: Get Revenge
Series: Blood Legion MC #4
Author: Rie Warren
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: December 16, 2019

He made sure she’d never come looking for him. She vowed to hate him until her dying breath. When they meet again sparks fly, lust ignites . . . danger doubles down.
REVENGE
I’m a bad biker dude with a serious chip on my shoulder. I’m also known for being an ex-con and most likely to be engaged in a spicy threesome with the Doublemint Twins. Everything comes to a screeching halt when a woman I betrayed shows up at Blood Legion MC.
There’s no frickin’ way Arden high and mighty Prioleau belongs anywhere near the Thunder Road Bar. There’s no frigging reason for her to be looking for me. She’s cool, calm, and cultured on the outside, all seething anger and undeniable sexiness on the inside.
Arden is a glorious redhaired vixen with one giant ask—she wants my help to take down a man I’d rather dismember than share a drink with.
ARDEN
Revenge isn’t even his real name, but he doesn’t want anyone else to know who he really is. I guess I can’t blame him. I wish I could change my identity too if only to get away from the maniac destroying my life.
Revenge is the last person on earth I’d ever expect to rely on. He’s my last chance. My final hope. And that isn’t saying all that much considering how we ended.
Now I’m not so sure what I’ve gotten myself into. Revenge is hardened and even hotter than I remembered. He’s a black sheep with a checkered past. A dark horse who’s dirty as sin.
It turns out my knight in shining armor is a leather-clad biker I’ve known most of my life and have spent the past few years hating with a fiery intensity.

✯✯5 Revenge Filled Stars!!!✯✯

I’m so sad that I have to write this review bc then it means the Blood Legion MC Series has come to an end and that hurts. We met them in Storm in Rie’s Bad Boys Of X-Ops and been invested in this series since. Needless to say I’m sad it’s ending.

Revenge has always been a mystery. You don’t know much about him other then he’s always got the guys back. When Grace came to Thunder Road bar pregnant and scared was the first time he got emotional. He’s very protective of Grace and her daughter Haven. Other then that he’s seen coming and going with different women. Lately it’s been the double mint twins and he’s OK with that.

Revenge was in love once. Wanted to marry her but when his father was planning out his life Revenge knew he didn’t want to follow his dads footsteps. Instead he joined a MC club that was bad news. When they started pulling jobs more dangerous after the other he realized he made a mistake. Next thing he realized they wanted his girlfriend.

Revenge would do anything to protect Arden. Revenge made it looked like he was cheating on her. Not only did Arden break up with him but she moved to Europe. Revenge hated himself but would do anything to keep her safe.

Revenge was shocked when Arden showed up at Thunder Road looking for him. She was still beautiful, high class.  But, she’s married to his nemesis, has a daughter and needing help getting her and her daughter away from him.

Arden hates Revenge. She was in love with him and he lied and cheated on her. Her life has gotten that bad that she’s had to go to him to ask her help.

Her husband has gotten in deep with some bad guys. Arden doesn’t know all the details but knows enough to know her and her daughter need to get out before it’s too late.

Arden lives her life but his rules. If she doesn’t follow them she’ll feel it for days afterwards.  He’s never hit her in the face. That’s off limits... for now.

Arden knows if anybody can help her it’s Revenge. She wasn’t expecting certain feelings to come up. She swore she hated him. Deep down she knows that’s not true.

Arden doesn’t want to hear the truth from Revenge about that night all those years ago. But, when she finds out the truth all bets are off and in bed they jump into.

Too bad it isn’t that easy for these two. Arden is still married to the devil himself. The devil is connected to Grace’s devil. Things are going to get dirty, dangerous and complicated before they’re butterflies and rainbows.  Don’t forget there’s still things Arden doesn’t tell Revenge until she is pushed up against the wall.

Rie saved the best for last!!! As sad as I am it’s over I’m glad he ended it. Revenge is so much more then I ever thought he was. You’d never think he was from a high class family. But, man does he fill out a suit. Wonder if he uses the same tailor that Josh Stone and the Retribution guys do LMAO I’m just saying!!!!

I don’t wanna give away too much. I will say whenever Angel called church and it ended up all the guys sitting around the table talking love, relationships like Dr. Phil was there had me weak. I was rolling and crying from Lmao.

Man bun number one was a shocker but was AMAZING and it truly showed how much this MC, the bikers and the community has grown.

Rie you’ve given me another favorite series to add to my list. I legit can’t wait to see what you publish next.

As Gabriel—who now called himself Revenge—greeted folks in a friendly manner, I couldn’t deny he was gorgeous. His lips had always been perfectly masculine, sculpted in a divine way. Even now that he was more hardened, the ruggedness only served to heighten his virile appeal. The tats completed the picture of a confident man, and everything about him was new but familiar at the same time.

He tugged my hand once more, bringing my arm up to curl around his neck as his body began to move.

Zydeco was usually fast-paced, hard-grinding music. As luck would have it, Gabriel chose to guide me out onto the crowded dance floor to a song that cast a slow burning spell.

Drawing up to my toes, I whispered at his ear, “You’re a bad influence.”

“Something we can finally agree on.” He chuckled.

My throat went dry as I followed his lead, letting my fingers slide from his neck to his shoulders to the mountainous bulge of his biceps.

No man had a right moving his hips the way Gabriel did. The lusty rotations conjured up fantasies of hot fiery coupling, pounding the likes of which Barnaby didn’t understand.

His pounding involved his fists on my body at deliberately aimed places.

With Gabriel, I let the music take me, knowing I could do nothing wrong enough to anger him in such a way he’d hurt me.

I leaned my head back, and he grasped me closer around the waist as my breasts brushed against his hard chest.

When his groin collided with my belly and I reared up at the thick ridge I felt butting against me, his lips hovered near my earlobe. “I think you’re the bad influence, cher.”

I was getting carried away.

For once, I just went with it.

The lyrics to this song were more sexual.

Sensual even.

The rhythm dripped down into my being like slow-melting ice in a tumbler of whiskey.

I quickly grew hot as Gabriel twirled me this way and that, always bringing me back to the formidable cradle of his body.

I wondered if he missed me as much as I missed him—at those darkest, loneliest times of night when I could let my fantasies run free only to startle from them to find I’d been virtually locked inside a house with a madman of my own choosing.

No.

None of that here.

Not right now.

Gabriel’s irises looked like glimmering steel, and his palms scorched the flesh beneath my thin dress when they skimmed from my hips to almost settle on my ass.

A breath skipped from my chest, the heat I remembered from so long ago swirling to all the places I thought dead—my breasts, my nipples . . . right between my thighs.

“Damn, Arden.”

Even his growly timbre did strange, half-remembered things to me.

I blinked up at him. “What?”

“I need a drink to cool off, babe.”

The sultriest of laughs left my lips, and I wondered if I’d ever be able to close this Pandora’s box now that I’d opened it again.

He ordered from the bar as I stood to the side, observing him.

It was unreal how easily he fit in to any crowd.

He had always had charisma—shame he hadn’t put it to good use.

When a very pretty woman approached him—her hips leading the way in a heavy come-on—I stiffened right up.

Gabriel’s beard parted for a grin, and I nearly curled my nails into talons like a jealous bitch.

He shook his head with a laugh and sauntered toward me, leaving the woman watching with drool practically running down her chin.

I forgot about everything as soon as I polished off my drink, and Gabriel took me out on the dance floor again. We laughed, letting it all go just like we used to.

In this world, nothing could touch us.

Nothing could tame us or cage us.

With a break in the music, I drew back to catch my breath and get my bearings.

Perspiration beaded along the strong cords of Gabriel’s neck, and I fought the urge to lick the salty taste off him.

I fought the urge to walk back into his arms as another song began.

I knew coming to Jupiter’s had been a foolish move on my part.

I’d let myself become stupidly infatuated again, but I needed Gabriel for one specific reason.

✯Release Review✯Gilded Lily (Bennet Brothers #2) by Staci Hart

The wait is over! Gilded Lily, the second standalone in Staci Hart's Bennet Brothers Series, is LIVE! Trust me when I say you do NOT want to miss this one! Lila & Kash are everything. Grab your copy today on Amazon or snag this beauty in Kindle Unlimited today!

They say there’s no such thing as perfect.
But I’ve built my life to perfection—the perfect boyfriend, the perfect apartment, the perfect career planning celebrity weddings. My job—my only job—is to make sure every event is absolutely and completely perfect.
What’s not perfect? Kash Bennet.
And I wish I didn’t find that so appealing.
I could have told you every perfectly imperfect thing about the gardener at Longbourne. Like his hair, lush and black and far too long. Or his nose, the flat bridge of a Greek god, bent a little like it’s been broken. Or his size. Beastly. Roped and corded with muscles, gleaming with sweat and peppered with dirt.
There’s no escaping him, not if I’m going to use his family’s flower shop for my events.
But nothing is what it seems. And in the span of a heartbeat, my perfect life is turned inside out.
They say the best way to get over somebody is to get under somebody new. When Kash offers his services to the cause, it sounds like the perfect plan.
What’s not part of the plan? Falling in love with the gardener.
But they were right—there’s no such thing as perfect.
And I’m the fool who finds out the hard way.

But, the worst thing they have to worry about is themselves. They have to learn to believe each other and believe in themselves to get their HEA.

This is a must read!! Kash and Lila were a slow burn romance and it was completely worth the wait.

The Bennet family story isn’t over yet. They’re still fighting for their legacy, that’s their flower shop. This is the perfect example of a family fighting for what’s right. I can’t wait to see them all get their HEA and their flower shop saved.

Everyone hates parts of their job.
Maybe it’s the paperwork. Maybe it’s the day-to-day grind. Maybe it’s that client who never knows what they want, or the guy who always cooks fish in the microwave.
But not me. I love every corner of the Longbourne Flower Shop, every flower, every petal, every stem. I love the greenhouse, and I love Mrs. Bennet, my boss. I love creating, and I love being a florist. I don’t hate anything at all.
Except for Luke Bennet.
The Bennet brothers have come home to help their mom save the flower shop, and Luke is at the helm. His smile tells a tale of lust, loose and easy. He moves with the grace of a predator, feral and wild. A thing unbridled, without rules or constraint. When he comes home to save Longbourne, I almost can’t be mad at him. Almost.
He doesn’t remember that night I’ll never forget. That kiss, touched with whiskey and fire. It branded me like a red-hot iron. But it meant nothing to him.
Everyone hates part of their job, and I hate Luke Bennet.
Because if I don’t, I’ll fall in love with him.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

✯Release Review✯Untwist (Unbound Trilogy #3) by Kathy Coopmans

Title: Untwist
Series: The Unbound Trilogy, Book 3
Author: Kathy Coopmans
Genre: Contemporary Romance

I waited ten years to grasp hold of a woman I knew was too good to be mine.
Back then, I had failed her. But I knew, somehow, someway, unknowingly to her, I’d find a way to make it up to her.
All the years in between, I watched her from afar. Keeping her safe, protecting her from the shadows that crept in the deep, dark of the night.
Then, out of the blue, she unraveled me with one sweep of her innocent little tongue.
The woman drew me straight toward all her light.
Blinding.
Intoxicatingly.
Mine.
It didn’t take long for me to come undone. Fall in love and change the course of my life.
Ellie Wynn had untwisted me from leading a lifestyle that should have never been mine.
Then fate gave us a crash course about how not all good things come to those who wait.
I’d failed her once again.
This time, her life is on the line.

✯✯5 Untwisted Stars!!!✯✯
I’m strung up because of it. I’m tumbling down because I should have known, the shadow that lurked in the night would steal her from me, in a blink of an eye.
And, now, I’m left to wonder how much can a person take before they break?

This is the last book in The Unbound Series and omg what an ending!! You definitely must read the first two books in this series before you read this.

We pickup exactly where we left off. Shadow’s lied about his release date and he’s came for Logan and Ellie. Caught them by surprise. He’s shot Logan and left him for dead and taken Ellie but not before she fought for Logan.

Logan knew he should’ve killed Shadow years ago and he’s regretted it ever since. Logan doesn’t plan on making that mistake again. But until he gets that chance he’s gotta take it easy. Logan’s been shot and his younger brothers and closest allies are banding together to find and get Ellie back home and serve up Shadow on a silver platter to Logan. Logan just has to be patient which he’s not known for doing.

Ellie has lived in fear bc of Shadow since he entered her life and ESP since the night he attacked her. Ever since meeting Logan her entire life changed. She doesn’t want to love her life afraid and alone anymore. Ellie loves the light, happiness and strength Logan brought into her life. Ellie refuses to believe Logan died. She can feel him still and until he comes to rescue her she won’t backdown to Shadow and fight him off every chance she gets.

Ellie is one strong woman. She never saw herself as strong and never stood up to her fears. Once Logan entered her life Ellie’s backbone came out and she embraced it. She fought and stood up for both herself as well for Logan.

Logan’s always been a protector. He’s always looked after his brothers since they were younger. He even took over his fathers business that he never wanted. Protecting Ellie was no different. Logan has also loved Ellie since the instant he laid his eyes on her. Logan worships the ground that she walks on.

These two are literally couple goals. Even when they’re at their lowest, after they’re in mourning a loss and dealing with physical and mental pain they still are madly in love and more worried about the other one before themselves. I’m so in love with Logan and Ellie and as much as I loved their story, I’m sad it’s over.

I’m hoping Kathy is definitely writing Logan’s brothers stories bc those fine men desperately need HEA AS does Ellie’s best friend.

Once when I was a little girl, I dreamt that my dad painted our house pink because he wanted the whole city to know that inside the castle, lived his princess and his queen.
There were thick vines covered in bluebonnets that rose up from the ground and went past my bedroom window ending somewhere in the bright blue sky.
Below on the green grass stood my prince. I couldn’t see his face; I only knew he was someday going to climb up, and we were going to live happily ever after just like all the movies I watched with my mom and dad.
When I woke, I knew our house wasn’t pink, and I knew the man that stood there waiting for me wasn’t real. I pretended he was, and even though I thought boys were yucky, I remember telling my mom about the dream. She didn’t laugh and tell me it wasn’t real. She told me seeing was believing. She said children have a vibrant imagination and mine could be whatever I wanted it to be.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be. I only knew someday I wanted to be a mother.
I wanted someone to love me the way my dad loved my mom. So, I used my imagination, and I pretended and daydreamed as most little girls do. Sometimes, my dreams came vividly alive while I slept. Others would occur at random, like the times when my parents and I would lie in the field, surrounded by bluebonnets and gaze at the stars.
In this dream I’m having now, I’m hopelessly in love with a man with dark brown hair and the greenest eyes. A love like ours wasn’t a conventional type of love, but it’s our love, and it came on quickly. Beautiful to me, and everlasting.
In my dream, I’m holding a baby, and this man was holding me as we stared down at our unexpected miracle. I couldn’t tell if it was a girl or a boy. I couldn’t even see its face. I only knew it was a part of me and a part of him. Its heartbeat vibrant and steady. It has ten fingers, ten toes, and a head full of hair the same color as the man. It was perfect, it was healthy, and it was very much alive.
In my dream, there wasn’t a monster holding a gun; there were only beauty and peace and a whispering breeze of calm. In my dream, my parents are alive. My mother knew who I was, and my father, he wasn’t lost in his sea of pain.
I gasp, choking on my saliva, spitting it out and feeling it dribble down my chin as my dream switches directions. The gears start shifting. They grind making an awful noise, and my life swerves, spinning out of control. I come to a dead stop, ending with my worst nightmare in front of me.
A hallucination that can’t be real.
Unpredictable and volatile.
I blink and close my eyes several times to clear the fog. I need to see my baby’s face instead of the monster.
I open them slowly, to find my baby is gone. Sweat drips down my temples; dread surrounds me because as my hands frantically search for my child, it’s then I realize the man holding me isn’t the man I love, it’s the monster.
He’s found me.
