I've always been a sucker for rock star books. But, this is my first female rock band book and it didn't disappoint me at all. It did take me a bit to get into this story. But, once I did I couldn't put it down.

Mercs is a talented lighting tech and he's going on tour with Luminous an upcoming female rock band from Australia. He loves his job and he's good at it. He also has a lot on his shoulders. Mercs is leaving his gran and sick sister back home. He's going to be sending home money to help with his sisters care. What he wasn't expecting to do was fall head over heels in love with the lead singer and become overly protective of her. 

Efta's the lead singer of Luminous and they're on tour. Everything is finally running smooth since they hired the new lighting tech. But, Effa wasn't expecting to fall heads over heels for him the minute she saw him. But, her bandmates and manager are totally against the being together. Even the singer from the opening act is against it for his own selfish reasons. Effa falls head over heels for him. They fall fast and that causes problems. Effa's going to end up stuck and hurt in the middle of a war she didn't want to believe was there.

Once I got into this book I couldn't put it down. Effa is all breathe in and out. She can put her hand on you and read your energy type person. Then theres Mercs. He's a typical alpha male and very protective over the people he loves. But,  I feel he went so so over the top being they legit just met, became a thing and he's demanding things be done. Even if he was 100% correct, I felt he handled it wrong. But, that ending... OMG!! I need the 2nd part of this story and hoping the other girls get a story.    

Australian author K E Osborn was born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia. With a background in graphic design and a flair for all things creative, she felt compelled to write the story brewing in her mind.

Writing gives her life purpose. It makes her feel, laugh, cry and get completely enveloped in the characters and their story lines. She feels completely at home when writing and wouldn’t consider doing anything else.
