WW Regret FOR WEB.jpg
Every little girl dreams of the fairytale. The one where the white knight rushes in to save her from the clutches of evil. They fall in love, have babies, and live happily ever after.
By that definition, my life should have been a fairytale too.
When I was eight years old, Caven Hunt saved me from the worst kind of evil to walk the Earth. It didn’t matter that I was a kid. I fell in love with him all the same.
But that was where my fairytale ended.
Years later, a one-night stand during the darkest time imaginable gave us a little girl. It was nothing compared to the pitch black that consumed me when I was forced to leave her with Caven for good.
At the end of every fairytale, the happily-ever-after is the one thing that remains consistent. It wasn’t going to be mine, but there hadn’t been a night that passed where I hadn’t prayed that it would be hers.
I owed Caven my life.
However, I owed that innocent child more.
And that included ripping the heart from my chest and facing her father again.

Never one to take herself too seriously, she enjoys cheap wine, mystery leggings, and olives. It should be known, however, that she hates pizza and ice cream, almost as much as writing her bio in the third person.

✯Release Review✯Baby Yours: Hunter & Lennon, #2 (Roommate Duet #2) by Kennedy Fox

The worst day of my life happened when Brandon died.
We had our entire future mapped out.
Careers, marriage, kids—in that order.
Then the universe threw a curveball and ended it all.

As I come to terms with everything, I learn I’m carrying his baby. Now I’m living with his roommate, the guy who’s made my life a living hell the past two years. Hunter’s now the one to hold me up when all I want to do is fall.

Knowing my religious parents will never accept the pregnancy out of wedlock, Hunter offers to be my fake husband. While I think he’s gone crazy, it’s the only plan that’ll keep them in my life. So I do whatever it takes to make our relationship believable—kissing, touching, even letting him hold me when we sleep. The lines are so blurred neither of us want to admit we’re no longer pretending.

The guilt of what we’re doing eats me alive as I struggle to deal with my emotions. I push him away, but he pulls me closer, showing me how he’s always felt.

Just as I begin to follow my heart, I learn Hunter’s been keeping secrets.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life…

**This is book 2 in the Hunter & Lennon duet and must be read after Baby Mine. Recommended for ages 18+**

✯✯5 Healing Stars!!!✯✯

When I finished Baby Mine I was dying to get my hands on the next part of Hunter and Lennon’s story.

We pick up right where we left off in Baby Mine.  Hunter and Lennon are headed back to Lennon’s hometown. Lennon’s parents are old fashioned and her father is the pastor of their church and Lennon’s afraid once her parents find out the truth they’ll kick her out of the family.

Ever since Brandon died in that accident Hunter has stepped up. Hunter will do anything for both Brandon and Lennon. It’s why he stayed to the side for the two years they were together. He’ll do anything to make sure both Lennon and the baby are happy, safe and healthy. Even pretend to be Lennon’s husband if it kills him.

The minute Hunter kisses Lennon he knows it’s right. Hunter would give anything to make Lennon his but unfortunately she’ll always be Brandon’s. But, she’ll always have Hunters heart.

Lennon’s emotions are all over the place.  She can’t believe Brandon’s gone and that she’s pregnant with their baby. If that wasn’t hard enough to deal with she than has Hunter. He went from hating her guts, to becoming her best friend. The person who takes care of her 24/7. The more time they spend pretending to be married the more confused Lennon becomes. Lennon wants to believe Hunter’s doing everything because they’re friends and bc of Brandon. But, the things Hunter says, does and the way he looks at her makes her wonder if he means it.

Hunter owned my heart from the very beginning of this duet. My heart broke, no it shattered for him over and over. He tried to do what was right for Lennon, Brandon and everybody all except himself. Even with that crazy female up his butt, he tried taking the high road. He truly didn’t deserve any of the grief Lennon put him through bc she was figuring things out.

Lennon legit got under my skin all through out this book. The girl definitely did have a lot going on. I can’t imagine having loosing the guy I love, finding out I was pregnant and knowing my conservative parents would disown me.

Even with all of that now add Hunter into the mix. Yes, Lennon was dealing emotionally but she put Hunter through the ringer. Most guys wouldn’t wait around that long for a woman to get their heart/head straight and if they did, they wouldn’t say yes to everything Hunter did. Hunter would do anything to make Lennon happy and I felt Lennon didn’t truly think of Hunter’s feelings at all. That disappointed me but she made up for it.

I’m glad Lennon and Hunter got their HEA. The epilogue totally started Mason and Sophie’s story and man what a jaw dropping start to what hopefully is their HEA.

I saw her first.
Blonde. Gorgeous. Feisty.
I was smitten.

But it didn’t matter because she chose him and he was my best friend and roommate. I’d never be able to compete with that, so I pushed her away instead. It was easy when she lived hours away, and I didn’t have to see her every day, but then she moved in with us.
Now, I’m screwed.

To her singing in the shower every morning, dancing in the kitchen while she makes coffee, and doing yoga in our living room, I can’t stop thinking about her in all the wrong ways. She’s not mine and never will be, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to push her against a wall and claim her mouth.

She’s constantly on me for making messes, bringing chicks home every weekend, and being a smartass when their PDA gets on my nerves. Considering neither of them know how I feel, it’s not fair for the way I act toward them. I should move out so I can get over her for good; however, the selfish part of me can’t let go.

But then the unthinkable happens...
When my best friend dies in a motorcycle accident, the two of us are left to grieve our loss together. Instead of pushing her away, I pull her closer.

Just as we come to terms with our new reality, she finds out she’s pregnant with his baby.
And I’m left to make the hardest decision of my life...

✯Release Review✯Cry Mercy (Blood Legion MC #1) by Rie Warren

Title: Cry Mercy
Series: Blood Legion MC Book 1
Author: Rie Warren
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: May 20, 2019
Gritty star-crossed lovers? You have no idea . . .
ANGEL
I thought I knew bad times. The worst times. My dad murdered, the MC that’s rightfully mine ripped apart by corrupt rule. I didn’t know anything about true horror until I met a Tennessean girl named Mercy.
Angel and Mercy, frigging ironic, right? You don’t know the half of it. Blood Legion MC is my legacy, and revenge against me is Mercy’s. If you’re looking for gritty star-crossed lovers in the Crescent City, you’ve found it. Because there’s a damn good chance one of us won’t make it out of here alive.
MERCY
I’m at the mercy of my menfolk. Mercy . . . ironic, isn’t it? Because my cousin and my uncle show no mercy to me, despite my name. I’m used against my will. I’m beaten and worse when I don’t behave. I have no freedom, only one friend, and no chance of escape even though New Orleans is so vibrant I feel like I could touch the colors.
I fled the compound for just one night. I shouldn’t have. I met a biker called Angel—Angel. He’s blond as a seraph, but big and tall and full of sweet talk I’ve never heard before. Except he’s my family’s enemy.
Angel can’t be my only hope because my kin have vowed to take out him and the rest of the Blood Legion MC in one big Tenn-tucky blaze of glory.

✯✯5 Angel Filled Stars!!!✯✯

Rie Warren yes!! I’ve wanted Angel and the Blood Legion MC ever since she wrote Storm(Bad Boy Of Retribution MC). I was beyond stoked to learn she was answering my prayers.

Angel’s finally at his rightful place of his MC, as the president. With the help of his brother Storm they got rid of the trash. Now, the MC is on the right side of the law. They own their bar, opened up a tattoo shop and even paying taxes.

Angel is very happy with the way his life is and wouldn’t change it. Until he spots a beauty in the bar one night. She’s brighter than the rest and doesn’t dress up to impress or push up to any guy to get seen. Angel goes right to her and when she said her name was Mercy he knew they were meant to be. When she goes to run away he thinks he’ll never see her again. When she does comeback it’s to warn him their about to be attacked. Angel knows things will never be the same.

Mercy was able to skip out when her uncle wasn’t around. When Mercy went into the bar and bought a beer she was in awe. These bikers and hippies all getting along and hanging out, wasn’t like anything she’d ever seen before.

Mercy’s uncle, brother and the rest of their gang hate the Blood Legion MC. They’d killed her brothers years ago. When Mercy meets Angel she wants to know more of him. But, with her uncle she knows she can’t stay or else everybody is in trouble.

When Mercy returns home her uncle finds her and takes his frustrations out on her. Until he finds out where she went her uncle is going after the MC.

There’s only one thing Mercy knows she must do next. That’s to warn Angel and the MC. World War 3 erupts and Angel is there to protect what’s his.

Angel and the rest of the MC take Mercy into their family. Angel knows everything that Mercy’s been through and he loves her anyway. When Mercy is confronted by her uncle she knows her happiness is gone forever. Mercy is put into a loose loose position. Stay and her friends and the MC will suffer, go back her friends and the MC won’t be harmed.  She knows she’ll loose either way but Mercy feels she must protect her old friends, new friends, Angel even if it kills her.

Angel doesn’t quite get it at first. But, when he figures out everything Angel knows he’ll save Mercy and not her go down alone without a fight. It just isn’t that easy. Through it all they have each other.

Next up is Slade and I’m jumping up and down. I’d been hoping for him since Bad Boys of Retribution and I’m stoked he joined Angel and his dark past will finally get told.

Rie does an amazing job at writing these bad boys and their leading ladies. Not many people can write these kind of stories and yet make you not want to put your book down. I can’t wait for the Slade and Grace.
“Hey, Angel! You got a live one there?” A man with tons of chunky silver rings on his fingers yelled over to our quiet corner. “Fuck. Off. Saint,” Angel replied, swiping him the middle finger without even looking. “Saint?” I asked, lips curling together. “And Angel.” Angel winked. “And don’t forget Mercy. Must be destined, oui?”I smothered a smile, taking another long drink of my beer. “Well, I don’t think he’s a saint or you’re an angel. Not by the way those pretty ladies looked like they were competing for your company earlier.” “You saw that?” Groaning, he rubbed a hand down his cheek. Then his face lit up from the inside. “So you were watching me just as much as I was watching you.” I couldn’t help but laugh as he gloated. Then I pressed my palm against his chest and lifted up to the toes of my boots to whisper against his jaw, “I was waiting to see if you’d get your eyes gouged out.” He laughed loudly, tipping his head back so his gold curls shimmered. I snickered, draining the rest of my beer. “Buy you another?” His arm ringed around my waist. And alarm bells went off. I wrestled free, quickly checking the time on my watch. Almost midnight. “I have to go.” I slammed my bottle onto the nearest table. “Didn’t mean to scare you off, Mercy.” Angel stepped in front of me as I waded to the door. He held his hands raised in front of him. I dodged around him, fleeing like I should have done an hour ago. Running down the sidewalk, I tripped on the uneven pavement in my over-sized boots. A strong arm banded around my waist, drawing me up and steadying me. “Got you, beb.” Puffs of breath pelted against my ear, and then Angel released me from his grasp. He spun me gently around, his hair like a halo lit by the streetlight. “At least let me give you a ride. Where you headed?” I shook my head. “I just need to go. Please.” I got the feeling Angel L’Esperance didn’t chase just anyone. But I couldn’t let him get close to me. I didn’t want him knowing where I lived. Shame and embarrassment bled into one big ball of regret. His fingers came up to tenderly caress my cheek. The first touch on my skin from a male that didn’t make me flinch or quake or want to crawl away in fear. “Can I at least get a kiss?” My heart leaped. Angel didn’t pose a threat. How could he, with a name like that and sincerity shining in his clear blue eyes? Even more, he’d easily tunneled beneath years of distrust and hurt . . . in mere minutes. “Yes,” I whispered. He closed his eyes. He hummed a deep rumbling sound. He bent his burnished head over mine, and seconds later the softest, most pleasurable sensation melted against my mouth. His tongue took a trip across the seam of my lips, sailing to a stop before he plucked my bottom lip between both of his. When he drew back, I swore I could read dreams in his eyes. It wasn’t a kiss. It was a promise. It tasted like hope. Hope I couldn’t afford. Oh lord. “How about your number, Miss Mercy?” Hope became cinders in my mouth. “I don’t think so.” Threading his fingers through his hair, he tousled the strands even more. “At least let me put my number in your phone.” “I don’t have a cell phone.” Another thing I wasn’t allowed. He frowned heavily at me before grasping my hand and squeezing it. “Wait here.” He raced back to the bar, and I knew I should leave while I could. But my lips tingled. I pressed my fingers against my mouth, remembering the firm warm pressure. I wasn’t going to make it back to the Lair in time. Half a minute later, Angel ran back to me. His grin didn’t make it to his eyes that time. He stuffed a napkin in my pocket. “My number. Call me.” “Why?” He laughed curtly. “Whaddya mean why? I wanna see you again, Mercy.” Gathering my hands in his, he asked, “You sure I can’t give you a ride?” “I have to go. I have to go now.” “Okay.” He released me. “Okay.” I turned away from him, pulling the napkin out to crush it in my hand. To hold it in my hand. Dashing away tears that came from the deep hidden well within, I sprinted. I looked back once, and Angel still watched. He watched until I was out of sight. I tried to keep my bearings. I hoped I got home before my kinfolk. Because something bad would happen if they found me missing.
