Title: Forever Ride (A Hellions Ride, #2)
Author: Chelsea Camaron
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: June 9, 2014
Synopsis
Events happen in life that can awaken our truest and deepest desires. They also show us our greatest fears. Sometimes we are forced to face those fears, other times we build walls that can't be broken to protect ourselves.
A profound connection these two once shared. A strong friendship once formed was shattered. Fate has stepped in and shaken both their worlds.
The danger, the wild, the chaos, and the lifestyle of the Hellions world has become far too much for Savannah 'Sass' Perchton. Swearing off bikers and attempting a 'normal' life, she has settled. She's committed to Nick, her country club, pretty boy. She's found a way to be content.
Things aren't always what they seem. Wrap an empty box in pretty paper and a bow, it may look amazing, but it's still a hollow shell.
He's a Hellions playboy. A different chick in his bed, off on a different ride, and always something new. He's Frank the 'Tank' Oleander, Haywood's Hellions Road Chief. Throttle down and life is good.
The fast pace of the Hellions life catches up to him. At a crossroads, he's forced to face some life changing thoughts or succumb to the darkness of death. Teetering on the brink of giving in, her voice is all he's holding onto. The coma he can't pull himself out of, but her voice is the light in the darkness. He wants the girl who pulled him through when his life was literally in the balance.
She's sworn off bikers. Can he pull through? Can she ever see past the lifestyle to the heart of the man behind the cut? Will they find their Forever Ride?
4 stars!
I have one word and one word only…. TANK!!!!!
After reading One Ride (Book 1), I was left, like most others, yanking my hair out of my head. I could not believe Chelsea had ended the book like that, and I needed to know what was to become of Tank. Would he live? Would he die? THANK GOD this was answered… although it did take quite a while to find out what happens to him. Sometimes while reading Chelsea's books I seriously believe that she just loves to torture her readers (in a keep you on the edge of your seat way). With all that being said, Forever Ride was yet another great book by Chelsea Camaron!
The story began where One Ride left off. Tank was in a coma, and it seemed as if he would never come out of it. Sass, while connected to the club through her father, wanted to get as far away from the lifestyle as possible. She waned to live a normal life without having to look over her shoulder. She cares for Tank and continues to visit him in the hospital while he is stuck in this coma, but is dating pretty boy Nick. The further she pushes herself into this relationship, the less she is there for Tank. It was maddening to see her go from the sassy little thing she was in book 1, to the scared little girl in book 2. Being with Nick changed her, and not for the better. Being that she was weak from all the events which happened, she allowed him to basically dictate her life and mold her into what he felt was the perfect little toy. I hated seeing her become a hollow shell of her former self. She continued to run from a dangerous past, but it seemed like she was running into something even more dangerous.
One of the things that I loved in this book was how you still were able to get some POV from Tank even though he was unconscious. Knowing what he was going through and thinking inside his head while not being able to control his body and wake up was heartbreaking. His mind wanted one thing, while his body did another… which made him a prisoner to his own body. I loved seeing a slightly softer side of this big bad ass biker, and really wanted to just jump in the book and give him a hug. He was always a fighter, and even though he was in a coma for a large majority of the book, you still saw him continue to fight through it all.
Forever Ride was a bit different from One Ride. Where book 1 had a whole lot of in your face action, book two did not have this. It was more of an emotional ride rather than a bite your nails until it hurts one. This for me was both a plus and a negative. I must admit I was expecting a little more oomph from this book. Book 1 had been SO strong, so I was a little disappointed that book 2 did not follow in the same footsteps. Now, this in NO ways made Forever Ride a bad read. It was actually very well written and had a good storyline and kept you guessing as to what was going to happen. I just personally would have liked the excitement level to be a little higher than it was. That is my ONLY complaint. And yes, I still really really liked the book! I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on the next part of this series!

~Tank~
She’s in my arms, her body draped across mine. I have not slept one bit.
We left the kitchen after the barbeque and came back to my room on the compound. I have one of the duplexes that really is all my own. My roommates are all married, so usually the place is empty except for me. With the charter clubs here, I have a few people staying over, but they don’t care that Sass is in my bed.
Last night was nothing short of incredible. The hellcat likes it rough and everywhere. I lost count of the orgasms between us. Thinking of it, my dick is ready again. I am sure her pussy needs a break, though. Her ass, too.
Reality hits me like a sledge hammer.
I fucked my brother’s daughter. My boss’s daughter. I fucked one of the untouchable two.
Worse, though, I fucked my friend. Never cross that line. There is no going back. I live my life with no regrets, the words tattooed across my lower stomach, reminding me and every female that goes low, there will be no regrets. Only now, I have gone too far. I don’t regret last night—it was the best damn night I have ever shared with someone—but it shouldn’t have happened.
Looking at her red hair lying across my chest, the contrast against the colors of my tattoos, I don’t want to move. I don’t want this to end, but it must.
Each breath she takes tickles my nipple piercing, reminding me of each bite and tug her mouth gave them mere hours ago. How can I go back to the way things were between us? Every time I see her I’m going to want nothing more than to be balls deep once again.
Maybe with enough space, fresh air, and distance everything will go back to normal. Yeah, normal, that’s what I need.
Smacking her ass playfully, I wake her up. Abruptly, I move out from under her, standing by the bed, watching as she takes in her surroundings and remembers last night.
It’s time to make my clean escape. I make my way to my bathroom, calling out over my shoulder to her, “Time to say goodbye. Gather your stuff up. You found your way to my bed, you can find your way out the damn door.”
About the Author
Chelsea Camaron was born and raised in Coastal North Carolina. She currently resides in Southern Louisiana with her husband and two children but her heart is always Carolina day dreaming.
Chelsea always wanted to be a writer, but like most of us, let fear of the unknown grab a hold of her dream; she realized that if she was going to tell her daughter to go for her dreams, that it was time to follow her own advice.
Chelsea grew up turning wrenches alongside her father, and from that grew her love for old muscle cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles, which just so happened to inspired her ‘Daddy’s Girls’ series. Her love for reading has sparked a new love for writing and she currently has a few more projects in the works.
When she is not spending her days writing you can find her playing with her kids, attending car shows, going on motorcycle rides on the back of her husband’s Harley, snuggling down with her new favorite book or watching any movie that Vin Diesel might happen to be in.
She hates being serious and is still a big kid at heart. She is a small town country girl enjoying life and, Chelsea hopes that her readers remember not to take life too seriously and to embrace your inner five year old, because five year olds know how to enjoy the simple things in life and how to always have fun.
