Synopsis:

Ever wanted to fast forward to your happily ever after?
My name is Mackenzie Locke and I’m a loveaholic. I haven’t got a handle on men. Not even a little bit.
So I staged an intervention and booked me and my two best friends into Love Rehab, complete with a love shaman, horse therapy and a bunch of stones that promise to change my life. I’m not leaving until I’m cured.
Lesson #1: the first night of your stay, don’t have a one night stand with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen in your life.
Fail.
Lesson #2: make sure your one night stand isn’t planning on sticking around, teasing you, tempting you right back into his Levis.
Big Fail.
Lesson #3: Whoops. I forgot this one. I was too busy daydreaming about Blake McKenna’s mouth on mine and the way his five o’clock shadow feels on my thighs.
Epic Fail.
So maybe I’m not the best student. Maybe I wasted my time and money on Love Rehab. But I can’t help that I want to spend every minute with Blake, naked under the stars. Perhaps he can teach me every lesson I ever needed to learn.

✯4.5 Un-Cowboy Bright Stars!!!

Louise Bay has done it to me again.  Whenever I start a book by her I am not doing anything else until I've finished it. Most times that includes sleeping. This book was no different.

Mackenzie's finance just broke off their engagement. This makes it her 3rd failed engagement and she's about to do some soul searching. She drags her 2 best friends Rose and Kennedy to Oklahoma for a 5 day seminar called Love Rehab. Mackenzie is hoping that at the end she'll understand why her relationships don't last.

The first night there before her seminar starts her and her friends go to the bar. Mackenzie meets Blake and these two end up getting very acquainted with each other very quick. It was the best one night she's ever had. So, imagine her surprise when she finds out he's the brother of the girl running Love Rehab. Mackenzie ends up spending the rest of the time working on herself and the evening working out Blake. The closer to the end of  day 5 she's realizing she's never been herself completely. But, with Love Rehab and Blake she's seeing everything different. The one things she knows for sure was this thing wth Blake was supposed to be a one-nighter and now she doesn't want to leave him.

Blake is at a crossroad in his life. Does he go right and start his dream job that he's been waiting for since forever or he can go left and stay where he's at because he's close to his family. Blake's not sure what he's going to do. He decides to go home where he can think. He's also going to help his sister. While at the bar he spots a beautiful red head and decides to spend the night with her. Blake realizes quick that Mackenzie isn't like any women  he's been with before. Over the next 5 days when he's with his sister and the group he's realizing more about himself and more about Mackenzie. She makes  him see things clearer. But, before he can ask her about day 6 somebody from Mackenzie's past makes a surprising return.

OMG! What I loved about this book was I haven't read anything like it. This concept was something I  wasn't sure how it was going to play out. But, I can see this book on my TV screen when I'm having a LifeTime/ Hallmark movie marathon weekend. Thats how good it was. I would like to see Rose and Kennedy get their stories told.

About the Author:

USA Today bestselling author, Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels - the kind she likes to read. Her books include the novels Faithful and Hopeful and the novella series' The Empire State Series, What the Lightning Sees and Calling Me. The novels and together the series are stand-alone although there are some overlapping characters. Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films. Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn't have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne. She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
