I'm a huge huge fan of Margaret McHeyzer. Her past few releases have been instant favorites of mine. But, this one isn't on my favorite lists. I'm hoping the next book has more. And, more I mean answers. Even if I got one answer I'd be happy.
Lexi is just about to celebrate her seventeenth birthday. When she's rushed into surgery for an appendicitis her life will never be the same. Lexi doesn't know exactly whats going on. But, she knows she's seeing things. She realizes she cant touch anybody bc she'll see into their future.
While at the mall with her best friend she bumps into a handsome guy and what she sees scares her. Lexi makes the decision to warn him. That was probably the biggest mistake she's done so far.
She ends up getting taken by this handsome stranger, she learns his name is Jude. While he calls what she's got a gift, she's learning its really a curse. Jude insists he's in her debt and will protect her, all while using her gift for his personal advantage. Lexi quickly realizes that Jude is a very bad and dangerous guy. But, he's not that way with her. No matter how hard she's tries Lexi and Jude know nothing about her gift, how to fully use it or how or why Lexi got it.
I have a love/hate thing going on with Jude. I do feel he owed his life to Lexi. I just wish he went about everything differently. I also wish he gave more answers to Lexi's questions. Just because he bought her everything she could ever need and then some. It didn't make it OK.
When I was finished this book I was legit just as confused as I was when I started it. There was question after question. But, no answers. It was frustrating. Saying that I am looking forward to the conclusion to this story. I also hope we get Jude's POV as well.

Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.
My last three books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.
My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making life long connections.
I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have while writing them.
