This is the 2nd book in the Take a Chance series. This too is a novella and it's just as hot & steamy as book #1. And, like the other book I wish it was longer.

Tommy de Salvo is Nicole's older brother. Today she's marrying his best friend Jase. He it truly happy for them. He'd be even happier if a few months ago his fiancee didn't leave him. Tommy def had a void inside of him.

Jasmine Reyes AKA Doc to Jase and the rest of the guys she served with in Afghanistan. Jase, Jasmine and the rest of the guys are home on medical leave. They were hurt when a bomb exploded. Jasmine got hurt physically but it was the pain mentally she was still dealing with. Jasmine wants to go to see Jase get married. But, doesn't plan on staying bc she does not want to talk to the guys about the decision she made on what she plans on doing next.

When Tommy is walking down the aisle his and Jasmine eyes meet. It's instant connection. She seen pictures of him from Jase. Tommy had heard about her. But, neither of them were prepared for what was coming.

Once Tommy & Jasmine meet it everything else didn't seem to matter. Sparks flew the minute they shook hands. They made sure to stay near each other. Now, either of them are 1 night stand people. It's just not them. But, Tommy remembers telling Jase "It's time to go big or go home." 

Tommy pulls Jasmine aside and it goes from 0-100 in a matter of seconds! These two are hot. They both have their own insecurities they need to get past. It def won't be easy. But, they are perfect for each other and might be the one to help the other one to move forward.

I really wish this was a full length book. I think Jasmine's PTSD could of really been a big part of her relationship with Tommy. Even Tommy could of definitely had trust issues after his fiancee leaving him. That's my biggest problem with novellas. Other then that it had chemistry and def a lot of heat between these 2. You won't be disappointed with this book!!
