4.5 Stars
I absolutely loved reading 'Surrender to Me'! The story kept my interest the entire time, and when it was over it left me NEEDING more.  It wasn't your usual Rockstar romance where the guy was a bad boy womanizer who changed his ways for the girl. Lucas was all in all a really great guy straight from the beginning, which made it really hard not to fall head over heels for his character. Did he have his meaningless hook-ups in the past? Yes. But what seriously hot and single rockstar wouldn't? He is cautious however, and does not open up and let many people in, especially after just meeting them. But all that changes when he first meets Rebecca.

Rebecca was this sweet, down to earth girl who was working hard to get herself the hell out of her awful mothers house, and far far away from the town she lives in. With all the negatives which life has thrown her way, she still seems to see so much positive in the world. The second Rebecca and Lucas meet, you can just see the sparks leaping off the pages. This instant attraction seems to throw Rebecca off guard, and leaves her questioning all she thought she wanted.

"I look back at Luke and feel like he can either be my savior or my destruction."

Although the tempo in which their relationship progressed was extremely fast (and almost unbelievable), I will admit that many times I was so caught up in the story itself that I would forget just how short of a time they really had known each other. The chemistry between them was awesome, and the sex was smokin'!

Jackson and Samantha were two characters who really left me wanting to punch them in their faces. I could not stand them, yet loved having them in the story. It just wouldn't have been the same without them. Being that Lucas is touring with them, I am seriously hoping that the whole drama and rivalry between them will continue on, and the someone, anyone, will knock at least one of them on their asses! All I can say is Thank god for Rebecca's best friend Jenn who was absolutely frikkin hysterical. Her character helped me keep some of my sanity while I was blowing steam out of my ears from being angered by Jackson and Samantha.

This was a very quick read and I loved every second of it! I seriously cannot wait for book 2! It simply cannot get here fast enough!
