I knew when I read The Two of Us that I had to know more about Eli and Cami’s best friends & brother. Ryan is Eli’s best friend and Cami’s older brother and Kendall is Cami’s best friend. These two acted like they couldn’t stand each other but it was a complete act and I was all about watching them fall for each other.
Kendall and Ryan might think the other one is hot but that’s as far as it goes.
Ryan doesn’t want to be in the limelight like the rest of his family ESP his parents. The paparazzi has given his sister a hard enough time. Instead Ryan wanted to help people so he became a Dr and he loves it.
Being a Dr during a pandemic was never something Ryan thought he’d have to do. He watched so many people die. The pandemic was a year ago and he’s still dealing with it his own way. He works 24/7 and doesn’t see that changing.
Ryan’s happy his best friend and sister found love with each other and follow their hearts. What he’s not happy about is having to go to his family’s cabin with Kendall for the weekend to get it ready for their honeymoon.
If that wasn’t bad enough they loose power and he’s forced to spend more time with her and away from work. The more time Ryan spends with Kendall the more he realizes his impression of Kendall was completely wrong and it kills him that he spent most of his time disliking her, when they could’ve been more. The more he thinks about it the more he wants to be more with her but he’s not sure how to say it to Kendall.
Kendall knows what Ryan thinks of her and she hates it. She can’t help if she likes to dress nice but she’s more then that.
Kendall wasn’t prepared to be stuck in a cabin with Ryan due to a snowstorm and no electricity. The more time her and Ryan spent together the more things have changed.
One night of drinking made Kendall bold enough to tell Ryan how she feels about him. The more time they spent together the more she wants but she’s afraid to bring it up to him.
They might’ve had an agreement that they’ll do each other as long as their in the cabin but we all know how that goes. Once feelings get involved everything changed lol.
Once outta the cabin they go back to normal but can’t stop thinking about each other. Once at Eli and Cami’s wedding they want to tell each other what they’re really feeling. But, Ryan runs his mouth to Eli without thinking and Kendall overheard and that’s it. Ryan will do everything to get Kendall to listen to him.
I absolutely loved this book!!! I couldn’t put it down. Lemme tell you these two were hot!!! I mean smoking hot. These two belonged together.
I’m totally looking forward to Kendall’s sister Piper and her bodyguard cooking up next!!! Hurry up November 2021 lol.
