The old house at the end of the haunted street seems emptier with the people missing and the lives lost.
Sam thinks he has Hanna all to himself now but The Roses have other plans.
Ari and Aimee struggle to cope with the changes they've suffered through, the newest one being Giselle. She is thrust into the role of Vampire Royalty and with it come certain obligations and limitations.
None of them really have much time to feel sorry for themselves and the deaths of their loved ones. An ancient bloodline, tracing as far back as Adam and Lillith, is discovered with an heir to the power living closer than they thought.
Enter the young and confused Ophelia, who has no idea of the power she has or the role she plays in it all.

"I will love you as long as I live. My heart will belong to you forever. Even when a thousand years has passed and you don't remember me, every heart beat will be for you"
WOW!!! Where do I begin? Witch was intense from page 1 until the very last page. We start with the prologue. Where Lillith is giving birth. When the green eyed witch announces it's a girl, she's told to get rid of it! That is until she realizes she's having TWINS!!!
First we meet 17yr old Ophelia. Everything changes when her sister and her friends make her use the Ouija Board. Now she hears what people are thinking, she can freeze people. Oh... And there are 6 ghosts that are identical to her that are following her around. She then meets Sam. We met him in the last book. Remember him? Hanna's love. Sam is 1/2 Siren, 1/2 Fallen Angel. He convinces Ophelia also known as "O" to come back with him to Lydia's so she'll be safe.
Now they get to Lydia's and O learns she's a witch. But, not just a witch but THE witch of all witches!! While she is learning about her prophecy Sam and Lucas are looking for Aleks father. Sam gets a message from Hanna telling him she's going to meet her family. Now, he's all worried because he knows how Sirens live their lives.
Ophelia meets Oliver. Oliver is O's fathers best friend. Mind you her father is evil. He has O's twin brother and mother captured and wants her dead. Oliver says he loves O and has loved her for her entire life. Now Ophelia and the other Roses have to figure out if he is setting them all up to die or if he really does love her and want the best for her.
Sam and Hanna just can't seem to catch a break either. After they get into a fight Sam uses his Siren powers on O to get her to use her powers on breaking his match with Hanna. Once everyone learns what Sam did they go crazy. ESP, since O has no idea how her powers work. And, once Sam's feelings are turned off it can drive someone crazy. Now Sam, Oliver, Hanna and Ophelia need to figure out how to reverse it without going to the dark magic.
Speaking of dark magic. Giselle is now Queen Vampire!!! That was pretty crazy/funny because she hasn't been a vampire more then a week. It was def intense reading how Giselle handles becoming Queen and all the consequences that come after it.
Now, they're still trying to get Aimee's sister back. Which turns out that O's father has them. Oliver has convinced the Roses that he can be trusted and they come up with a plan to get Aimee's sister. And kill O's dad and brother before they kill her.
This book was so intense from start to finish. I loved Sam and Hanna from Hyde. It was crazy because no matter how much they love each other they can't seem to catch a break. Just like Oliver and O. Everytime O puts her trust into Oliver she seems to get knocked back down. But, you can really see the love he has for her. It's just a matter of time before who and when he'll betray someone. This book was full of action from beginning to end. I really do love all of the characters. I've also learned to not get to attached to characters. ESP, when Ari is around. I'm super excited to read the final book Death and see how the last battle is won!!
