Life meets death. The end meets the beginning.
Eighteen-year-old Isis Blake hasn’t fallen in love in three years, forty-three weeks, and two days. Or so she thinks.
The boy she maybe-sort-of-definitely loved has dropped off the face of the planet after his girlfriend's death, leaving a Jack-shaped hole. Determined to be happy, Isis fills it in with lies and puts on a brave smile for her new life at Ohio State University.
But how long can that smile last with all of her friends gone?
How long can it last with the guilt of Sophia's death crushing her?
And how long can it really last when Will Cavanaugh attends the same school, taunting her?
Isis is good at pretending everything is okay. But not that good. The cracks begin to show.
Isis Blake is good at putting herself back together.
But Jack Hunter is better.

**This is the third and final book in the LOVELY VICIOUS series.
✯✯5 Brutally Precious Stars!!✯✯
I been waiting forever to read Brutal Precious ever since I finished Savage Delight which was the second book in this crazy non-stop series. I knew that since Savage Delight ended with Sophia committing suicide that Isis, Jack, Kayla and Wren were never going to be the same. Man, was I right.
Jack AKA Ice Prince couldn't handle much. Once the funeral was over so was he. It didn't matter how much Isis tried.Nobody was going to get through to him. Jack being Jack did things his way. Took off. Left some notes telling people not to worry and never looked back. He went from being an escort in Lovely Vicious to now being an information gatherer. Working for some crazy mafia type people. He gets a job. A job that if he does well he'll get a nice promotion. He must go back to college. He will be looking for some hackers. The face in the folder throws him for a loop. Will Cavanaugh AKA Nameless to Isis.
Isis is trying to move on in her life as well. Don't worry though. She's still the same loud mouth, witty don't put up with crap Isis. She's decided to stay closer to her mother. Even though her mother is getting better she doesn't want to risk being too far away. Isis can't stand being away from her mom, Kayla and Wren. She misses Jack terribly. When/if she sees him again she's not sure if she's going to hug him or decapitate him. Or both in Isis fashion!! Hahaha
Isis heads off to college and is quickly face-to-face with Nameless!! He doesn't take long to start going in on her. Until he turns around and runs into a brick wall. Jack. Isis can't believe her eyes. First Nameless now Jack. Even Jack. Isis wasn't supposed to be here.
Isis and Jack are so confused. They weren't expecting to see the other one. Jack has a job to do. Bring Will and his partner down. Jack is good at his job. No matter what his job is. Having Isis back isn't helping. She's making everything hard. He can't concentrate on his job when he's worried about keeping her safe. Jake is in love with Isis. But, after what happened with Sophia he won't act on his feelings.
Isis won't even believe the feelings that she has. No matter what Kayla and everyone around sees. Isis wants to believe Jack doesn't want her. Not like that anyway. They decide to be friends. Start over. Whether that means torturing each other or hanging out. They must be together somehow.
This book is non-stop. Just when I thought I'd seen it all. Isis and Jack proved me wrong. Jack can't stay away from Isis no matter how hard he tries. Isis tries to show she's not jealous of who Jack sees. Even if just for work to get information he needs. They both fail. Miserably!!!
There was a lot of stuff explained in this book. ESP from that night so long ago. The night with Kayla,Wren, Avery, Sophia and Jack. What actually happened?
You won't be disappointed with this book. The only 2 things I'd change was Wren. Yes, Kayla talked about him a lot. That was it though. He was MIA. I hated that. I felt like the end was rushed. The epilogue I smh the whole time. It was all out of left field. How Jake & Isis got where they were, doing what they were doing or how it came about. None of it was explained. But, I still loved the ending.
