✯✯5 Kane & Ivy Filled Stars!!!✯✯
Ever since I finished Knox and Haleigh’s book I was dying to get Kane’s Bc he totally deserved a HEA after loosing the girl, his best friend Haleigh to his twin brother. I was hoping whoever it was he fell for deserved him and boom. In walks Haleigh’s younger sister, Ivy who just happens to have had a crush on Kane Bishop her entire life but he only had eyes on her sister. But, since they’re sharing a nephew Ivy’s going to make Kane see her for more than his best friend’s younger sister.
This relationship started off slow Bc they haven’t seen each other in year’s since Ivy’s been off at college. But, now that she’s back and Kane’s eyes are open he sees Ivy for the beautiful women she is. Unfortunately, Kane has a girlfriend but it doesn’t last long and he’s been getting the vibes that Ivy’s been putting out and he’s all for it.
Ivy’s young and the only boyfriend she’s ever had has been in the books she’s read. Kane knows and respects it and respects how fast or slow they go. He’ll let her be in control of the speed. Ivy has wanted Kane all her life so she’s enjoying the time they’re spending together but for the moment they decide to keep the news about them being a them to each other for a bit longer until they know exactly what it is they are.
OMG I absolutely loved seeing these two go from somewhat friends to being full blown in love. I thought Knox was freaky. But, Kane has him beat and I think Miss Quiet Ivy had them both beat LOL.
Grandma Bishop is still my favorite scene stealer in EVERY Bishop book I read and her costume is probably my favorite so far LOL.
I’m looking forward to Knox and Kane’s sisters book but sad Bc it’s the end of the Bishop’s. I do wish Kennedy Fox would write one more and make it a prequel to the 2-Bishop series we have and give us Grandma & Grandpa Bishop’s love story.

We became a secret that neither of us could keep. A devastating secret that would destroy everything.
The Temptation of Dirty Secrets, the highly-anticipated conclusion to The Seduction of Pretty Lies Duet from bestselling author Holly Renee is available now!
Captivating. Vulnerable. Agonizing. Seductive. Frankie Clermont was supposed to be like a sister to me for as long as I’d known her.
But no one knew the depths of our lies.
I had been in love with her before… before everything changed what we could be.
Undeniably connected and effortlessly infatuated, the two of us had remained each other’s weaknesses through everything.
I couldn’t afford to allow her to be my weakness anymore. I was in love with someone else. I was engaged.
But it didn’t matter how much time had passed, the moment I saw her again, I knew I would never escape her.
I never should have touched her again. Whispering her name in the dark was a mistake.
She was still everything I wanted and nothing I should have had.
We became a secret that neither of us could keep. A devastating secret that would destroy everything.
✯✯5 Tear Jerking Filled Stars!!!✯✯
Wow talk about saving the best for last!! I been waiting for Frankie and Olly to get their HEA since book one of this series and when I finished The Seduction of Pretty Lies I knew it wasn’t going to be easy for them to get it.
We pick up right where we left off. Olly realizing Frankie has left him in the middle of the night. Frankie’s hurt that Olly chose Beck and their friendship over her.
An entire year passes and they’ve had minimal contact. Olly is trying to fake it till he makes and Frankie’s doing that same thing. Even though they’ve technically moved on but in reality they’re still in the same place they were in and that’s still wanting to be with the other one. But, Bc Frankie doesn’t trust Olly to not hurt her again they spend one night together and go their separate ways.
Over the next year these two continue to pretend like they are doing great and that they’re in happy relationships. These two continue checking in with each other with phone calls and every time gets harder and harder Bc they miss each other and both wish things were different but they’re both too stubborn to give into what they both want.
I was dying while reading this book Bc I didn’t know if Olly and Frankie would ever get their HEA. I’m not going to lie there was a ton of times I was crying Bc these two were crazy in love but their pride made them not give into what they both truly wanted and by doing that they not only hurt themselves and each other but they dragged two other people in and it went on for way to long.
I was hoping and praying that Beck would open up his eye’s and see that Bc of his actions and demand’s that two people he loved were hurting and that he’d do the right thing. He definitely made me smile but ugh he sure did take his sweet time.
I’m in love with this couple, this group of friend’s and series and I’m so sad that it’s ending. I’m excited to see what Holly Renee releases next.
Excerpt from The Seduction of Pretty Lies, Book One
Prologue Olly
Two Years Earlier
God, she was so pretty. I clenched my hand at my side to avoid reaching out and touching her. She was also too young for me and she was my best friend’s little sister, but neither of those things seemed to matter when I was looking at her. I was always looking at her, but she was looking at him. Lucas grinned at her from across the table, and a soft blush bloomed across her cheeks. He was one of my best friends too, but I wanted to kill him when he looked at her like that. My stomach hardened as I watched them. I knew I didn’t have the right. She wasn’t mine, but for some reason, she felt like it. She had felt like it for far longer than I liked to admit. “What are you up to today, Frankie?” She pulled her attention away from Lucas long enough to look over at me. “Not a whole lot. I thought I might go for a swim before the party tonight. You’re going, right?” “Yeah.” I nodded. “I’ll be there.” “Good.” She smiled at me as she leaned against her hand. “What about you, Lucas? Are you going to be there?” I clenched my teeth as I waited for his response. He always treated Frankie as if she wasn’t important. He treated her like she wasn’t the most important person in the room even though she looked at him like he was the most crucial thing in her life. “Of course.” He rubbed his hands together as he talked, but he was barely looking at her. “I need to get fucked up or laid tonight.” Frankie’s shoulder slumped the smallest bit, and she looked away before either of us could see her face. A face I knew she was attempting to school to hide her hurt. “Real classy, Lucas.” I rolled my eyes because even though I had been friends with Lucas for what felt like forever, I still didn’t see what Frankie saw in him. I was beginning to wonder why I was friends with him at all. “Come on, Frankie. Let’s go hit the beach before the party.”
“Okay.” She nodded and stood from her seat. “Let me grab my suit.” As soon as she left the kitchen, Lucas leaned back in his chair and chuckled. “What the fuck is wrong with you?” I glared at him. “What’s wrong with you?” He laughed harder. “You look like a lovesick puppy over Beck’s little sister when you can get any pussy you want in the entire school. Don’t let a piece of ass make you look so pathetic.” “Don’t fucking talk about her like that.” My pulse was racing as I clenched my fists at my sides. “You have no idea…” “What are you assholes talking about?” Beck interrupted us as he walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple off the island. “Trying to get Olly laid.” Lucas smirked, and my fingers tingled with the urge to knock it off his face. “It’s about damn time.” Beck wrapped an arm over my shoulder and laughed. “You’ve been a little tense.” “Fuck you both.” I shrugged Beck off me just as Frankie came back around the corner. She was wearing a simple black bikini, but I couldn’t look away. “Hey, you ready?” She held a towel against her stomach, and I watched as her eyes flashed over to Lucas before looking back at me. “Yeah. Let’s go.” I opened the back door and waited for her to walk through. This was Frankie’s house, but I felt like I knew it as well as my own. I practically lived here most days. Frankie walked in front of me, and I stared at the soft slope of her back as she pushed through the back gate and out onto the sand.

Real Players Never Lose by Micalea Smeltzer is now live!
I've heard the whispers on campus of what a player Teddy McCallister is. Most girls on campus are vying to be the one, but guys like him don't settle down.
When he overhears that my tuition has been pulled and I'm going to basically be a college reject he makes me an offer I can't refuse.
Be his fake girlfriend until graduation so he can get his inheritance.
It seems simple enough. I need the money and he needs someone to make him look committed.
If one thing is certain, it's that I won't be falling for him. But no one warned me about what happens when my fake boyfriends starts to fall for me.
✯✯5 Teddy & Vanessa Filled Stars!!!✯✯
Argh I’ve been waiting for Teddy’s book for forever!!! When reading Nice Guys Don’t Win every time he called Zoey and Cole mom and dad he had me LOL. I was ready for this book!!
All last book Teddy kept mentioning he needed to behave or he’d loose his inheritance but he never mentioned anything else.
Teddy’s family comes from old money that they want for nothing. He spent his life away at boarding school. His father used him as a punching bag for most of his life and his mom keeps her head down.
He’s lived a lonely life. Since he’s gone to college and made friends, who’ve become the family he’s always wanted.
Teddy has six months left to graduate and he can finally walk away from his father. After another argument with his dad Teddy lies and tells him he has a girlfriend. Now Teddy’s got to find a girlfriend and be at his parent’s house for dinner that weekend.
Vanessa’s life hasn’t been easy. Her sister and her boyfriend made her high school years terrible and her parents overlooked it.
Vanessa’s going to college on a full scholarship. She’s writing hard so she doesn’t have to go back home after graduation.
After break Vanessa heads back to her dorm. She had six months left to graduate. When she gets back she finds out that her scholarship has been revoked.
Vanessa’s not sure what she’s gonna do next. Unfortunately for her the schools playboy Teddy McCallister was standing behind her and heard everything so she runs off.
Teddy stops Vanessa from running off. Teddy tells Vanessa he can help her. He’ll pay the last six months of her school if she’ll pretend to be his girlfriend both on campus and around his parents. They need each other so it’s a win-win for them both.
Neither Vanessa or Teddy were prepared to not only become such good friends but to fall in love with the other one.
Teddy wasn’t afraid to tell her that he fell for her and wanted everything with her. Vanessa couldn’t understand her feeling’s the way that he did. She didn’t have any friend’s other than him.
Teddy continued to show her his feeling’s for her every time he could.
While they were in Greece on a mandatory vacation with his parents everything changed. Vanessa finally took her blindfold off and saw how Teddy really felt about her and she didn’t hold back her feelings for him.
Just when they thought they were in the next step of their relationship thing’s changed. Vanessa has no choice but to give up Teddy and their happiness. She won’t let him loose what they were fighting for him to keep. Teddy doesn’t know what made her runaway so quickly. But, he won’t give up on Vanessa so easily.
I legit loved Teddy in Zoey and Cole’s book. But, OMG he took my heart in this book and I swear he can keep it.
I wish Vanessa would’ve opened up earlier to him about her true feeling’s but she really did love him and proved it by making sure if she couldn’t have him that he’d get what he rightfully deserved.
Teddy legit wore his heart on his sleeve. Between his joking and goofing around to hide the hurt got to me. I love how he baked when stressed LOL.
It was great catching up with mom and dad aka Zoey and Cole as well as getting more of Mascen.
I’m really hoping Jude gets a book Bc my goodness. He’s got a serious heartbreak and if he doesn’t find his HEA I’m afraid he’ll catch an STD from all the girls he’s sleeping with.

He tries to ignore her, but their chemistry is undeniable.
Elizabeth Bishop can’t stand her boss or how he treats her, but there aren’t many job options in small-town Texas. No matter what she does, it’s never good enough for Connor, but she continues trying to impress him anyway.
She’ll never admit she’s attracted to him and denies it every chance she gets.
Avoiding him is impossible, but Elle keeps her distance whenever possible. After his walls start to crumble, she knows her feelings aren’t one-sided. She’s tired of playing his games and is ready to prove who’s really in control.

**Bossing the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**
✯✯5 Connor & Elle Filled Stars!!!✯✯
Finally!!! I’ve been waiting for Elle and Connor’s story since Hitching The Cowboy. Every book in the Circle B Ranch Series you see a little bit more of them. Every time they popped up I wanted their story more.
Connor Wallen is going thru a divorce and has gotten his vet clinic off and going. I’d that wasn’t hard enough but one night he comes home to find out his soon to-be-ex has packed up their daughter’s stuff and moved them 4hrs away.
The only reason why Connor agreed to talking to Elizabeth AKA Elle Bishop about an intern position was Bc of her Grandma Rose. The min Connor see’s Elle he knows he should send her on her way. She’s def bad news for him. He’s already dealing with a messy divorce, custody and Elle makes him loose his breathe with one look. He’s 8yrs older than her and can’t risk doing something stupid. Connor hires her but decides to keep thing’s 100% professional and at arm’s length.
Elle Bishop has always wanted to be a veterinarian. She was excited when Connor took her on and taught her. She’s learned so much from him. Elle’s not blind she can see how gorgeous he is but 99.999% of the time he’s a complete tool to her. She’s not sure why but she just goes with the flow.
This book has duel POV and we go from their first meeting in the prologue. Kennedy Fox does an amazing job at writing what’s going on and then the next chapter or paragraph the time jump’s till we’re at the end of Wrangling The Cowboy where Elle learns Connor has a daughter.
When Connor starts letting Elle into the parts of him that he’s kept to himself thing’s definitely take a turn. They’ve been so attracted to each other but kept it to themselves. Now that everything’s out there it’s either they’re in or out Bc neither one wanna play games. Needless to say they’re both in and not looking back.
I’ve been rooting for Connor and Elle for so long. Thing’s definitely weren’t easy for them. But, it was worth the wait. This two are perfect together!!
It’s always nice seeing the rest of the Bishop family. Sometimes depending on the time frame you might be at a party or girl’s night that we’ve been to before but you’re getting a different POV. I love it!!
Now, I’m all ready for Ethan and Harper!! I’m hoping Ethan doesn’t get his heart broken and loose his best friend and his crush in an instant.

Seven days to find myself a wife, or my best friend gets my company.
All because of a stupid, drunken bet.
Charming a woman into marrying me should be easy.
And it would’ve been,
if Jake wasn’t doing everything in his power to sabotage me,
like stranding me on a boat full of horny pensioners—including our moms.
But Jake’s little sister, Liv, tagged along.
Under any other circumstance, I’d never go there.
But if he’s going to play dirty,
then so am I.
LIV
I haven’t seen Ben since I was fourteen years old.
Until last night, when he tried picking me up in a bar.
He had no idea who I was then, but he certainly knows now.
Second chances don’t come around often,
but I don’t think I’m supposed to take this one.
He’s my brother’s best friend, and he’s off-limits.
No matter how much I want to go there.
✯✯ Ben & Liv Filled Stars!!!✯✯
Finally!! I feel like I’ve waited forever for Missy Johnson to hit publish again. Her last series Awkward Love use to have me Lmao and her books before that had me ugly crying. There’s never been a book of hers that didn’t end up on my favorite read shelf. All or Nothing was no different.
Ben has worked hard to get where he is today. When his grandfather passed away and left him his business Ben had a lot to prove to everybody; his employees, clients and father that he might be young but he’s the right guy for the job. All his hard work paid off.
Ben wake’s up hungover one morning to find out he made the biggest mistake of his life. His life long friend Jake and him made a bet that Ben could find a wife within seven days and he can’t flash his money around either to help his case and if he’s not married by the end of day seven Jake gets his business.
Ben knows Jake will 100% take his business without caring. He knows he could take Jake to court but it’ll end up in the media and it’ll get ugly and he’d loose the trust of his clients. Either way Ben will loose the company he’s worked so hard for.
Ben thought he knew Jake would play dirty to get the win. With the week almost over and Jake got Ben stuck on a cruise ship with their mothers and the cruise is specifically set up for single citizens looking for love he’s screwed.
Until he notices Jake’s younger sister Olivia AKA Liv. Ben hasn’t seen her in five years after her mom sent her to Australia to live with her father. Ben had heard about the rumors of him and her all those years ago but knew they weren’t true so he didn’t think anything of it.
Ben finds himself attracted to Liv. It would be a win-win for him. Marry her and get to keep his business. Ben couldn’t ask for anything better. Until his feelings turn real for Liv and he’d hate to marry her to win the bet and end up losing her in the end.
Liv is back in the states after being shipped to her dads in Australia five years earlier. She didn’t wanna go and now she doesn’t wanna be back. But, in order to get her trust that was left for her she must comeback to graduate college.
Liv’s mom doesn’t trust her to leave her alone for the weekend so she drags her in a cruise for single senior’s. Liv talks her best friend Tara into going with her and was shocked to see Ben. Her brothers good friend or so she thought.
Liv tries hiding from Ben but it proves to not be an easy thing to do as their 2 of the 3 youngest on the boat lol.
Liv finds out from Ben quick about the predicament he’s in bc of her brother (not shocking) and Jake demands she tell him everything Ben is doing but to stay far away from him. Famous last words.
Liv can’t stay away from Ben. Even though her brother and mom say to. She was sent away years ago bc there was a rumor about her and Ben. Even though they were rumors, Liv didn’t say anything bc she was trying to protect somebody else. She thought she was doing the right thing but at 15 things aren’t at all as they seem.
When Liv is about to jump in head first and help Ben beat her brother she hears something and she plans to run. If only she asked questions things would be easier for them both.
I read this in one evening. There were some parts I was Lmao and other parts my heart hurt for Liv. I absolutely disliked Jake!! I kinda guessed why he acted the way he did. Just couldn’t figure out why he didn’t ask questions and waited so long.
I do hope Jake gets a story bc he redeemed himself and after everything deserves a HEA. I’d love some more Tara as well.
The relationship between Ben and Claudia had me Lmao in the very beginning and by the epilogue had me cheesing wife and tearing up. It truly was special.
I’m really looking forward to Missy Johnson’s next release. The wait was totally worth it.
I jump at the sound of the sexy British accent coming from behind me in the next booth. There’s a familiarity to his voice that catches me off guard, but I can’t quite place where I know it from. I swallow, because Tara wasn’t kidding about the accent thing and this guy sounds like a snack.
Oh shit. Tara. He must’ve been eavesdropping on our conversation.
“What theory is that?” I ask, both annoyed and embarrassed.
Then I tell myself off for getting ahead of myself, because I don’t even know for sure he overheard our conversation—
“The one where your will panties soak at the sound of my accent.”
Okay. Now I’m sure.
“What, no response?” he teases. “We can talk about something else if you want. Like how your friend abandoned you?”
“She’s getting our drinks,” I reply.
“This has got to be the longest drink collection in history,” he remarks. “And I’m pretty sure I saw her disappear around the back with the guy behind the bar.”
I’m not sure whether to believe him or not, but she has been gone awhile, and I’m more than a little worried she’s been kicked out for being underaged.
Me: Did you get caught?
Tara: Sorry. Distracted. Turns out Germans really do have long tongues ;)
I groan inwardly and set my phone down on the table.
Way, way too much information.
“Yeah, she’s abandoned me,” I grumble.
“I guess I’ll join you, then.”
I sit straight upright, because suddenly, he’s right there, sliding into my booth across from me. My eyes widen, because this isn’t just some random guy trying to hit on me. It’s Ben, my brother’s best friend, the source of the rumors all those years ago, and the one person I didn’t want to run into. Ever.
I silently curse Tara for choosing this bar of all places, and then I hold my breath and wait for the recognition to spark in his eyes, but it doesn’t. I stare right at him and he smiles back, his lopsided grin enough to send my heart into overdrive. My heart thumps as it hits me.
He has no idea who I am.
“Are you okay?”
I jump at the sound of his voice and force myself to nod.
That accent sounds so fake now that I know it’s Ben. I have to stop myself from laughing. Is this what he does, hang around in bars, pretending to be someone he isn’t just so he can pick up? I shiver at the thought of going home with him, because silly accent aside, he’s still the sexiest thing I’ve ever seen.
He’s even hotter than he was the last time I saw him, which was almost six years ago. Those intense green eyes feel like they’re penetrating my soul and every now and then he casually rakes his long fingers through his dark, short cropped hair. When he rubs his lightly stubbled jaw, I lean forward as my nipples harden against the raw silk of my top.
“Cold?” he smirks.
I go red.
He nods at my arms in explanation. “Goosebumps.”
Oh.
“I’m Ben, by the way.”
“I’m…Louise,” I finish, using my middle name instead of Liv.
“Louise,” he repeats, my name rolling off his tongue. I swallow, because my middle name has never sounded so sexy. “So, you’re alone and I’m alone …”
“It appears that way,” I squeak.
“So…” His eyes meet mine. “No panties, huh?”
Oh god.
I’m so embarrassed. I look away and immediately wish I hadn’t. My heart races as I spot Jake walking toward the exit. When he stops and turns around, I do the only thing I can think of; slide under the table until I’m on the floor, much to the amusement of Ben.
He peers down between his legs, a smirk on his lips, like he’s trying to work out what the hell I’m doing. My face flames, because God only knows what he’s thinking—probably that all his dreams are about to come true.
“I’m not going to lie, this has taken a turn I wasn’t expecting,” he admits.
“Don’t flatter yourself,” I snap, my face even redder. “I dropped an earring.”
Really? That’s what I’m going with?
“You dropped an earring?” he repeats, a bemused smile on his face. “Is that even a thing? Do earrings really pop out at the most inconvenient of moments that leave you crouching between the legs of your date?” He leans down so we’re face to face. “Funny, looks to me like you have both earrings where they should be.”
“Date?” I chortle, conveniently ignoring his observation. “When did this become a date?”
“When your friend abandoned you and I felt obligated to step in?” he suggests.
