✯Review✯This is Love(The Checkmate Duet #2)by Kennedy Fox

Synopsis

The anticipated conclusion of The Checkmate Duet from a secret duo of bestselling authors! Checkmate: This is Love is an enemies to lovers romance that will have you crying with laughter one moment and screaming in frustration the next... but you'll be begging to play the game with The King.
Game on.

***
Viola Fisher is the epitome of perfection.
She despises my one-night stands and mocks my less-than-classy habits.
She's smart, beautiful, and too good to be true.
And I want her.

If she were anyone else, I'd have made my move years ago, but considering she's my best friend's little sister, she's always been off-limits. Not to mention how much she loathes my very existence.

Hating me is her religion, but needing her is mine. Her sexy curves and filthy smart mouth make me want her even more, and I'm more determined than ever to change her mind.

I'll prove I'm done playing games.
But until then, we'll continue to play by her rules.
Viola Fisher may have won the battle, but the war isn't over yet.

Checkmate, princess.

*Recommend for ages 18+ due to sexual content and adult language.*

✯4 King Size Stars!!!

Finally!! When I finished book one of this duet my kindle almost got thrown into the wall. I was unprepared for that cliffhanger and been waiting for an answer.

We pick up right where we left off. Travis has gotten into a car accident and his best friend Drew's evil ex-girlfriend Mia was with him. Viola has a million and one questions on why was she with Travis.

Viola has a million questions on why they were together. But, her older brother Drew doesn't have any. He trusts Drew 1000% and knows he wouldn't do anything to hurt Drew. So, Viola goes with Drew and believe Travis and not ask.

Drew doesn't know about Travis and Viola being together. He still thinks they hate each other. Travis is getting ready to leave the hospital and he's banged up pretty bad. Drew asks Viola to help Travis during the day. Of course she wants to jump at the chance. But, gotta fake it to Drew that she'll do it but isn't happy about it.

I read this book in 2 sittings. When I first started this duet OMG I thought Travis was such a tool. But, by the end. I was so in love with him. Even Viola drove me to the point where I wanted to throw my kindle. But, now I 100% understand why they were the way they were. If I spent 99% of my life seeing the love of my life EVERY single day and I felt like 1- he had no idea how I felt about him 2- I had to see him with another women. Viola and Travis are PERFECT together. I'm looking forward to seeing more of them in Drew's book.
