✯Release✯Take Me by Sara V.Zook

Synopsis

The depths of his soul are as black as his eyes.

He’s a thief and a murderer. Add kidnapping to the list now that he’s taken me, forced me away from my father’s house in the middle of the night. There’s no room for mercy in his dead heart. He’s driven by purpose, and I keep messing up his plans. So he hates me. He punishes me. He’s my captor, and there’s nothing I can do to change that.

But then he’s forced to make a decision—keep me or let someone else have me?

He’s still my captor, but also a kind of savior now too.

Somehow things have changed between us. I can see it in his eyes. He doesn’t like it, but he can’t stop the motion from going forward. He wants me in a different way, and it’s killing him to give in to his desires. I’m beginning to see that sometimes even a dead heart, even one belonging to Creed, can be revived.

 ✯✯5 Creed Size Stars!!!✯✯

Where do I start? This is my first but not last book by Sara V. Zook. I absolutely loved this book. But, OMG the ending had me where I was so mad I cursed a whole lot and they were all directed towards Sara. I thought I had the ending planned out in my head. I mean I saw it perfectly. Well, I felt like I blacked out and woke up on the floor with people surrounding me, and me like "WTF just happened". Because, that's what happened to me when I finished Take Me

I'm not going to go full blown review here. Briston and Creed deserve to have their story told. But, not by somebody else's POV. It needs to be read by you.

Creed is on a one man mission. Get his brother back and alive. His brother has gotten into trouble with the wrong people. Creed needs money. His plans are to break into the biggest richest customer house and get the money and get out. Nobody get hurt. Then, he gets his brother back.

Things don't go that easy and smoothly. Now, Creed has kidnapped Briston. His plans haven't changed on getting his brother back. At first Creed hides his face. Over time that changes. Briston is a strong, vocal woman. Briston keeps her eyes on her surroundings and her ears open for every conversation. Creed is a scary, big, tattooed guy. But, she just continues asking questions and everything else. Briston is beautiful but she's a spoiled brat use to getting what she wants. She's definitely making Creed's already difficult life that much more difficult.

Briston realizes quickly that there is more to Creed then this guy who took her out of her father's house. She feels bad about his brother. It doesn't help that she'd finding herself more & more attracted to him as the hours pass. When she can't help herself she makes her move. Creed just as shocked but definitely happy about it. With both wishing they met at a different time and a different way. They have fallen for each other.

Briston wanting Creed to see there's another way to fix this. She can handle her father. They can get his brother back. Briston wants it and will do anything. Creed would give anything for that as well. But, all Creed can see is vengeance. Creed won't listen to Briston. Briston will do anything possible to save Creed. She does the only thing that will save his life. Even if both of their lives will never be the same.

I legit read this from start to finish in less then 5 hrs. I couldn't tell you if somebody ran past me on fire that afternoon. I was head down and eyes glued to Creed and Briston. I haven't hated the ending to a book in awhile now. Even though it was coming, I'm mad Creed and Briston didn't end the way I had hoped. Sara V. Zook has a new fan in me. I am hoping she'll write a prologue to this book. I'd love Creed and his brothers story.
