I been waiting for Shelby's story. Even though I wasn't in love with the previous books. Simply because I felt like I didn't connect with the characters as I normally like. But, I wanted Shelby's story and hoping to finish Tash and Alexa's stories. 

Shelby is the 3rd piece to this beautiful strong friendship. Shelby only has her friends and her job. Her parents threw her out when they found out she was bi-sexual. She misses her mum terribly. So much so, that she'll park on their block with her car hidden. Just to get a glimpse of her mum leaving for work. 

Shelby meets Eleanor AKA Lena Murphy. Does the last name sound familiar? It should. Lena is James and Johnny's younger cousin/sis. They're very close always have been. Lena is a firefighter and loves her motorcycle. Shelby and Lena are instantly attracted to each other. 

Just as Shelby thinks everything is great she gets  a phone call from her mum. She's lucky she has such awesome friends Alexa, Tash and Lena helping her thru it. Even the Murphy men make her laugh and smile when needed. 

I felt just as we were getting to Shelby's HEA her story had just stopped. We jumped to Alexa, Tash  and the guys going to Dublin to meet momma Murphy. I felt like we got their whole stories. But, Shelby I felt like we only got part. I still really love their friendship though.

Finally more Lachlan, Mags and the rest of their crew!This novella picks up at Christmas a few months after we left off. Mags and Lachlan have gotten comfortable having sex. Very comfy! These two are like 2 bunny rabbits humping every chance they get. Poor Bridget LOL!! 

This really is a quick read. So I'm totally not going to give you all the details. This is the first Christmas Mags has had in 10 yrs. She's still working at the garage and helping out at the bakery to help with the Christmas rush. She has really got a great relationship with Bridget. Thank goodness bc her real mom is a piece of work! 

Everybody has really grown to love Mags and the feelings are returned. The guys and all their ladies have such great holiday traditions. But, it still has all the Corrupt Chaos humor to go along with it. We meet Bonez brother. Well, we already know him. Eek! 

Bink definitely started setting up the next few people's stories. Bridget, Cas, Fawn and a few others. It was such a great read. I needed it with hating this time of the year so much. Lachlan is still the sweetest ever. Except now he's not ashamed of himself and loves to show Mags what she means to him. Man were these 2 hot!! Bink needs to hurry up with the next book.

Mayra Statham has done it to me again! This is her debut book. But, it's the third book of hers I've read. I been dying to read this book even since I read Davenport Harbor the third book in this series. I fell in love with Sabrina and Mike and knew I had to read their book. Man, was I so not prepared for their story!

Sabrina Miller was happily married with 3 children until her husband got killed by a drunk driver. The last 3 1/2 yrs Sabrina has been going day to day the same way. She makes sure her kids are happy and throws herself into her work. Her family and friends help her with everything. They're all worried about her. Sabrina stopped living her life and isn't carefree and living life to the fullest. But,they're letting her deal with the loss of her husband her own way. 

Then one afternoon Sabrina's life changes. When Sabrina runs into Mike Crown. Yes, she legit runs into a beautiful steel wall by the name Mike Crown. Their chemistry was instant and off the charts hot! Sabrina's friends and family have been trying to hook her up for years now. She's never felt anything for anybody since her husband. Until she bumped into Mike. 

Mike and Sabrina get into  a routine very quickly. Sabrina is very busy between her job and juggling the 3 kids. Mike is also very busy with his job and traveling at the last minute at times. Sabrina's kids and Mike get along so good. Every time I'd read the interaction between Mike and the kids I'd end up smiling or tearing up. Every time!! Mike and Sabrina are falling fast for each other. They aren't dating but "getting to know each other"and man I'd do anything to get to know a man like Mike!

Sabrina doesn't know Mike for years or know everything about him. But, she can tell he's holding back. She can feel he wants to tell her something. But, she won't push him. Mike is torn. He was with his ex for 10 yrs and he's never felt anything close to what he feels for Sabrina. He wants to claim her. But, he won't until he tells her everything. Mike can't get the words out. He's tried and they never come. Mike doesn't want to loose Sabrina or her kids.

This book was fantastic!! I loved the 2 POV's in this book. Getting how Mike was struggling with everything. He was so in love with Sabrina and the kids it was so nice. Mike didn't care about her "baggage" as Sabrina would say. He loved them all. Except he was fighting a battle within himself. It broke my heart. And, Sabrina. Man, she's prob one of the strongest and forgiving woman I have read in a long time I'm dying for her BFF Nick to get his story told. Every book of Mayra's I read the harder I love her! She's totally on my must read author list. I don't need a synopsis to put it on my TBR list. It just needs her name. I can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Kathy Coopmans has done it again! I have wanted Roan story since I met him in The Wrath of Cain. Except he was known as Manny. It was at the end we learned his story and man was he a force. I thought I was prepared for Roan story. But, yea I wasn't.

Roan Diamond is next to takeover his family dynasty. But, he's got a problem  making everyone's lives miserable. He's brother Royal. Who has spent his life abusing, attacking and threatening Roan. That hasn't changed. Royal has been in hiding and is like an evil ghost. Taking people out without ever being seen. Last he saw his brother was when he attacked Roan and his cousin Calla. Roan has a plan to get Royal out of hiding. His ex-girlfriend and daughter of his families rival. Alina Solokov.

Alina left years ago. She does not agree with her families business at all. She left after she broke it off with Royal and didn't look back. Royal hurt her bad. In a way that nobody should deserve to be hurt. Alina has never told anyone except for one person what Royal did to her. Alina spends her time either working or with her BFF/roommate Diedre. Alina knows that Roan has been following her and she does not appreciate it.

Roan knows he can not go thru with his plans to use Alina. She's too special and he know insists on doing anything he can to protect her against Royal and anybody else. Alina at first looks at Roan and all she sees is Royal. But, she learns very quick that's not the case, Roan is nothing like his brother. He might be a dangerous man. But, he also very loving, caring and would do anything to protect his family and everybody else he cares about. ESP Alina.

The more time Roan and Alina spend together the harder they are falling. Alina knows she is safe with Roan. So safe that she tells Roan her deepest darkest secret. And, it guts him. No wonder she left without a word. It made Roan want to kill Royal even worse then before. She made him promise not to say anything. But, Roan just couldn't do it. Alina is the only daughter of a bunch of brothers. One more dangerous then the next. 

Roan quickly earns the respect of Alina's brothers and parents. Now, the Diamonds and Solokovs are teaming up. Their mission is to find Royal and keep Alina save by any means necessary. It's not an easy task. Royal seems to be one step ahead of them at every turn.

This book was filled with crazy non-stop action and hot, steamy chemistry. Every time I thought I knew what was coming or prepared for it. Kathy proved again and again how good she is. Roan and Alina are perfect together. Alina is a spitfire and not afraid to back down to anyone. Not Roan, her brothers, her mom or her father. Roan is a protector of those he cares about. Yet, he's such a teddy bear. Roan and Alina brought out the best in each other. The next book needs to hurry up and hurry up now! ESP with that cliffhanger ARGH
