As a chief stewardess on luxury superyachts, I massage egos, pamper the spoiled and cater to the most outlandish desires of the rich and famous.
I’ve never had a guest want something I can’t give them. Until British businessman Hayden Wolf comes aboard—all sexy swagger and mysterious requests.
He wants me.
And Hayden Wolf’s a man who’s used to getting exactly what he demands.
Despite being serious and focused. Demanding and ruthless. He’s also charming when I least expect it as well as being devastatingly handsome with an almost irresistible smile.
But guests are strictly off limits and I’ve never broken a rule. Not even bent one. My family are depending on me and I can’t lose my job.
Only problem is Hayden Wolf is looking at me like I just changed his life. And he's touching me like he’s about to change mine.
A standalone romance.
✯✯5 Ruthless Stars!!!✯✯
There’s a reason the title is called The Ruthless Gentleman. Hayden Wolf is the CEO of his business and he’s Ruthless. He’s gone from something to nothing back to something and he won’t let anyone take everything he’s worked hard to get.
This past year has been hard on him. Somebody has been leaking information to his competitors and he’s loosing both money and business. He’s not planning on loosing anymore.
Hayden’s brother Landon suggest he goes on a cruise while he goes digging into all Hayden’s employees to find out who the leak was. Hayden first has his brother do a background check on all the employees in order for them to be on the cruise.
Hayden is going to tell everybody in his office that he’s going on vacation. But, instead he’s going on the cruise ship and it’s going to sit in the Mediterranean and work old school without internet and plan on closing his next big deal.
Avery Walker had things planned out. Then her brother got hurt and it just left them and her dad. Avery got a stewardess job on a luxury cruise. It’s not easy. It’s long hours, she’s got to plaster a smile on her face when she really wants to put a drunken man in his place and she spends way to much time away from her father and brother.
Avery’s looking forward to going home for a bit. But, her boss pulls her aside. There’s a 2 month cruise and she was hand chosen for head stewardess position. Even though she’s dying to go home, Avery knows the money will be good. ESP the tip and her brothers care needs it so she decides to stay.
Avery was totally unprepared for this cruise. There’s only one customer for starters. He’s got a strict rule of nobody allowed their phones or WiFi. If she’d known that she might not of taken this job even if the pay is good.
But, Avery is attracted to him. Which has never happened before. Customers and staff are strictly prohibited and Avery won’t do anything to jeopardize her job.
Hayden doesn’t trust anybody. But, he finds Avery unlike anybody he has. He lets be known he’ll only deal with her. Which is bad bc he’s attracted to her and now isn’t the time since he’s not sure who he can trust except his brother.
But, these two can only stay professional for so long. And. Man are these two explosive together. Which is bad and good. Too bad these two didn’t meet under different circumstances.
Hayden’s your typical British CEO millionaire. He was all business but he had a soft spot for his brother. Their conversations always had me smiling and laughing. The way he was with Avery was super sweet too. I totally fell for him.
Avery was amazing. The sacrifices she made for her brother was admirable but she also wasn’t at fault and didn’t need to make up for anything. She was good at her job. I was SO glad when Avery let loose and let her hair down and for once in years lived for herself.
I couldn’t put this book down once I opened it. Now, I really really need Louise to give Hayden’s brother Landon a book. Seriously. I need it Louise. Need it!!
