Heather's Review!!

 ✯✯4 Stars!!✯✯

Wow!  Vivian Winslow, I love you!  You never cease to amaze me in your writing!  I love how these books are very quick reads and you can still enjoy a sweet love story as well as the hot and steamy parts are never far apart!

Blue Dahlia is the 4th book in the Gilded Flower series and focuses on Lily’s sister Dahlia. I liked this book because you learned more about the character Dahlia and you realize that she is much more complex than what was lead on in the previous books. The beginning of the book was very mysterious.  Dahlia is very happy in her relationship with Rodrigo and she is planning to move to Miami with him, but there is something from her past that she needs to correct that is in California and you are left wondering what is going on for quite some time.

Once Dahlia flies to California, you realize that she is married and left her husband, Shane, a very attractive surfer, quite abruptly for a reason that is still a mystery.  Dahlia doesn’t tell Rodrigo where she is until she has to, and she had never told him that she was married until it was too late.  Once Dahlia and Shane become closer, she begins to question her decisions and can’t decide between Shane and Rodrigo, and she painfully fills Rodrigo in on every painful aspect of the situation and he is left to think that they are over, without the proper closure and Dahlia immediately picks up where she left off with Shane and you learn the real reasons why she left Shane in the first place.

Blue Dahlia is a must read and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quick read without missing out on all of the fun aspects of a hot and steamy romance!  I can’t wait to read what happens next!
