✯Release Review✯ Perfectly Thin by Margaret McHeyzer
Margaret is seriously one of my favorite authors!! She writes books that hit you deep down in your gut. Her books aren’t all rainbows and butterflies. Nope her butterflies usually have one wing that’s bent and even though they’re still beautiful, they’re flying in a circle or just all over the place. Almost every book that she’s released I have seen pieces of myself in every main female character and Perfectly Thin was no different.
Jane’s in her senior year of high school and her eighteenth birthday is rapidly approaching. Jane is very close with her parents, grandparents, her 2 best friends and is as close as possible with her 2 older sisters as much as possible.
Jane isn’t one of the popular girls in school but as long as she has her two best friends she’s good. She’s never been super skinny like her sisters or her besties. Unfortunately for Jane the mean girls and guys target Jane every single chance they get.
Jane has been exercising and watching what she’s been eating and it’s showing. She’s lost some weight and looks great. When one of the popular guys asks her out on a date she is shocked but agrees.
Jane was really looking forward to going and having a good time. What should’ve been a great night turned into the worst night of Jane’s life. When Jane was left after being called a something and not a someone it gutted Jane.
Jane went on a mission of her own. She was going to prove to the meanies in school, her sister and everybody else who stares at her when she walks by. Jane googles exercises and different foods and their calorie count. Then writes down an exercise and food plan and is strict on herself.
Jane is hard on herself. Harder than anybody else. Jane has the voices on the inside of her head talking, yelling and reminding her of things all day. Loosing weight starts to become an addiction to Jane and not a good addiction. No matter what anybody says to Jane she’s not listening and it might just kill her if she doesn’t start to listen.
My whole life I’ve struggled with my weight. My weight 100% gone up and down my entire life and I don’t ever see that not being an issue. I myself have voices that talk to me whenever I look in the mirror or buying new clothes. I’ve also been bullied in school a bunch of times as well.
I totally understood Jane’s feelings and the urge to loose the weight. But, the
more the story went the more I worried for Jane and for her health.
Margaret definitely did her research on anorexia and everything that a person goes thru while struggling through the daily and while trying to overcome it. Perfectly Thin is in my top favorite reads this year. I’m looking forward to Margaret McHeyzer’s next release.

✯Cover Reveal✯The Test(The 4Horsemen #2)by Elena Monroe
Series: The 4Horsemen #2
Author: Elena Monroe
Genre: Dark Romance
Answering the phone, I held onto my breath, when I heard an older woman's voice come through. “So, you’re the guy responsible for her bad attitude.”
A nervous laugh erupted from me. I had never dated anyone long enough to give them the idea that I would want to speak to anyone important to them.
Besides her.
“I’m so glad you called me back…” The Clave mask slipped back into place, polishing all my stained edges in the hopes of impressing her.
“Didn’t give me much of a choice, since you’ve been calling me every day. Is there something I can help you with?” Her voice showed her age, but her mouth was a family heirloom passed down to Justice.
“I love Justice very much. I wanted to express this to you and prove that I deserve her hand in marriage.”
Laughter poured in from the other end of the phone. “You don’t take no for an answer, do you? If she wanted to marry you, I don’t think she would have evacuated LA like a natural disaster was headed her way.”
“Respectfully, no. I don’t lose gracefully.”
“Go on. I’m gonna need to hear you express those feelings,” she said, but not with an iron fist. Her voice sounded tired and worried for Justice.
“Okay… I’m not a great person, but I’m a better person because of her. I want to be good enough to deserve her.”
“Oh, honey, she wasn’t always a good person either and don’t you let her forget it. Wicked girls like her can’t forget to be humble…”

Hate is a strong word.
Depending on the company, loathe is a good substitute. Abhor might be a little fancy, but it gets the job done. But the word that really sums up how I feel about Liam Darcy is, without question, hate.
He doesn’t seem to think much of me either. The second he lays his fault-seeking eyes on me, he sets out to oppose me. Everything about him is imposing, as if he consumes the nearby air to power the rise and fall of his broad chest, and it’s clear he resents my presence on his advertising team. Every idea I have is shot down. Every olive branch I offer is set on fire by nothing more than the blistering coals he calls eyes.
In return, I light him up with my words.
It’s not as if he can dismiss me, since I work for his client, Wasted Words. Instead, he’s forced to tolerate me, which seems the closest we’ll ever be to friends. Fine by me.
I can be civil and still hate Liam Darcy.
But if there’s more to him than his exterior shows, I won’t be able to hate him at all. I might stumble over that line between love and hate and fall right into his arms.
OMG I’ve been waiting for Laney’s story since I read Coming Up Roses the first of the Bennet Brothers Series.
Laney Bennet is the only girl in her family. Her families flower shop Longbourne has been in their family for generations. The normal thing is the daughter takes over when their mom is ready to retire but Laney never saw herself taking over Longbourne’s ESP since her brothers and their significant others have really stepped up when they almost lost it.
Now that Longbourne’s is in the good hands of her younger brothers, Laney and her twin brother Jett are headed back to Wasted Words, the bar/bookstore they work at.
Laney has been in charge of Wasted Words’s social media for the past year. Wasted Words is expanding and opening up new locations so they’ve asked Laney to work with the company that’s going to get the word out about the new locations.
Laney really likes Georgie Darcy who is the go-too person between Wasted Words and the PR firm. When Laney meets Georgie’s older brother Liam it’s a different story. Liam instantly snubs Laney and for no reason. Laney is instantly mad but she won’t let Liam treat her like she’s below him regardless of what he thinks.
Liam Darcy works for DeBourgh and Associates a business his parents had built and left for him and his younger sister Georgie.
His aunt took them in after the passing of his parents and is in charge of the daily running of the PR firm.
Liam is a ruthless businessman. He works hard for his clients and also lives to protect his sister. He’ll do whatever he has too to protect her even if he has to come across as the bad guy.
Liam has no desire to deal with Laney but that’s what his clients want and he’ll do whatever the client wants. Including working with Laney Bennet.
Just the sight of Laney puts him in one seriously bad mood. It sets him so off that he goes off on her in a meeting in front of their entire team and it doesn’t set well with Laney and after the meeting when they’re alone, Laney lets him know what she thinks of both him and his actions.
When Laney goes off in Liam it should piss him off but it makes him feel things he knows he shouldn’t feel for her.
Liam’s mixed feelings for Laney weren’t the worst of his problems. He’s worried about whatever is going on between his sister and that Jett Bennet. His aunt doesn’t want a Bennet near her business or her niece & nephew or in business or alive and breathing she hates them that much. And, there’s an ex of his & Georgie’s lives that are back around and dragged Laney into the mix. Needless to say Liam’s has had it.
Liam and Laney are more alike then they realize. If they actually realized it then both of their lives would be a lot easier lol but that’s easier said then done.
I’m legit in love with everything about this book. It brought back so many things I’ve loved from Staci Hart previously like the Bennet family, Wasted Words and all those precious characters I’ve read and loved from both sets of books.
And, talk about a serious enemies to lovers book... This is 11000% it!!! As I was reading I got to 66% and when Mr. Bennet put his arm around Laney and they talked and she cried I found myself crying right along with Laney.
I’m so so so upset to have to be saying goodbye to the Bennet family. I simply don’t wanna!!! Lol and I’m not sorry about it. I am really looking forward to what Staci Hart will release next.
Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

✯Release Review✯ Wrangling the Cowboy (Circle B Ranch #3) by Kennedy Fox
Gavin Fox had made his career in bull riding. Gavin is 35yrs Old and he’s an award winning bull rider and retired at the top of the game. Now he’s looking forward to the next phase of his life.
Gavin is interviewing to be a horse trainer at The Circle B Ranch. After his interview he goes to The Circle B Saloon that the Bishop’s own as well. While there he eavesdrops on a conversation between the bartender and her beautiful sister.
When Gavin starts talking to the beautiful girl they end up playing pool. Maize is unlike most girls he’s met while traveling for bull riding. They end up leaving together and have an amazing night together. Gavin thought so but when he woke up Maize was gone without waking him or leaving a letter or number.
When Gavin started working at the ranch he’d hoped he’d run into Maize again bc he hasn’t stopped thinking of her since their night together. Gavin was shocked to learn Maize is the head cook at the B&B and she’s a Bishop. Gavin was shocked when he went to say hi to Maize and she acted like she didn’t know him. Gavin has tamed bulls that were untamable, so he’s going to enjoy the game Maize wants to play bc he’s not giving her up.
Maize Bishop got burned years ago by one of the ranch hands that she made herself one rule. Don’t date anybody that works for her family.
Maize is in charge of the kitchen in her families B&B. She’s always lived on the ranch and always planned on working with the family business. Maize also wants to have her own catering business.
Maize going home with Gavin isn’t something she ever does. But, there was something about him but she quickly got in her own feelings and left before he woke up.
Maize was completely shocked when Gavin showed up as the new horse trainer. Maize instantly acts like she doesn’t know him and that their night never happened.
Gavin won’t let Maize forget it though no matter how many times she denies it.
Maize has kept Gavin at arms length for awhile now. Gavin is getting whip lash bc one minute they’re hot and the next they’re freezing cold. But when Maize’s lightbulb finally turned on she’d pretty much pushed Gavin right off into the shark tank without putting him into the cage first.
Gavin might accept her apology but that doesn’t mean they’ll go back like nothing happened. Nope!! Maize must show Gavin she wants him. Really wants him and have a life with him.
OMG I legit started this at midnight thinking I’d read a little bit before bed. Next thing I knew it was 5:20am and I read 62% LOL. I couldn’t wait to finish reading this bc OMG Gavin and Maize are everything.
Even though Gavin and Maize are 10yrs apart you’d never know it I’d it wasn’t brought up. They’re really perfect for each other.
It was great catching up with all the previous family members we’ve been introduced to already.
I’m looking forward to the rest of the series. Kenzie and Grayson are frenemies. Kenzie hates him and Grayson says he doesn’t know why. I thought they were next and I was all for it but Kennedy Fox switched it up on us last minute.
We’ve also known about Elle and her issues with her veterinarian boss Connor. Well, Elle and Connor are next and they’ve brought a third wheel named Stephen to the game and I’m ALL for the added drama LOL.
