✯Release Review✯The Taste of an Enemy (The Boys of Clermont Bay #3) by Holly Renee

Rich. Vicious. Vengeful. Forbidden. The Boys of Clermont Bay had always been untouchable.

The Taste of an Enemy, the first angst-filled new adult romance in The Taste of an Enemy Duet from Holly Renee is available now!

Rich. Vicious. Vengeful. Forbidden. The Boys of Clermont Bay had always been untouchable.
And Carson Hale was the worst of them all.
He was pretentious and a player, and he had hated me for so long I forgot that we were ever anything more than enemies.
Brutally beautiful and savagely heartless, his only plan was to ruin everything I loved.
But dares were made, and even though I had no business saying yes, I found myself in trouble and forced to work with my rival to get us out of it.
He had always been cruel, but something changed.
The lure of him was too much. The way I craved his touch was unbearable.
Just as I fell for him, he proved himself to be exactly who he had been all along.

✯✯5 Carson and Allie Filled Stars!!✯✯

OMG I’ve been waiting for Carson & Allie’s story since the beginning of Beck and Josie’s duet. Holly Renee definitely started these two’s story with a huge bang.

Allie and Carson weren’t always enemies. They were not only friend’s but they were best friends who were secretly in love with each other. But, one night changed everything between them.

Allie went on a date hoping it would make Carson see her and make a move. Instead thing’s at Carson’s home exploded and he needed his best friend. Carson called Allie and she never answered. That night was the last night they were friends.

Years later they’re still not friends and they don’t talk about why they’re not friends anymore. Whenever they’re in the same room they’re spitting insults back and forth. And now that their best friend’s are dating they’re around each other more than they want.

Carson just happens to be sitting with some of the guys from his team when the guy’s start a bet. When Allie’s name gets thrown in, Carson see’s

red. He might hate Allie but she was his best friend once and he refuses to let them humiliate and hurt her just for a bet and a laugh. Carson vows to win Allie over even if it shatters his own heart and makes it where she will never forgive him.

Allie regrets not answering Carson’s call all those years ago. He really knows what to say to get under her skin and hurt her more than she’ll admit out loud.

Allie just wants to find a guy to love her like her friend Josie had with Beck.

Allie’s shocked when one of the jocks notices her and wants to hang out. But, it’s not easy Bc Carson keeps cutting in and inserting himself on their dates.

Allie doesn’t trust what Carson’s saying. When he wants to make a truce with her, she’s even more confused but goes along with it.

Carson is making it harder and harder for Allie to hate him. They end up in trouble and end up in community service and have to spend more time together.

Carson knows his time for being nice to Allie is for a reason. He’s just hoping to get to the end so he can go back to normal with them hating each other. But, he knows his feeling’s for her go deeper then he realized. He wishes he could keep Allie for himself.  But, he knows when the truth gets out she’ll never forgive him.

I have been wanting Carson and Allie for so long. I couldn’t put this book down once I started it. I knew it was a duet and would end on a cliffhanger but that didn’t stop me from wanting to throw my kindle across my backyard when I finished LOL.

If only Allie and Carson admitted their real feelings to each other they could’ve spent all these years together and not fighting and insulting each other whenever they saw each other.

Carson’s got a lot of explaining, groveling Alle begging to do in hopes Allie ever looks at him again.

Holly Renee continues to prove why she’s one of my must read author with every book she releases.

Excerpt

I walked into Wings and Things and spotted Eli as soon as I made it through the door. He smiled before standing and coming to meet me. I couldn’t tell if anyone else was already at the table, and I tried to remind myself that I shouldn’t care. Tonight was about having fun and getting to know Eli.
Carson didn’t matter for either of those things. I would just drown him out and pretend he wasn’t there. That was what I was used to doing. That was what the two of us had been doing for years.
Even though I was already a little but irritated that Eli hadn’t offered to pick me up. My dad was irritated by that fact too.
“You look beautiful.” Eli grinned before pulling me into a hug.
“Thank you.” I breathed in the scent of his warm cologne, the smell familiar and calming. “You look nice as well.”
I looked up at him as he let me go. He was much taller than me, although shorter than Carson, and he had a smile that made me feel comfortable.
He grabbed my hand in his and led the way back to the table. I fixed my hair while I was still blocked from view, and I planted the best smile I could manage on my face as he pulled out the chair for me that was directly across from Carson.
“Thank you.” I settled into my seat and tried to avoid making eye contact with Carson.
“Allie, this is Kimberly. Kimberly, Allie. I think you all might know each other.”
I looked across the table at Kimberly, and of course I knew her. We had gone to school together since grade school, and I had hated her almost as long. She was popular, conceited, and a perfect fit for Carson.
“Of course.” I nodded and pulled out my menu. “How are you, Kim?”
“I’m perfect.” She giggled and looked over at Carson. His hand disappeared under the table, and even though I couldn’t see it, I knew that his hand probably rested on her thigh.
I wanted to rip it off.
“Awesome,” I mumbled and tried to focus on the menu.
Carson laughed under his breath, but I ignored him.
“What are you getting?” I looked to my right where Eli sat. “Do you want to share some wings?”
“Oh.” He looked up from his menu. “I was thinking about getting the burger.”
“A burger at a wing place.” Carson scoffed and tossed his menu down on the table. “I’ll share an order with you, Allie. Kim’s getting a salad.”
He didn’t give me time to answer. As soon as the waitress came to our table, Carson opened his mouth. “My girl Allie and I are going to share a large order of wings, extra ranch for both of us. No carrots. She hates those.”
I looked at him like he had lost his mind because I was pretty sure that he had.
“What can I get you to drink?” The waitress was now looking at me.
“Um, just a Coke, please.”
Everyone else ordered their food, and I fidgeted with my hands under the table.
“So, Allie, how is school going for you?” I looked up at Eli. I had almost forgotten he was there.
“It’s all right. I’m so ready for fall break, though.”
“Me too.” He nodded. “Are you going anywhere? My family is taking a trip to Europe.”
“No.” I almost choked on the word. Sometimes I forgot just how far apart my family was from those who went to Prep. They were made of money, old money to be exact, and guys like Eli had never had to think about working or how he’d pay for college. “We typically stay home and do a Thanksgiving meal at our house. It’s real low-key.”
And my dad would still be working every day except for Thanksgiving, and my small house would be busting with people. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. We were always together on holidays, and I loved it.
It may not have been Europe, but it was ours.
“That’s cool.” He nodded and turned his chair to where he faced me better. “We’ve been going to Europe for years now. My parents love it, and they take us about every other year. Have you ever been?”
“To Europe?” I shook my head, and suddenly I felt ridiculous. “No. The farthest I’ve been is Disney World.” I didn’t mention that had been almost ten years ago.
I could hear Carson and Kimberly talking across from us, and I hoped he was too enthralled with her and her perfect face to even consider listening to our conversation.
Eli laughed like I had just told a joke, but I hadn’t. “That’s too bad. I bet you would really like Europe.”
“What makes you think that, Eli?” Carson was leaned back in his chair with his arm resting on the back of Kimberly’s.
Eli laughed nervously and looked between me and Carson. “It’s Europe.” He shrugged his shoulders.
“But you don’t know anything about Allie specifically that would make her love Europe, correct?”
Eli opened his mouth, but Carson continued.
“Like you have no clue that she’s been dreaming of going to Paris forever, and she has this little Eiffel Tower key chain that she’s had on her set of keys since she’s had them. Or that she thinks she’s part Irish because she has a little bit of green in her eyes.”
“I didn’t realize you knew so much about her.” Eli was no longer aloof. He was sizing Carson up, and I wasn’t here for a pissing contest.
“Well, now you do.” Carson stared back at him with the same unrelenting gaze, and I felt like I was going insane.
Carson hadn’t given a shit about me since that night he needed me and I wasn’t there. If he wasn’t ignoring me altogether, he was making me wish he was, and now all of the sudden, he wanted to share wings and spew facts about me like he was my best friend.
“Stop,” I hissed. “You’re being an ass. Aren’t you supposed to be on your own date?” I looked over at Kimberly, and she looked uncomfortable. I couldn’t blame her. I felt uncomfortable too.
The waitress arrived back at our table with food in hand, and we were spared from whatever Carson was going to say next. He looked down at the food, and his bright eyes looked so hollow. He scrunched his brow, something he always did when he was upset, and his jaw stiffened. I didn’t know if he was angry with me or with himself.
But I didn’t want to find out. I quickly grabbed a wing from our plate and took a huge bite. Sauce dripped down my chin, but I didn’t stop. The food was a distraction. If we were eating, then we weren’t talking, and I couldn’t stand to hear anything more from Carson right now.
Not after everything he just said. Not with the way he had brought up memories of me like it wouldn’t mess with my head.
“This is good.” I wiped at my mouth with the back of my hand. “Do you want a bite?” I looked over to Eli, and he shook his head as he looked at my half-bitten wing.
“Nah. I’m good.”
“Suit yourself.” I shrugged as I looked down at his measly-looking burger.
“I’ll take one.” Carson reached forward, his fingers wrapping around my wrist, and he stood in his seat enough to bring my hand to his lips. I stared at him, shocked by what he was doing, but there wasn’t an ounce of shame in his gaze.
He didn’t look away from me for a second as he bit down into the wing I was still holding, and I couldn’t stop myself from holding my breath as his lips met my fingers. Carson Hale wasn’t just taking a bite of my chicken. He was causing a scene, and part of me wondered how he had gotten so damn good at it.
He ran his tongue over the edge of my thumb, licking up the sauce that had dripped there, and I felt like he had just used his tongue on parts of my body that no one else ever had. I pressed my thighs together as I watched his mouth, and I couldn’t bring myself to care that Eli was watching me as Carson finally let go of my hand and settled back into his seat.
“You’re right, Allie. That’s absolutely delicious.” He licked his lip before picking up a wing of his own, then began eating like that display hadn’t just happened.
I picked up my napkin, quickly dropping my gaze to my lap as I wiped my hands, but I couldn’t get the feel of him off. And I didn’t know if I wanted to.

Dangerously handsome and wickedly cruel, he had no intention of letting me spend my senior year under the radar. The secrets of old money ran deep, and even though I barely knew them, the sins of my family had put a target on my back. He was a hurricane, and I was unprepared for the storm. His touch fatal. ✯✯5 Enemy Filled Stars!!!✯✯

OMG I have been waiting awhile for Holly Renee to hit publish for awhile and OMG the wait was 10000% worth it.

Josie Vos just looses her mom to cancer. If that wasn’t bad enough she’s forced to move in with her father, stepmom and stepbrother. Once she graduate’s her dad will stop holding her mom’s house and life insurance money over her head.

Josie meets Beck and is instantly attracted to him. Beck’s family founded the town they live in and comes from a lot of money. Josie’s last name might be Vos but she’s definitely not one of them. Josie tries holding off telling Beck her last name Bc she doesn’t want him looking at her differently.

When Beck learns Josie’s last name is Vos thing’s definitely change. Beck hate’s Josie’s stepbrother Lucas. They went from best friend’s to enemies. Unfortunately for Josie Beck’s dad owns the country club she work’s at and is in a few of her classes. Beck has made it his mission to make her life miserable. He want’s to break Josie to get to her stepbrother. One minute they’re at each other’s throats and the next minute they’re trying to get into each other’s pants. Josie just want’s to graduate and get outta Clermont Bay without getting broken into a million pieces.

Beck has wanted to ruin Lucas since he ruined his sister. He’s mad at how both their father’s handled the situation. When he realizes Josie’s a Vos he knows she’s gunna be collateral damage when he Rin’s Lucas.

Beck is trying so so hard to hate Josie Vos but she’s making it hard to. She doesn’t care that his name is Beckham Clermont. Josie wants him for him.

Beck continues making Josie’s life miserable. As much as he goes after her she stop makes him feel thing’s. He’s told her thing’s he hasn’t told anybody. If only they were two different people. Josie act’s like she doesn’t know what Lucas has done and who her dad is but Beck doesn’t believe her.

After they have an amazing night together they weren’t prepared for what was waiting for them the next morning. Beck might’ve gotten his revenge but somebody took it and turned it around to make him look like a bigger villain then he was. Beck won’t stop to he gets Josie back and takeout his enemies.

I read this book in one day. Beck and Josie were fire and ice. The tugging and pulling between them. They wanted each other SO bad it hurt but Beck’s need for revenge is what ultimately ruins them. I’m hoping, praying and begging he fixes it and goes after the right people. I’m hoping Josie can get outta Clermont Bay with all her pieces.

Holly Renee definitely killed it!! These two are SO hot it’s unreal. I’m needing the next part to this story and now!

✯Release Review✯ Perfectly Thin by Margaret McHeyzer

Title: Perfectly Thin
Author: Margaret McHeyzer
Genre: YA/NA Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 19, 2020

BLURB

When I’m thinner, no one will make fun of me
When I’m thinner, I’ll be accepted
When I’m thinner, I’ll be beautiful
When I’m thinner, I’ll be happy
When I’m thinner, I’ll be loved, and adored
When I’m thinner, I’ll like myself
I can’t wait until I’m perfectly thin.

✯✯5 Unperfect Stars!!!✯✯

Margaret is seriously one of my favorite authors!! She writes books that hit you deep down in your gut. Her books aren’t all rainbows and butterflies. Nope her butterflies usually have one wing that’s bent and even though they’re still beautiful, they’re flying in a circle or just all over the place.  Almost every book that she’s released I have seen pieces of myself in every main female character and Perfectly Thin was no different.

Jane’s in her senior year of high school and her eighteenth birthday is rapidly approaching. Jane is very close with her parents, grandparents, her 2 best friends and is as close as possible with her 2 older sisters as much as possible.

Jane isn’t one of the popular girls in school but as long as she has her two best friends she’s good. She’s never been super skinny like her sisters or her besties. Unfortunately for Jane the mean girls and guys target Jane every single chance they get.

Jane has been exercising and watching what she’s been eating and it’s showing. She’s lost some weight and looks great. When one of the popular guys asks her out on a date she is shocked but agrees.

Jane was really looking forward to going and having a good time. What should’ve been a great night turned into the worst night of Jane’s life. When Jane was left after being called a something and not a someone it gutted Jane.

Jane went on a mission of her own. She was going to prove to the meanies in school, her sister and everybody else who stares at her when she walks by.  Jane googles exercises and different foods and their calorie count. Then writes down an exercise and food plan and is strict on herself.

Jane is hard on herself. Harder than anybody else.  Jane has the voices on the inside of her head talking, yelling and reminding her of things all day. Loosing weight starts to become an addiction to Jane and not a good addiction. No matter what anybody says to Jane she’s not listening and it might just kill her if she doesn’t start to listen.

My whole life I’ve struggled with my weight. My weight 100% gone up and down my entire life and I don’t ever see that not being an issue. I myself have voices that talk to me whenever I look in the mirror or buying new clothes.  I’ve   also been bullied in school a bunch of times as well.

I totally understood Jane’s feelings and the urge to loose the weight. But, the

more the story went the more I worried for Jane and for her health.

Margaret definitely did her research on anorexia and everything that a person goes thru while struggling through the daily and while trying to overcome it. Perfectly Thin is in my top favorite reads this year. I’m looking forward to Margaret McHeyzer’s next release.

AUTHOR BIO

STRONG, BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS CHARACTERS.

**Write something worth reading**

I'm Margaret and I'm a self-published author.

Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best-selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.
My last six books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.
My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making life long connections.
I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have while writing them.

✯Review✯The Book of David by Kate L. Mary

Blurb
Neglected by her mother, abused by her stepfather, and trapped in an oppressive cult, Willow Sands has lived the past three years with the shadow of her fifteenth birthday hanging over her. That was the day her mother handed her over to David, the son of their leader, promising her a future even more bleak than she’d ever imagined. Now, with her eighteenth birthday and the day of her wedding fast approaching, she’s almost come to accept her fate.

Hope was the last thing Willow expected to feel this close to her wedding, but that’s exactly what she finds in Jared. The more time she spends with him, the more haunted she becomes by the freedom she let slip through her fingers all those years ago. She knows if she wants a real future she’ll have to break free of the crushing grip the cult has on her, and the more she gets to know Jared, the more determined she becomes to gain her freedom once and for all.

Trigger Warning: This book deals with the subject of rape and may be disturbing to some readers.

✯✯4 Willow Filled Stars!!!✯✯

Kate L. Mary continues to prove over and over again why she’s one of my favorite authors. All her female characters are fighters. Doesn’t matter if their fighting zombies, post apocalyptic life, weird cult life or men thinking their word is final.  They find a way to survive and come out on top.

Right before Willow was born her father and brothers died in a car accident. Her mother couldn’t handle loosing them and she found The Church of David. It’s the only life Willow knows. She knows nothing of the life outside the compound.

When girls turn 15 they are betrothed to their future husbands by Father David. Willow doesn’t know exactly what goes on other than it’s God’s will. The betrothed couple get one night together until the girl turns 18 and then they’ll be married.

Willow is betrothed to David. The son to Father David. That night was the start of a living nightmare for Willow. David takes advantage of his power. He rapes and beats Willow.

Afterwards instead of going home Willow ran away. She found a couple who took her in. Those few weeks were the best she ever had. Willow saw and learned things she’d never heard of before. She wanted to stay with them forever. One night Father David, David and a few of the elders found her and dragged her home.

Father David punished Willow. He let her know if she did anything out of the rules the women must follow or try to escape again, her mother will pay for it. She was to keep her head down, follow the rules and marry his son when she turns 18.

Willow laid low. Try to stay out of trouble. The closer to her 18th birthday the harder it’s becoming for Willow. She knows there’s more to life than what Father David says. She got more love when she escaped than her 18yrs from her mom.

Willow refuses to marry David. She just has to figure out her plan. Then one afternoon she meets Jared. One look at Willow’s life will never be the same. He looks, talks and treat her better than anyone ever has. The more time she spends with Jared the harder it’s getting for her to know what to do. She does know that she doesn’t want to marry David. But, she can’t figure out a way out of it.

I read this book in two sittings. I don’t have triggers. Even saying that there were some parts that had me flinching. So dive in with a warning.

Kate wrote this story and did an amazing job. I can totally see this as a Lifetime Movie. I’m glad she decided to hit publish this story that she’s been pushing for awhile bc Willow’s story needed to be told.

✯Tour Review✯Interlude - An Illusion Series Novel (The Illusion #6) by D. Kelly

We are so excited to be bringing you the release of INTERLUDE by D. Kelly. INTERLUDE is a brand new standalone contemporary romance and tells the much awaited story of Jordan Weston. Be sure to grab your copy today!

About INTERLUDE

Jordan Weston is good-looking, mysterious, and sexually uninhibited, but his life is more like the name of his bar―Just an Illusion. His cousins are the bad boys of Bastards and Dangerous, but their fame hasn’t made everything rainbows and sunshine for him. He’s haunted, flawed, and the sole survivor of a homicide that wiped out his immediate family.
Allie Baker, the most recent hire at the bar, can see through Jordan’s façade. She knows he’s everything she doesn’t need, but she’s beginning to crave his cocky attitude and the way he looks at her. The more she tries to stay away from him, the more she wants to get to know him.
Jordan knows falling for an employee is a bad idea, but Allie pushes buttons he never realized he had. Even though Allie desperately needs her job, she soon decides being with Jordan is more important. Will they be able to compromise, or will she let her chance at love pass her by for the sake of a paycheck?

✯✯5 Jordan Filled Stars!!!✯✯

I’ve been waiting for Jordan’s story since the beginning of Noah and Sawyer’s story. I’m excited to finally get it.

Jordan lost his parents and siblings when he was young. His father killed them and himself. His cousin Sawyer walked in right afterwards and saved his life. Since that night neither of them were the same.

Jordan’s aunt and uncle took him in. Adopted him and treated him as their own. His brothers are founders of the popular bad BAD. Jordan is happy and proud of his brothers and their friends.

Jordan has his bar Just An Illusion and that’s his baby. Other than his family Jordan’s heart is closed off to love. Jordan’s openly bisexual. He’s been in an on again off again relationship for years and years with Tyler.

Tyler wants to get serious with Jordan. But, Jordan knows if they do Tyler’s family will disown him and Jordan can’t live with himself if Tyler looses his family. When the new bartender looks at him Jordan knows everything is about to change. But, he’s not 100% sure he can put the wall around his heart down completely for the first time.

Allie needs a fresh new start. Her father has been in control of her life since forever. When Allie catches her fiancé cheating on her she’s had it. She hasn’t been happy or in love with him for awhile now.  Allie’s done being controlled and she’s ready to be in control.

Allie calls her best friend Sasha and she offers her a place to stay and a job. Allie got in her car and drove to her new beginning. When Allie sees her boss for the first time her heart stops. He’s dangerously beautiful and she knows she can’t jeopardize her job.

The more time Jordan and Allie spend together the harder it is for them to not cross the lines. Allie knows she shouldn’t jump right into a relationship. Jordan knows he needs to figure out things with his heart and mind between Tyler and Allie. These two have such a pull towards each other that it just gets  harder and harder to stay away.

This was another POV in the Weston family. If you’ve read The Illusion Series you’ll know details from Noah about Jordan’s past. Then, heard Sawyer’s POV and how it effected them. But, now you’ll get it from Jordan. You’ll also see Jordan’s view on everything that’s happened to Noah and the gang.

Seeing a different version of things that happened already was cool. Learning the story of Noah and Sawyer being silent partners and Jordan being frontman of the bar.

I loved Jordan in the previous books. He’s just as amazing now!!! I felt for him with everything he’d gone thru. The way he was with Allie and Tyler I felt for him. I’m glad he was able to figure out both his heart and mind.

Allie was amazing as well. I’m extremely glad she didn’t jump into Jordan’s bed immediately. That she gave her heart time to heal. She was also really understanding of everything Jordan related.

These two are great together. I gotta admit though reading this is making me extremely nervous to read Darren’s book. I’m going to have my tissues ready bc I can just imagine what I’m going to get when I read it.

Read an excerpt from INTERLUDE

“You’re just a big ol’ loveable ball of fur, aren’t you? Why did your daddy name you Fat Bastard? That’s just mean.” “Because that’s what he is to most people.” I jump and grab the cat, who isn’t pleased I disturbed his resting place. “Jesus, Jordan! You scared the crap out of me.” He leans back against the wall, a grin kicking up at the corner of his mouth. Jordan seems tired but also quite amused. “Sorry, I didn’t expect anyone to be in my house. And I definitely didn’t expect to see my ornery cat curled up in your lap. Did you cast a spell on him?” “He’s really that bad? I thought Sasha was exaggerating. All I did was feed him, give him water, and talk to him.” Jordan takes a seat next to me, and I swear the temperature in here just rose about ten degrees. What is it about him that affects me like this? He’s not my type at all. Then again, my type hasn’t worked out so well for me either. “Fat Bastard earned his name all by himself. Maybe you should have been the one to find him instead of me. I’ve never seen him take to someone like this, except with kids, but kids are pretty special in their own right, so I figured that was probably normal.” Oh my God, he likes kids. I’m not sure how to reply because I’m still stuck on the kid thing, but I get a reprieve when my phone rings. Jordan passes it to me and accidentally hits the speaker button. “Hello? Allie … Christ, Allie, it’s about time! Are you finally going to talk to me?” Shit. Evan is pissed. Jordan’s eyes cloud over like a thunderous rainstorm as he scowls at my phone. “Evan, I can’t talk right now.” “The hell you can’t. The gala is in three days, Allie. We’re announcing our engagement, your father is out of his mind, and he froze your trust fund. You have no money, Allie. It’s time to stop having a tantrum and come home.” This is so embarrassing. My gaze locks on J’s, and I mouth “I’m sorry.” “Evan, I suggest you do some damage control. Find the trollop you were fucking and announce your engagement to her instead for all I care. As I said in my letter, I’m not coming back. I’m sorry if you were planning to live off my trust fund, but if I can live without it, so can you.” “You selfish bitch!” Evan rages. Jordan’s eyes widen before he opens his mouth, and when he does, I’m not sure if I want to kiss him or punch him—or both. “Babe, come back to bed. My cock misses your lips.” “Who the hell is that?!” Evan screams. Jordan nudges the cat to the floor and scoots closer to me. “This is the man Allie is currently fucking. Who are you?” Evan sputters, and I can picture him losing his cool. “Allie, what is going on?” Jordan flips me onto his lap, and I squeal in surprise. My eyes widen as he mouths “Go with it.” What do I have to lose at this point? Jordan leans in closer, holding the phone between us. “Come on, babe. Hang up the phone and let’s go back to bed.” “Bed? That’s my fiancée you’re talking about. Allie Bear, tell me this is some kind of sick joke,” Evan whines. “There’s no ring on her finger. Besides, possession is nine tenths of the law, and since her pussy was just wrapped around my dick, I’d say that makes her more mine than yours right now. Wouldn’t you?” My cheeks flush as J runs his fingers across one with a lazy grin. “Come on, Bear, tell him you’re just paying me back. A little quid pro quo, right?” Jordan snickers. “You call her Bear? That’s adorable, but I think she’s more of a tigress myself. My little Allie Cat.” Jordan drops his mouth to my neck, and I can’t help the moan that escapes me. “Hear that, Evan? Doesn’t sound like anyone’s fiancée to me.” Jordan’s lips ghost over mine, and I whimper. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this attracted to someone, if ever. “This isn’t over, Allie. Do you hear me?” Evan is probably redder than a beet, but when Jordan lowers his mouth to mine, it erases the image of Evan in my mind. He kisses me loudly, like a man on a mission. Weaving his hands through my hair, he pulls me close. J nips my bottom lip, and I gasp in pleasure, his length growing beneath me as I press into him with a contented sigh. He turns off my phone and tosses it to the opposite side of the couch. Jordan’s mouth closes over mine, and I fall into his kiss with all my senses. His tongue meets mine and claims it. This isn’t a sweet getting-to-know-you kiss. This is a sexual awakening I never knew I was missing, and I want more. Evan is already a distant memory as I press myself closer while losing myself in his kiss. As I tug on his hair, he growls into my mouth. I remember the freshly fucked look he had to him when we met, and I want to be the one to make him look that way. I want to be the one on my knees for him.

✯Release Review✯ The Ash Moon(The Ariane Trilogy #1)by Michelle Dare

Title: The Ash Moon
Author: Michelle Dare
Genre: YA Paranormal Romance
Cover Designer: Regina Wamba at Mae I Design
Publication Date: November 16th, 2018
Blurb:
A kept secret. A life altered. A new journey.
Ariane lived her life one book at a time. She would never have guessed those books were about to change everything.
They led her to Orion.
Tall, dark, with eyes only for her. The rest of the world ceased to exist when Orion was around. But during a fateful ash moon, he shifted into a wolf. Ari thought she was dreaming, but she’d recognize those eyes anywhere.
Fiction became reality. Fantasy was actually history. And soon, Ari would learn her role in it.
A pack war was on the horizon, and she was the only one who could stop it.
Nothing would ever be as it once was, because Ariane was now part of the Avynwood Pack.

✯✯5 Alpha Filled Stars!!! ✯✯

Michelle Dare has done it again!!! She’s one of my fav authors. I absolutely love her Iridescent Realms Series. When I found out she was going back into the paranormal world I jumped for joy.

Ariane AKA Ari and her best friend Paige head to a book signing for her favorite author. Ari brought the whole series to get the author Lealla to sign them. When Lealla invites her back to her house for an after party Ari wasn’t expecting that her entire life was going to change.

Ari meets Orion the cover model for the upcoming book in the series. When they shake hands Ari feels a spark but doesn’t think twice about it. Ari ended up having the best night of her life.

Ari never thought she’d see him again until he reached out to her on Facebook. The next time they hang out he brings her back to Lealla’s house where they’re all talking about her paranormal series as it’s real life. Ari thinks she’s going crazy.

Orion AKA Rion asks her to reread the series again from the beginning and he’ll answer all her questions the next time they go out.

The next time they go out he drives her into the Forrest by his house. Rion asks her to trust him. Under the light of the ash moon he turns into a beautiful wolf and Ari realizes the books she’s been reading or based on true life.  Rion lets Ari know that they’re story is next in the series to be read.

If that wasn’t crazy enough. Ari meets Ford a vampire. He’s a frenemy of Rion’s. Ford reads Ari mind constantly and loves egging Rion on. I’m not gunna lie Ford had me lmao from the minute he appeared to the end of the book.

Rion is part of the Avynwood Pack and they’ve been at war with the Diaminsey Pack for years and years. They’re responsible for Rion parents death. Everybody keeps telling Ari she’s the catalyst and she’s the key to stopping the war. She’s not sure what to think of everything.

Rion keeps letting her know she’s his mate. He’ll take things slow so she can catch up. But, until they’ve actually mated she’s up for grabs by any wolf and even then they can challenge Rion for her hand.

Then there’s Ford. He might get under her skin at times but he’s quickly becoming her best friend next to Paige.

If that wasn’t enough for her to grasp she’s being teleported into her dreams. Luckily for her Ford has stepped in every time and gotten her out. He even gives her a way to get herself from one place to another in case he can’t get there fast enough.

While she’s grasping that she meets a beautiful white wolf.  He’s like her a traveler and is the only other person that can help her grasp what’s going on in her dreams. His name is Wake and he’s Rion’s cousin. They were more like brothers until he was cast out of their pact and he went to Diaminsey pact. He says he’s here to help but nobody knows what’s to believe or next.

Rion, Ford, Wake are just 3 out of the many alpha's that are in this story. But, they're all a different type of alpha. Some intense, some moody and the vibe on others. It's hard to love one more then the other bc they're all swoon worthy. There's a few new guys to add to your book boyfriend list.

That’s just a quick basic gist of what’s going on. Yet, there’s still sooooooo much more. I read this in less then 4hrs bc I couldn’t put it down!! Then, that cliffhanger OMG I need more!!!

I’m also dying for more Ford and Wake. Michelle hopefully is writing quick bc I want them all lol.
