✯Release Review✯Friends With Benedicts by Staci Hart

Friends With Benedicts, a brand new, heart felt rom-com from Staci Hart, is finally LIVE!! Who's reading? Grab your copy today from your favorite online book retailer!

Amazon | AppleBooks | Kobo | B&N

Timing is everything.

Presley Hale and Sebastian Vargas are no strangers to goodbye. Their high school summers were spent wrapped up in each other until she would inevitably go home to California. One season after college, Sebastian finally escaped the little Texas town to travel the world, and they said goodbye for what they thought might be the last time.

Sebastian went one way. Presley went the other.

For the first time in five years, they’re both in town, but the timing is no better than ever. So the only thing to do is what they do best. Keep it casual.

Friends with benefits.

They’ve done it before—doing it again will be easy.

But their hearts don’t get the memo.

When the lines of their arrangement blur, Presley and Sebastian are faced with decisions they’ve avoided for years. And that’s not even their biggest problem.

A small town in danger of failing.

A secret that could tear them apart.

And two hearts that can’t hide anymore.

They’ve shared so many summers, but none compare to what they’ll face.

Timing is everything.

And their time is almost up.

✯✯5 Sebastian & Presley Filled Stars!!!✯✯

Eek finally!!! I been waiting for Presley’s story since Staci Hart released Bet The Farm. I fell in love with her and her daughter Priscilla and wanted more of them.

Presley grew up spending the summer’s hanging out with her cousin’s in Lindenbach, Texas. It was there she met Sebastian. Every summer they became friends with benefits and when the summer ended so did they until the next year. It’s been four years and nine month’s since she’s seen him last.

Presley’s moved back to Texas with her sick mom and daughter Bc they’ve fallen on hard times. Presley heard through her cousin’s that Sebastian is back for the summer. With the exception of her mom, Presley’s never told anybody who her daughter Cilla’s dad was. She tried getting a hold of Sebastian but him being on the other side of the country in the Peace Corps wasn’t easy.  Presley knows that’s the first thing she plan’s on doing.

Sebastian couldn’t wait to get away from his hometown. He’s comeback whenever his mom or grandma needed him. When his mom got sick he ended up marrying an old girlfriend from school.

Sebastian doesn’t want children. Not that he doesn’t want them but Bc he carries the gene that causes cancer and he’d hate to pass that down. It’s ultimately what’s caused the end of his marriage.

Seb has found out that his Presley’s moved back and he can’t wait to see her and gets his hands on her. He’s shocked to learn that he has a daughter. Instead of running away he jumps head first into being a dad.

Seb and Presley decide they’ll spend the summer as they’ve always done before. ESP since Seb has had plans to go back to work for the Peace Corps. The more time he’s spending with Presley and Cilla the harder it’s getting to leave them.

Nether Seb or Presley know what to do. Presley wants him to stay with her and Cilla but she doesn’t want to tell him Bc she wants him to decide it. Seb want’s Presley to tell him to stay.

If that was the biggest thing these two had to worry about it would be easy. Sebastian’s soon-to-be ex-father-in-law who’s the Mayor of the town wants to bring in a big chain supermarket that’ll ruin their town. Most of Main Street will loose their business’s and the town will go under. Sebastian and Presley refuse to let that happen.

Once I started this I couldn’t put it down. These two are perfect for each other and I almost pulled my hair out waiting for them to stop waiting for the other one to make the decision.

I’m excited Presley’s cousins the Blum sister’s getting their own series. Bc, my goodness their reasoning for not getting married made me scratch my head LOL.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

✯Release Review✯The Wives by Tarryn Fisher

🔥🔥 NEW RELEASE 🔥🔥

THE WIVES by Tarryn Fisher is LIVE!!!

“You’ll have whiplash until the very end.”—New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover
New York Times bestselling author Tarryn Fisher delivers a pulse-pounding, fast-paced suspense novel that will leave you breathless. A thriller you won’t be able to put down!
Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she’s so crazy about him.
But one day, she finds something. Something that tells a very different—and horrifying—story about the man she married.
What follows is one of the most twisted, shocking thrillers you’ll ever read.
You’ll have to grab a copy to find out why.

✯✯5 Crazy Stars!!!✯✯

This is my first book by Tarryn Fisher and it’s definitely NOT going to be my last!! I was hooked from the blurb and hoped the book was as good as the blurb and it totally was.

Thursday loves her husband Seth. But their marriage isn’t conventional and isn’t for everyone. Seth is married to Thursday and two other women. Yes, they’re in a plural marriage. Only Thursday doesn’t know Seth’s other wives. She doesn’t know anything about them other then they all share Seth. She doesn’t even know their names. They’re referred as “Monday” and “Tuesday” and Thursday’s OK with it. Or so she thought.

When Thursday sees a paper for a Dr’s appointment in Seth’s pocket for a “Hannah” she wonders is that Tuesday’s real name. Thursday decides to do a drive-by to get a glimpse of what she looks like. Even though that’s totally against Seth’s rules she figures what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.

Thursday bumps into Hannah and realize they’re total opposites, from their looks to how they’re living and even how Seth treats them both.

That one conversation with Hannah makes Thursday question everything about herself, her marriage and everything about Seth. Thursday wants answers from Seth but isn’t sure she’s ready or can handle the answers.

Once I opened my kindle I couldn’t put it down until I finished! I legit couldn’t figure out what was going to happen next or what was real or who/what was fake or lying.

I’ve always loved thrillers and suspense books. It’s why Stephen King has always been one of my favorite authors for as long as I can remember. I’ve been reading a lot of romance and fantasy/paranormal books for awhile now. So getting a chance to read this book was such a great treat. I’ve forgotten how much I love this genre and that I need to start reading it more often.

✯Release Review✯Untwist (Unbound Trilogy #3) by Kathy Coopmans

Title: Untwist
Series: The Unbound Trilogy, Book 3
Author: Kathy Coopmans
Genre: Contemporary Romance

I waited ten years to grasp hold of a woman I knew was too good to be mine.
Back then, I had failed her. But I knew, somehow, someway, unknowingly to her, I’d find a way to make it up to her.
All the years in between, I watched her from afar. Keeping her safe, protecting her from the shadows that crept in the deep, dark of the night.
Then, out of the blue, she unraveled me with one sweep of her innocent little tongue.
The woman drew me straight toward all her light.
Blinding.
Intoxicatingly.
Mine.
It didn’t take long for me to come undone. Fall in love and change the course of my life.
Ellie Wynn had untwisted me from leading a lifestyle that should have never been mine.
Then fate gave us a crash course about how not all good things come to those who wait.
I’d failed her once again.
This time, her life is on the line.

✯✯5 Untwisted Stars!!!✯✯
I’m strung up because of it. I’m tumbling down because I should have known, the shadow that lurked in the night would steal her from me, in a blink of an eye.
And, now, I’m left to wonder how much can a person take before they break?

This is the last book in The Unbound Series and omg what an ending!! You definitely must read the first two books in this series before you read this.

We pickup exactly where we left off. Shadow’s lied about his release date and he’s came for Logan and Ellie. Caught them by surprise. He’s shot Logan and left him for dead and taken Ellie but not before she fought for Logan.

Logan knew he should’ve killed Shadow years ago and he’s regretted it ever since. Logan doesn’t plan on making that mistake again. But until he gets that chance he’s gotta take it easy. Logan’s been shot and his younger brothers and closest allies are banding together to find and get Ellie back home and serve up Shadow on a silver platter to Logan. Logan just has to be patient which he’s not known for doing.

Ellie has lived in fear bc of Shadow since he entered her life and ESP since the night he attacked her. Ever since meeting Logan her entire life changed. She doesn’t want to love her life afraid and alone anymore. Ellie loves the light, happiness and strength Logan brought into her life. Ellie refuses to believe Logan died. She can feel him still and until he comes to rescue her she won’t backdown to Shadow and fight him off every chance she gets.

Ellie is one strong woman. She never saw herself as strong and never stood up to her fears. Once Logan entered her life Ellie’s backbone came out and she embraced it. She fought and stood up for both herself as well for Logan.

Logan’s always been a protector. He’s always looked after his brothers since they were younger. He even took over his fathers business that he never wanted. Protecting Ellie was no different. Logan has also loved Ellie since the instant he laid his eyes on her. Logan worships the ground that she walks on.

These two are literally couple goals. Even when they’re at their lowest, after they’re in mourning a loss and dealing with physical and mental pain they still are madly in love and more worried about the other one before themselves. I’m so in love with Logan and Ellie and as much as I loved their story, I’m sad it’s over.

I’m hoping Kathy is definitely writing Logan’s brothers stories bc those fine men desperately need HEA AS does Ellie’s best friend.

Once when I was a little girl, I dreamt that my dad painted our house pink because he wanted the whole city to know that inside the castle, lived his princess and his queen.
There were thick vines covered in bluebonnets that rose up from the ground and went past my bedroom window ending somewhere in the bright blue sky.
Below on the green grass stood my prince. I couldn’t see his face; I only knew he was someday going to climb up, and we were going to live happily ever after just like all the movies I watched with my mom and dad.
When I woke, I knew our house wasn’t pink, and I knew the man that stood there waiting for me wasn’t real. I pretended he was, and even though I thought boys were yucky, I remember telling my mom about the dream. She didn’t laugh and tell me it wasn’t real. She told me seeing was believing. She said children have a vibrant imagination and mine could be whatever I wanted it to be.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to be. I only knew someday I wanted to be a mother.
I wanted someone to love me the way my dad loved my mom. So, I used my imagination, and I pretended and daydreamed as most little girls do. Sometimes, my dreams came vividly alive while I slept. Others would occur at random, like the times when my parents and I would lie in the field, surrounded by bluebonnets and gaze at the stars.
In this dream I’m having now, I’m hopelessly in love with a man with dark brown hair and the greenest eyes. A love like ours wasn’t a conventional type of love, but it’s our love, and it came on quickly. Beautiful to me, and everlasting.
In my dream, I’m holding a baby, and this man was holding me as we stared down at our unexpected miracle. I couldn’t tell if it was a girl or a boy. I couldn’t even see its face. I only knew it was a part of me and a part of him. Its heartbeat vibrant and steady. It has ten fingers, ten toes, and a head full of hair the same color as the man. It was perfect, it was healthy, and it was very much alive.
In my dream, there wasn’t a monster holding a gun; there were only beauty and peace and a whispering breeze of calm. In my dream, my parents are alive. My mother knew who I was, and my father, he wasn’t lost in his sea of pain.
I gasp, choking on my saliva, spitting it out and feeling it dribble down my chin as my dream switches directions. The gears start shifting. They grind making an awful noise, and my life swerves, spinning out of control. I come to a dead stop, ending with my worst nightmare in front of me.
A hallucination that can’t be real.
Unpredictable and volatile.
I blink and close my eyes several times to clear the fog. I need to see my baby’s face instead of the monster.
I open them slowly, to find my baby is gone. Sweat drips down my temples; dread surrounds me because as my hands frantically search for my child, it’s then I realize the man holding me isn’t the man I love, it’s the monster.
He’s found me.

✯Release Review✯Unravel (Unbound Trilogy #1) by Kathy Coopmans

Title: Unravel
Series: The Unbound Trilogy
Author: Kathy Coopmans
Genre: Contemporary Romance

I’m Logan Mitchell, and I hold many secrets in my greedy hands.
Women?
They bow at my feet. Do what I ask and come back for more.
But Ellie Wynn, I don’t want her bowing, I want her to kneel.
She thought our time together was one night, a twist of fate.
How wrong she was.
Ellie has been mine since the day I saw her.
Little does she know, it wasn’t that night. It was years ago.
Well before I even understood she was mine.
One taste, one touch, one kiss, and it wasn’t enough.
Not for me.
I’m prepared to fight dirty, and I plan to succeed.
Lies, deceit, and betrayal.
Intrigued?
You should be.

✯✯5 Unraveling Stars!!!✯✯

Just when I thought Kathy Coopmans couldn’t outdo herself, she wrote Unravel, the first book in her Unbound Trilogy.

Ellie had the perfect family and life. When her parents passed away she’s left with her evil stepmom and even more evil stepsister and brother. The three of them did everything to make Ellie’s life a living hell. Her stepbrother also had an evil infatuation with her.

Ellie was lucky to have her former housekeeper turned mom and best friend turned sister in her life. They’ve been there for her when she was broken and at the bottom.

Now they have a clothes boutique that’s doing amazing. They have their own place. Ellie is happy but she’s always looking over her shoulder. She’s petrified her stepbrother will find her. One night Ellie lets loose and goes home with the most handsome, intense and intriguing man she’s ever met. Ellie doesn’t realize until after he falls asleep who he is. Ellie’s afraid her stepbrother is right around the corner so she gets her stuff and runs out of his place in middle of the night. Ellie can’t believe she didn’t recognize it was Logan Mitchell sooner.

Logan has always loved Ellie from afar. He knew her stepbrother was an evil man, knew what he wanted from Ellie. It’s why he’d insist on going with him whenever he went to Ellie’s. When he heard what happened to Ellie, Logan wanted to kill him. Still does.

Logan has always kept tabs on Ellie from afar. He’ll do anything to keep her safe. He knows he shouldn’t want her but when he saw her legs, heard her laugh that night at the bar he couldn’t stay away.

Logan’s made his money off women and sex. He never planned on being with one woman more than once, or for a lifetime. But, all it took was one night with Ellie for Logan to become a different man.  He wants Ellie for the rest of his life.

Except Logan has secrets.  His brothers keep warning him over and over to tell her before it’s too late and she finds out. Ellie wants to believe he’s the man he claims to be even though she senses there’s more he’s not telling her. Their chemistry is off the charts that he keeps holding off telling her everything. When the bomb drops both Ellie and Logan’s love nest unravels.

I really liked Ellie. My heart broke for her youth of loosing her parents and the way her stepfamily treated her. When the housekeeper and her daughter came in and made her a part of their family was amazing. She became a strong women considering everything that was done to her in the past.

As hot, intense, intimidating sexy as Logan is I’m not sure if I could get past his job and the things he’s done in the past. I definitely had been curious as to what this big secret was and lemme just say this... I finished this book around 3am and the last 3-4 paragraphs my heart kept beating faster and faster but the last two sentences my jaw dropped and my heart stopped while my mind blew up!!!

Kathy definitely started this trilogy with a bang. I’m also nervous bc this cliffhanger was a doozy and considering there’s two more books still, I can’t even imagine how bad the next cliffhanger will be lmao. I’m also hoping after this trilogy ends Logan’s Brothers are next. They definitely intrigued me. Great start Kathy!!!

“You’ve got a quick mouth on you, Ellie. I like it. It makes me wonder what else it can do.”
The intensity grows in his eyes while his words hit me between my thighs.
Throbbing.
The night he brought me here, he melted my panties. Tonight, no matter how much he tries charming me, they won’t be coming off.
“You’ll never know.”
“We both know I will.”
No, he will not.
“Speaking of having a quick mouth. Here’s something you can chew on and swallow. I won’t submit to anyone. If I want you, I’ll have you. If I don’t, I won’t. You, you’re a…”
Shit. I can’t even force the word, and I refuse to bend to his patronization. Him trying, pours more gasoline to the raging fire burning within.
“A male whore? Is that what you’re trying to say? I was one, Ellie. I haven’t been in almost a year.”
Possessiveness surges. Hard and heavy that it consumes my mind. I want to punch every woman he’s had before me. It’s a crazy notion when I don’t even know this man.
Logan takes hold of my hand that’s dangling at my side and drops a kiss across each of my knuckles, dancing eyes searching mine. His touch is soft, familiar, intimate, and my skin tingles where his lips graze.
“I sense there’s more your gorgeous mouth would like to say to me. Perhaps go to hell? Fuck off? Maybe what the hell is going on? Why was I at a dance club the night I brought you here and had the best sex of my life when I could have been at my club? Would you like to know what I’d like to say to you?”
No, I really wouldn’t. The man already has my mind traveling back in time. Right back to ten years ago.
“I’d like to tell you to get on your hands and knees, to spread those sweet thighs, pull my hair when I bury my tongue in between them. I’d like to know if our night together was as good for you as it was for me. I love to tell you to scream; only this time saying my name when I make you come.”
I roll my eyes and swallow, pressing my thighs together as memories of him asking me to do all but the last assault me in the spot his intention wanted to hit.
Logan Mitchell, I knew the name, but on him, I like it—Bossy, sexy, overly confident, dangerous.
