Excerpt
“Beg for me, Hope.”

The words were jumbled, echoing from deep within something far from where she lay, but she wanted him back, closer, touching her, driving her.  She floated inside a bubble of fire and ice, of day and night.  Thought was obsolete and meaningless, the only things necessary were pleasure…and pain.  She’d beg, now that she’d been pushed to a point of abandon and carelessness, she’d beg for more, for it never to end.  Her strength was her weakness, and now that he’d discovered it, he forced her body to betray her, to mock her for how feeble her mind had become.

“Please.”  Her plea was muffled by her intoxication and she opened her eyes to see his wicked grin.  He didn’t look real.  He wore his strength and command over her like he would clothing, every inch of his skin sticky with masculinity and raw power.  Drops of sweat dripped down his brow, sliding along his skin, breaking apart against the stubble of his jaw.  She’d trembled when he’d raked his cheek along the inside of her thigh and she wanted to feel it over her breasts as his teeth bit into the tips.

“Please what?”  He laughed softly and his words vibrated through his chest, tickling her skin where he touched her.  Every few seconds he would run his length between her thighs, tempting and teasing her – promising to fill her so full, her own body would break apart around him and her mind would shatter within her skull.

 “Break me…please”

6 STARS!!!
I cannot express enough just how much I LOVE the sick and twisted mind of M.S. Willis. Her stories in the Estate Series are absolutely amazing and completely and utterly deranged! What started out as a pretty mellow story (compared to Joseph Fallen) took a complete turn into an all-consuming darkness that left me with my heart racing, and jaw hitting the ground.

The story of Hope and Xander was a very unique one. Hope is a trained assassin.... one of the best that there is who is sent to take out Aaron Carmichael in order to try and save her sister's life. Xander is Aaron's right hand man and closest friend. During her captivity by Xander, he discovers just how dark Hope's mind actually is, and that she may be more like him and Aaron than they all realized. And with that, a bond of hatred, and of lust formed between the two.

"Tell me you don't want me now, Hope. Tell me you want me to stop giving you everything you are desperate to feel."

Since book one, I always said Maddy and Aaron were my favorite characters, but Hope and Xander definitely took that title now. These two were incredible! Hope is strong and seemingly unable to be broken. She doesn't react to pain the way normal people would, which most would consider her strength, but some would call it her weakness. She is a fighter through and through to the very end. And holy sexiness Xander. There is something about him that has captivated my heart in this book. I am in serious need of MORE of these two!!!!

"You taste like my destruction."
"That's funny. I was just thinking the same thing about you."

Being able to see events unfold from the perspective of different characters was probably one of my favorite things about this book. The way in which M.S. Willis incorporated this into the story really made the characters come alive in my mind. You already know the events which led to Xander being raised by Joseph in the Estate, but in Hope Restrained you got to see things through Xander's eyes which really emphasized just how screwed up that whole scene really was (I seriously did NOT think it could be more twisted, but once again, M.S. Willis proved me wrong). Also, the view into the minds of those whom were drugged and forced to witness unthinkable acts (or at times be a part of them) sent chills down my spine. Part of me went into fight or flight mode, and the other part was huddled up in the darkest corner shaking uncontrollably. There were definitely certain parts which gave Joseph a run for his money on most fucked up character ever!

"Hope's mouth opened and a sound she'd never known was possible escaped her. It was the sound of loss, of heartbreaking pain and absolute misery."

The next book, Honor Bound, cannot come fast enough. These books are like my drug, and I cannot wait to get my next fix. The time I spend away from them are almost unbearable! I am starting to wonder if I am completely fucked in the head for loving these books and characters so much! LOL.

Other books in the Estate Series
Book 1
She was meant to be his destruction…
A pawn played in a perilous game between father and son…
Yet, her strength was more than either man could imagine.
As Maddy learns to save herself…
She becomes the one thing that could set the son free.

Madeleine Clark was raised to become a concert cellist. Sheltered and naïve, she remains hidden behind her music, a protection from the world around her. On the night of her first solo performance, Maddy accepts the admiration of a stranger and finds herself captive in a cruel and twisted power struggle between a sadistic father and his son, Aaron.

Seemingly dangerous and uncaring, Aaron manages the business operations of his father’s estate. Wanting nothing to do with the slaves kept at the Estate, Aaron refuses to take part in the deeper depravities of his father. Despite his resistance, Aaron’s father ‘gifts’ him with a petite, brunette woman he can’t refuse.

A bond forged in conspiracy and deceit, Aaron struggles to save Maddy by teaching her to survive in the world in which he’d been raised. An unlikely union, Aaron soon learns that great strengths can exist within small packages, while Madeleine learns that love and light can exist in the darkest of places.

Book 0.5
There is a fine line between genius and madness…
Between love and hate,
Between right and wrong.

Joseph had created The Estate for her…
His wife,
The woman he chose to bear his child.
She was beauty unsurpassed;
And her song was unlike anything he’d ever known.

However, their love was a story that would not find a happy ending.

In this prequel novella to the Estate series, follow Joseph Carmichael as he creates a world unlike any other. Because, in order to comprehend The Estate, you must understand Joseph; but, in order to understand Joseph, you must discover how a man falls from light into the pitch black depths of ultimate darkness.

Coming Soon: Hope Restrained (The Estate #3)
