✯ If Forever Comes by A.L. Jackson Review✯

✯ Synopsis✯
If Forever Comes, the final chapter in the New York Times Bestselling series, Take This Regret.

Christian Davison’s life is complete. With a ring on Elizabeth’s finger and his daughter at his side, he’s ready to run headlong into their future.

Elizabeth Ayers never believed she would again find this kind of joy—the joy of a family and the wholeness found in the touch of the man she’s always loved.

Their love is intense and their passion only grows as they set out to rediscover each other.

But life is never easy.

Rocked by the unforeseen, Christian and Elizabeth will find themselves fighting for the one thing they hold most important—family.

If Forever Comes is the conclusion to the Take This Regret series. This is one series that if you haven't read them yet, you need too! I have literally wanted to read this the minute I put Take This Regret down.

We start off 10 months after the ending of Take This Regret. I was honestly waiting to read about Christian & Elizabeth's happily ever after. What  I got was anything but that. My emotions were shot from page 1. YES!! A.L Jackson did us like that. We bounce back & forth from both Christian & Elizabeth POV. We bounce back & forth from present time all the way back 10 months. Which was nice because between Christian & Elizabeth we had their story told to us. And, it was told in such a good way.

My heart was ripped out of me on page 1!! We learn instantly that Elizabeth & Christian are no longer together. It wasn't from the classic someone cheating on the other one. Or from just something just plain stupid. We find out that Christian & Elizabeth have gone thru something very, very traumatic. It was so traumatic that either one of them really knew how to 1st handle it. Then, how to move on from it.

My emotions were all over the place while reading this. When I was reading the flashbacks, I'd sit there with a HUGE smile on my face. Even when I was reading Take This Regret Elizabeth & Christian's love was always there. No matter what the situation was. It was still there in this book as well. Even now, the flashbacks were pure love and happiness. They loved each other & Lizzy more then anything else. All of their friends said they were perfect for each other. They were soul mates. Which I've said since day. I loved reading about  them planning their wedding & their future.

Just as they are about to take that step forward. Tragedy hits. Neither one of them know how to deal with it. They both start dealing with it in 2 different ways. Their communicating stopped. The love they had for each other didn't stop. Elizabeth eventually shut everyone out. My heart broke into pieces. Finally after a huge argument Christian left. He didn't do it because he wanted too. Elizabeth needed her space.

They literally fought tooth & nail to get back to their happy spot. The place where everything in their world was right. At the end when I read BOTH epilogues I cried my eyes out. I cried because I was beyond happy with everything!!

A.L Jackson did a FANTASTIC job making you feel every emotion. All the love, anger, happiness, sadness, emptiness you will feel it. You will never doubt the love Christian & Elizabeth have for each other. If you've never read a book written by A.L. Jackson you have no idea what you're missing!! I am so looking forward to reading what she is coming out with next.

"I love you, Christian. Always. There is nothing that can make me stop loving you. Nothing that can make me stop needing you. You are my start and you are my finish, the one who's going to be there for everything in between."

"You are the most exquisite woman, Elizabeth. No one compares to you. not a single soul."

“It’d broken Elizabeth. Cruelly. Savagely. In Turn, she’d shattered me.”

"You belong to me just like I belong to you."
