Susan Nelson is hard of hearing, through an accident at school she becomes permanently deaf. She now has to figure out how to survive in an all hearing life style. Her parents Chase and Beth, along with her two best friends Ashley and Kelly are all hearing. Now with their help she has to change her way of communicating and her way of living to survive in their world.
If that’s not hard enough, she meets a gorgeous boy named Ken, who doesn’t seem to leave no matter how many times she pushes him away. Oh and better yet, Ken is also hearing. Now Susan has to deal with her crush on Ken while trying to figure out everything else in the world.
Everything around her seems to be breaking, like glass. Can her friends, parents, and even cute boy Ken show her that their love is the one thing that will always and forever be Unbroken?

I had a wonderful childhood and started writing when I was nine years old. When I was thirteen years old I signed up for a home school writing class. That’s where it all began.
When I first announced that I wanted to be a writer I was laughed at but I didn’t let that stop me. I just kept writing and writing. It didn’t take me long after that to realize that my passion for writing was a gift.
