Olivia Brent has one summer to save the dairy farm she just inherited.

But there’s one problem, and it’s not her lactose intolerance.

Jake Milovic.

The brooding farmhand has inherited exactly fifty percent of Brent Farm, and he’s so convinced the city girl can’t work the land, he bets she can’t save it in a summer.

Determined to prove him wrong, Olivia accepts what might be the dumbest wager of her life.

His strategy to win seems simple: follow her around, shirtlessly distracting her between bouts of relentless taunting. And it’s effective—if his dark eyes and rare smiles aren’t enough to sidetrack her, the sweaty, rolling topography of the manbeast’s body would do the trick.

What they don’t know: they’ll have to weather more than each other.

Mysterious circumstances throw the farm into disarray, and with the dairy farm in danger, Olivia and Jake have to work together. But when they do, there’s more to fear than either of them imagined.

Because now their hearts are on the line, and the farm won’t be the only casualty if they fail.

✯✯5 Goat Filled Stars!!!✯✯

I’m so so happy Staci Hart wrote this book. It was such a cute story!! I started it last night and next thing I realized it was 5am and I’d read 62%.

Olivia aka Livi lost her parent’s when she was young and she moved in with her grandpa on their dairy farm.

Livi stayed with her grandpa until she moved to New York to go to college for marketing. After she graduated she stayed in NY and worked for her aunt. Livi always planned to go back to the farm. She thought she had time but 10yrs have gone by in a flash.

Livi is back at the farm with her pink suitcase’s and pink rain boots. But, she’s not back for a good time. Her grandfather has passed away so Livi quit her job and had moved back home.

Livi knows the farm hasn’t been doing the best the lady few year’s but she didn’t realize just how bad they were doing.  Livi has plan’s to work on updating the farm’s social media, branding and trying to get the farm outta debt.

But, she had no plan’s on her grandfather leaving half the farm to Jake. She was shocked and ready to work with him but Jake was dead against her staying and working on the farm and leaving wasn’t on her list of thing’s. Jake wants her to either go back to New York and  let him run the farm his way or son over her 50% and Livi is on a mission to prove him dead wrong.

When Jake’s mom passed away he went cross country from farm to farm working. When he knocked on Frank Brent’s door his life changed. Jake didn’t just find a job but he found a home and a family.

Jake asked Livi not to leave and go to New York but she did and she didn’t return and he didn’t forget it.

Jake’s worked for Frank for the last decade. Frank took a huge risk on Jake when anybody else would’ve let whatever happened to Jake happened. Frank put himself and the farm in debt for Jake and he’ll do whatever it takes to pay him back.

Jake’s devastated that Frank has passed away. He’s absolutely shocked that Frank left him 50% of the farm.

Jake knows the farm is in debt. If the farm being in debt was the only issue he might be OK. But, Livi has come in with all these crazy idea’s for the farm. Jake’s not having one bit of it. Then there’s the feud that over 125yrs old. The Brent family and the Payton family have been at each other’s throats. And now work Frank gone the Payton’s are circling the farm like sharks.

Jake and Livi agree to disagree to work together for a certain amount of time. They’ve put bets on what they can do and winner take’s all.

The farm isn’t the only thing at risk. These two are at each other’s throat’s 24/7 nonstop. But, their chemistry is also high and sizzling. Unfortunately they’re their own worst enemies but when they give into it boom they’re explosive!!!

Just when they think they’ve figured out how to work together both at the farm and personally thing’s start happening around the farm. Thing’s that could ruin them and their business.

Jake believes it’s the Payton’s and doesn’t care what anyone says. Livi doesn’t wanna believe Chase Payton would stoop down to his dad & grandfather’s level. They can’t seem to get on the same level and if they can’t figure it out it’s the ends of them and the farm.

I’m such a HUGE Staci Hart fan since the very first book I read of her and Bet The Farm is no different. I’m looking forward to her next release.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
