I will take Ryder anyway I can. Even if it is in the form of a novella. This was such a sweet novella. It definitely is giving you a refresher before the next book Gods & Monsters comes out. It also shows you a much softer side to Ryder. It gives you a completely different and freakier side to Jade & Harrison's parents. I remember being like OMG!! Hahahaha...
The Scorpio Stingers MC have never been in this kind of place before. First Ryder & Jade have lost Peanut. Both are still grieving for their little girl. Cobra & Mia still have no idea where their son Jamie is. They're beyond devastated. The club is still mourning Ratbag and trying to stay strong for their Brothers Cobra & Ryder and their Old Ladies.
Ryder decides that for Christmas let the MC do a bike run and donations for children and help the poor. While getting as much exposure on them. While they get Jamie's name & face out as much as possible. It's also his way of keeping Peanut memory alive for him & Jade.
Jade's family is more high class then the bikers. But, when Jade tells her mom everything she is shocked. We finally learn why her parent's are against bikes. Finally!! Then, we learn of other stuff that def turned me red just thinking of my parents telling me. Hahahaha!!! But, Jade, Eve & her mom start to plan a nice dinner for the guys after the MC run.
Harrison def starts to redeem himself in this short novella. Which I loved!! Ryder showed you a much, much softer gentler side to him. As well as his dirty, nasty freaky side. That'll never go away.
This bike run def brought the MC & Jade's family closer together. As well as a new MC Christmas tradition. It was such a cute book. And, an awesome refresher for me before continuing the series!!

Finally!! I been waiting for what seems like forever for this story. This story had so many stories in it. It showed you the story of the Malone twins Cobra and Daemon AKA Demon. It showed you the story of Cobra & Mia. It showed you Ryder & Mia. It showed you Cobra & Ryder and the rest of the MC. It was great because the other books in this series are in Ryder's POV. In all those books he always told you how much love Cobra & Mia had for each other. And, how Mia was his sister and how protective he was of her. But, I always wondered why that was or how'd it get that way. Well, be prepared because everything is answered!! Including the biggest question... Did they find/get Jamie back?!
Cobra was born 5 minutes before his twin bro Daemon was born. Daemon has despised being born 2nd and has never let Cobra or anybody forget it. He's pissed that Cobra is the next Scorpio Stingers President.Daemon has never liked Ryder. Ryder came into the club when Cobra saved his life in juvie. Daemon hates the fact that his father & MC prez Malone loves Ryder like a son.
Cobra gets to go to Mexico when he's 16. He gotta start learning everything about the MC as he can. He dad & MC President Malone is sick and is wanting his son to know everything before he passes him the MC. Cobra plans to go to Mexico do his thing and go home. He was wrong.
Cobra meets Mia who's 11 at the time and goes by a different name as well. They fall in love instantly. Yes, call me crazy. How can an 11yr old and a 16yr old fall in love? But, trust me...They do!!
Being this is Cobra & Mia POV you learn a lot. You see how much Cobra loves and values everyone of his brothers in the Scorpio Stingers. The love he has for Mia and his 2 children is the kind of love any woman would die to have. Mia shows you how close her & Ryder really are.Mia has always and only loved Cobra her life.
Mia is also is one of the strongest women I've read about in a long time! What she went through when she was younger. Then, to be with Cobra. If I was her I'd go through it all to if it meant to be with Cobra!! But, she's also got a secret. One she's kept quiet for awhile. But, when Jamie's taken she must tell her husband. The secret is a bomb. Nobody can believe it. Cobra and Ryder are seeing double!!
The close knit family are up against an upcoming war. Nothing is going to be pretty. They are all fighting against time. Cobra, Ryder, Harrison & Mia are trying to get Jamie back from Daemon. And, alive.Can they work together or separate. Either way they all have the same goal ending. Get Jamie back to Cobra & Mia alive!!
You want to read this! To see how Cobra & Mia met and fall in love. To see everything they went thru to be together. Then, seeing Mia forge a relationship with Ryder was awesome. Cobra is one fine sexy beast! He loves and worships his with 110% of himself. His children are his life. His brothers in his MC are more then just his MC brothers. They are his brothers for life. It hurts him deeply more deeply then he lets on that his own twin brother has that much hatred for him. My heart hurt for Cobra so many times. I couldn't wait for Cobra to get his hands on his brother. It really was nice to get the Scorpio Stingers MC President POV on it all.
