 ✯✯5 Epic Stars!!!✯✯

Every book in this series got more crazier and more intense. At the end of the last book my exact words out loud were "Holy Shit!!" and I could not wait to see what was in store for Jake & Haven as well as Ash,Luke & Beth the people that are closest to them. Before I start with this review I will tell you this. If you have NOT read the first 2 books then do NOT read this review!!

We pick up right where we left off. Jake has just comeback from his business trip. He is still trying to grasp the bomb that his evil ex Millie has dropped. She's pregnant with his child. And, he's madly in love with Haven. Haven has proven herself in the first 2 books to be  a runner. Jake has decided this is not the thing Haven needs to hear over the phone. If that wasn't bad enough. His dad has had a heart attack and his sister Beth is heading home which messed her up last time. Plus the start up of the new business. Jake can barely keep his head above water.

Haven surprisingly handles the whole pregnant Millie bomb good. I mean he didn't cheat on her. Jake wasn't afraid to tell her how much he loved her and that his future was with her. Haven really did try to deal with it the best way she could. I give her super amount of credit. I think it would be super hard for me. Jake being the good guy that he is tried doing things properly. But, I didn't the way   he handled it. He wanted to do good for his unborn child and for Haven. But, that Millie. What a piece of work she is!!

Haven did an excellent job at keeping for emotions in check when Jake was around. She'd never make him choose between her and Millie/unborn child. But, I felt like every single time he made the wrong decision!! Thank goodness for his sister Beth. She saw through it all and wasn't afraid to let him know her opinion.

But, what happens when Haven can't seem to handle it anymore. And, I didn't blame her. At all!! Haven always looked at the big picture. What was best for everyone in whichever situation it was. She did a lot of growing up from book one to now. She even made a decision involving her job at the magazine. Which..I did not see coming. But, was still very proud of her regardless.

There was so much packed into this novella. Even with that being said it wasn't too much and written perfectly. Louise Bay did an excellent job. Up until the end I was rooting for Jake & Angel to get back to where they belonged and get their HEA. Even though Beth & Ash aren't main characters they had a lot of growth in this book. I was happy with the big decisions they chose for themselves. Luke himself had told Angel some important stuff that she ended up really needing.

I know Ash's story is next. Which I hope has Luke in it. I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that she becomes friends with Jake's sister Beth. Because, that girl story must be told!! This story was written beautifully. And, was definitely on the top top top of the hot & sexy meter. Louise is on my must read author list!!

About the Author:

USA Today Bestselling Author Louise Bay writes sexy, contemporary romance novels – the kind she likes to read. Her books Faithful and Hopeful are stand-alone novels although there are some overlapping characters. Bestselling The Empire State Series of novellas starts with A Week in New York. My next series is What the Lightning Sees.
Ruined by romantic mini-series of the eighties, Louise loves all things romantic. There's not enough of it in real life so she disappears into the fictional worlds in books and films.
Louise loves the rain, the West Wing, London, days when she doesn’t have to wear make-up, being on her own, being with friends, elephants and champagne.

She loves to hear from readers so get in touch!
