I’ve loved EVERY book Kennedy Fox has released.  One of my FAVORITE characters in The Roommate Duet  Series was Tyler!! When I read what was all done with him I was crying. He didn’t deserve what was done to him and I was praying he’d get his own book and here we are. 

Things haven’t been easy for Tyler. His childhood wasn’t the best and he joined the military straight after high school. During his 4yrs in the military he spent writing back and forth with Gemma, his younger sister Everleigh’s best friend. 

Tyler fell in love with Gemma while writing letters back and forth. When he came home he fell harder. 

Tyler was Gemma’s first and they spent the summer together but he knew he had to get outta Alabama and begged for her to come but she wouldn’t but he left anyway. 

Tyler has been gone for twelve years and has never once been back and never planned on it. But, five years ago Tyler made a decision to help his best friend Liam with he got mixed up with the O’Leary mob. It ended up costing him the last five years in prison but he’d do it again to help Liam and save Maddie’s life. 

Tyler is back in Alabama living with his sister and starting his new job. Working for Gemma’s dad. Who also works for her dad. She’s also engaged and looks different and isn’t happy he’s back. Tyler’s starting to think he made the wrong decision coming back. 

Gemma has loved Tyler for her entire life. She was shocked he wrote her back the first time but loved writing him back and forth for those four years. They enjoyed their summer together and Gemma was devastated when he left. 

Gemma waited years for him to comeback. She went on dates here and there but nothing panned out. Then few years ago she gave up hope Tyler would ever return. 

Gemma felt terrible when he went to prison. When she heard what he was charged with she knew that wasn’t Tyler. He’d never mess with guns or drugs. 

Gemma started dating Robert and they got engaged after six months but have been engaged awhile. He’s been pushing her to move in with him and to set a date. He’s hoping she’ll move up her timeline and marry him within a few months from now. 

Gemma was questioning marrying Robert. The last thing she was expecting or needing was Tyler coming back and working with her everyday. 

Tyler’s not the same guy he was when he left. She sees a hardness and sadness in his eyes that weren’t there when he left. What is still there is their connection. It’s still sizzling hot. 

Gemma’s starting to see a different side to Robert as well. He’s becoming pushier on them moving in and getting married now rather then later. They hardly spend time together unless she’s having to dress to impress his work clients. He’s also become super jealous and possessive of her and he isn’t liking her working with Tyler. She can never tell him he’s anything more then Everleigh’s older brother. 

Gemma is getting more and more unsure about marrying Robert. It’s obvious she still has feelings for Tyler. Even without seeing him for twelve years he makes her feels things Robert never has. Not even in the beginning. But, it’s what Robert’s been hiding that has her over it. 

In my book Tyler never needs redemption. He’s the best guy ever!! What he needs is a HEA. In order to get that he needs to finish a big part of him. The one thing he can’t get past. 

I’m dying for the last part of this duet to release. I called exactly who Gemma was going to meet and I’m not surprised. I’m going to continue rooting for Tyler & Gemma. 

I’m also excited Katie and Everleigh are going to get their HEA but these three friends remind me of Maddie & her two sisters.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. Yes!!! I’ve been dying for Louise to publish another book after finishing Mr. Mayfair bc I LOVED Beck and I fell in love with his Circle of friends! I’ve been waiting for Dexter ever since.

The more I read from Michelle Dare the more she's becoming one of my top go-to authors. She dipped into fantasy in this one and OMG she nailed it.  

Alison is going through the motions. During the day she's working at the antique shop her mother left her when she passed away. Then, when she falls asleep she dreams of the handsome man on hs dragon surrounded by beautiful azure flowers.

One day while helping a customer look at an old antique clock they find an old box with beautiful designs. In it is a key and a letter to her in her mothers handwriting. 

Alison finds out from her mom that they're from another realm. There is a door in the closet that'll get her there. She tells Alison to do two things. Find Rafe Pine bc that's her father. She's to keep the key close to her. The key is like houdini and it may disappear and she may not be able to get back. Alison doesn't think twice about taking this chance.

The minute Alison walks through the door she's transported to a field full of flowers that are familiar to her. The first face she comes to is the of the man of her dreams. She learns his name is Lucas Azure and he's of royalty. He's the kings youngest and he's the head of their elite guard. 

Lucas doesn't seem surprised to see her. She'd been in his dreams for awhile now. Lucas has the need to protect her. Until she tells him who she's looking for. Their enemy. King Pine. Lucas quickly takes her to the castle but not before Alison proves to him its true.

The connection and pull that Alison and Lucas have is strong. Alison is in this brand new world. She's outta her element. I mean they've got dragons. They are oversized great danes. There's a knight from her fathers kingdom whose hand she was promised too.  Oliver might seem like a great guy. But, the only guy she wants is Lucas. 

Lucas's father King Azure shocks her as well. He doesn't seem shocked by her arrival or story. He's got a story of his own which shocks Alison, Lucas and his brothers and sister. 

Once  started this I couldn't put it down.  This was a great love story. It was also filled with fantasy and of course a war between kingdoms. I promise you won't be able to put it down. I'm so looking forward to the next book. I'm wanting any of Lucas's older siblings. But, there's Oliver and Alison's brother from the Pine kingdom. There's legit so many different kingdoms and storylines that Michelle can dig into. I promise I'll be there with every book!

Well, it's true when they say the save the best for last. Because, that's what Rie did with this series. She left Bane for last and man is he my favorite. Bane had everything I was looking for including the whole Bane/Storm drama.

Bane got recruited to T-Zone by boss lady Blaize. He's the quiet killer of the group. Bane is the next up to run the next Op. His next in command is none other then Baby Spy or better yet Kiki. Nobody is happy about this. The guys have had it out for her for almost a year now. Ever since Walker's Op got compromised. Then, Justice's. Now, Bane has to go to Mexico with her. Before he goes the head of T-Zone call and give him another job to do while in Mexico. Kiki must be KIA and they want Bane to do it. 

Kiki is making it her mission to prove to Bane and the guys that she wasn't behind all the damage on their Ops. She also can't help her growing attraction to Bane ESP since she can see his attraction in his eyes. They have a job to do and that's with the drug cartel. She runs into somebody from a past Op.It's a good things she's there because Walker and Bane aren't smooth talkers like she is. When everyone has to split up her and Bane are on their own. Legit on their own away from everyone else. It's there that both their decks of cards are laid out on the table. It's now that everything is blown wide, loud and messy.

I absolutely loved this book!! It was the end to another fantastic series by Rie Warren. All the guys and their fierce woman are all back. Bane and Kiki were perfect for each other. They had lonely lives and they weren't complete until they opened their eyes and hearts to the other one. But, their happiness totally didn't come easily. There was some major obstacles in their way. Luckily for them their best friends are fellow bad-asses and don't like following the rules. This book was legit non-stop everything including the epilogue from all the women's POV. If you haven't started this series yet hurry up!

The door creaked open, and I slit my eyes in that direction. Between the dark and shadows, I fathomed Kiki’s slim frame entering the room.

“Where you been, girl?” I grumbled from my cot.

“Went shopping with Blaize. Got mani-pedis too. What’d you think?” Her low voice shivered across the quiet room—the sound alone setting my cock on edge.

I barked a laugh. That attitude. Damn. My dick stiffened even more beneath the thin blanket.

“That’s all well and good, but Blaize returned hours ago.”

“Had to get my hair blown out too.” She snarked back. “Mind if I turn on a light?”

Like fuck she got her hair done—or her nails. The woman was rough and tumble, just the way I liked her.

“Go ahead.” Hell yeah. Shine some light on her getting undressed.

“You can come find out if you want.” The words rumbled from my chest as the heat in the room intensified with every shred of clothing she shed.

“I’m usually not that quick to judge. Been on the receiving end of assholes’ preconceived notions before.” I hungrily watched as she bent over.

She shuffled under the covers on her cot across from me. Reaching a hand out from the blanket, she dropped the black bra onto the floor between us.

“Damn,” I whispered in a hoarse tone. Then a laugh thickened from my throat. “It’s not ego, girl. It’s confidence.”

Well, I've waited for Leo's book since the beginning. I knew his story was going was going to be a tear jerker. But, then Addison had to go and give us Hadley. 

Hadley is doing 2 things. She's embracing the real her. First working in the strip club and now she's a club girl for the Brothers by Blood MC. Working for them helps her with the main thing she needs. Protection. The guys protect their girls and she  needs it. Her husband is after her. Without having somebody to protect her, Hadley doesn't know what he'd do to her. Except she wasn't expecting to fall in love with Leo and his daughter. 

Leo hasn't loved another woman since his wife died after giving birth to their daughter. If he didn't have her he definitely would've give up. But, his Brothers by Blood and the club girls helped him and his daughter. Leo didn't realize it at first. But, Hadley is the perfect for him. Perfect Old Lady, perfect mother and perfect for him. Leo must claim her if he wants her all to himself and then he needs to protect her. Before her husband takes her. Leo refuses to loose somebody else he loves.

You must read this! Even though all the books are standalone's I'd read them in order. Including Blizzard or you might get confused on the sexy Mr. Angelo. Even Harmony and Kit were back. This MC is too good not to start from the beginning. 

Hadley is extremely strong, caring and beautiful inside and out. She'd risk herself for the people she cares about. Every time! Leo is the same way. These two make a perfect couple. Add in Leo's daughter and they're the perfect family. Don't get me wrong there was plenty of times I found myself crying my eyes out. Even with the crying, laughing and gasping it's def one of my favorite reads.
