What happens when a stalker threatens your life and you’re flown to a private beach house with your sexy new bodyguard? You break the rules and hope he falls madly in love with you.
The End of Us is an age gap, forced proximity standalone romance.
✯✯4 Tristen Filled Stars!!!✯✯
I’ve wanted this book ever since I finished The Best of Us and I didn’t think I’d ever get Piper’s story.
Piper’s family is rich and she wants for nothing but she wanted to do her own thing and she became a social media influencer and she’s made a name for herself. She’s had a stalker and her family insisted that she have a bodyguard until they can track down the guy who’s been threatening her.
Tristan joined the military and planned on making a career of It until he got seriously hurt. After he got home and his recovery was done he started working as a bodyguard. He was hired to guard Piper. When Piper’s attacked at her sister’s wedding Tristen takes her away to his families beach house off the grid until the guy is caught.
Even though Tristan’s been with Piper everyday for six months he’s kept it very professional. He knows everything about her but Piper doesn’t know anything about him. But, being stuck together 24/7 without WiFi or leaving the beach house they start opening up to each other.
They’ve always thought the other one was attractive but know that they’re learning all about each other they’re even more attracted. Tristan’s all about keeping Piper safe no matter what and he plans on keeping it that way no matter what. Piper on the other hand has wanted Tristen from day one and she’ll do whatever it takes to get him to see the real her and to give in to what they both want.
Even though they’re both feeling things there’s still somebody out there who wants to hurt her. I felt like the ending was a little rushed but other than that it was a good story!
I’m looking forward to Easton’s story next. I’m hoping I don’t have to wait a long time for it.

A twisted mafia romance about quiet wealth and refined darkness
Sienna
It’s been ten years since he left me with nothing but a pendant, a photo, and a broken heart. He was but a ghost, there one minute and gone the next. I picked myself up, dried my eyes, and built my life without him. Now he has come back into my life like a raging storm surrounded by crime and bloodshed. I no longer need him, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want him—or just a little taste…
Elio
Ten years ago, I had to leave behind the only light I had in my life. Without her, I live in darkness. I am not proud of the things I’ve done, nor the blood that’s been shed. Everything I did had been to protect her. We live by our code—family, power, loyalty, and protection. Our empire is built on the bones of our enemies. Now that she is back and we have a second chance, they will learn one way or another you do not touch my queen.
Capri Famiglia will rise to the top no matter the cost, bloodshed, or the lines that will have to be blurred.
✯✯5 Elio & Sienna Filled Stars!!!✯✯
OMG finally!!! I feel like I have been waiting for forever for J. L. Drake to hit publish on her next release for decades. I gotta say after reading the first part of Elio and Sienna’s story the wait was SO worth it.
Since this is going to be a three part trilogy I really don’t wanna give much away.
Sienna was living a life of misery. Between starving and the beatings she wanted to give up. She just hoped her mom returned for her soon.
While taken a rare breather so found a pond and then found a friend in Elio, the boy next door.
For year’s they were just friend’s and then they grew into so much more. His parent’s took her in as their own as well. As long as Sienna had Elio in her life she was OK. Until one day him, his parent’s and everything that was them was gone. And, Sienna was left again for the second time in her life.
It’s been ten year’s since Sienna lost Elio and his parent’s. The only thing she has to prove to her he’s real is the crow necklace he gave her.
Sienna was alone and on the street’s when she met Wyatt and he took her in and now they’re both journalists.
When her bosses found out about her past they talked her into doing an exposé and she did it in hopes her mom would find her.
Next thing a big time hotshot reached out to her boss to hire her to do an article on their oil business that people have been trying to get for year’s.
The last thing Sienna thought was the guy she’s meeting with is Elio’s best friend/business partner. Sienna want’s to run away from Elio but she can’t. Her heart, body and soul are connected to Elio. No matter how powerful and scary he’s become he’s still the boy she met in the woods ten years ago.
Elio never wanted to leave Sienna all those years ago. He thought if he left her then nobody would know she’s the love of his life and his one weakness and she’ll be protected.
But, here she is and he can’t and won’t stay away from her again and he refuses to loose her.
The only problem is another mafia family are back in Italy and they want everything Elio’s family has.
There’s a rat in his inner circle and he’ll take them all out himself until he finds out whose behind it and stop it once and for all.
Elio’s also trying to win Sienna back without letting his enemies know who she is to him.
I read this in less than two days. I couldn’t put it down. This has everything you want in a dark romance read and then so much more. I knew it was going to end on a cliffhanger but when I finished it at 4:45 this morning it didn’t stop me from yelling at my kindle in my empty room LOL. I’m dying for the next part of Elio and Sienna’s story!!
Stripping down to just my bra and underwear, I slipped into the water and allowed myself to float, proud that I had finally learned to swim. I splashed in the water, happy for a brief moment. Puffy clouds made their way across the blue sky, and I let myself drift away with them, enjoying the freedom. The smell of the plumeria filled the air, and I pretended it was Mother Nature gracing me with a gift of her perfume.
“I was beginning to think you were avoiding me.” His voice traveled across the water and vibrated through me. I ducked down, careful to keep my body underneath the water, so just my nose was above the surface. “It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen you here.” He peered into the hidey hole where we hid our notes and grinned. “I see you got my notes.”
He was right. I had been avoiding him, but it had come with a cost. His kindnesses and our chats had been so important to me. I realized how much I had missed him. I was lost and felt angry and sad all the time.
He tugged off his t-shirt with one hand and stood in his jeans. I saw the way they hung low on his hips. Elio was two years older than I was, and his body was that of a fighter. Strong, lean, and had that V that Cara always drooled over. Yes, Elio looked spectacular.
“And you’re swimming.” He placed a hand over his heart playfully. “That hurts.”
I couldn’t help but smile at that, even as I swam a little bit farther away from the shore. It was true that I didn’t like people looking at my body, especially because of all the bruises. I was also self-conscious about being so thin, although I had put a little meat on my bones lately. Most of all, I didn’t like the attention I got from the men at the dockyard and the house. It made me feel uncomfortable. I had developed quickly over the past few months, and it was difficult to hide my shape under my clothes.
I treaded water and tried to think of something to say as he dropped his jeans and waded into the water in just his boxers. He dipped under the surface and came up right in front of me.
His dark eyes seemed to be even more intense today, and I felt a jolt when I took a leap and stared into them. It was like someone poured a bucket of warm water over me.
“Sorry,” I whispered, and his eyes softened like he was happy I spoke. “Things have been hard, and I got a little…” I trailed off, unsure how to explain myself.
“Lost?”
“I think to be lost you need to have been found at some point,” I fought back an urge to cry. “I didn’t have a starting point. So…” I shrugged.
“I missed our notes.”
“Me too,” I confessed.
“But I missed you more.” He smiled sweetly. Elio would often be bold with his kindness. I admired that he could say what he wanted without a care.
His eyes flickered as something raced through his mind. I could feel his body language change.
“Do you trust me, Sienna?” I licked my lips and thought about his question. “You know me well enough to know I wouldn’t hurt you, right?”
I nodded because it was true. Elio had never said or done anything to hurt me in any way. In fact, he had cared for me over the years and never asked for anything in return. I felt like he knew me better than anyone else.
Author J.L. Drake was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada, later moving to Southern California where she lives with her husband and two children.
When she's not writing she loves to spend time with her family, traveling or just enjoying a night at home. One thing you might notice in her books is her love for the four seasons. Growing up on the east coast of Canada the change in the seasons is in her blood and is often mentioned in her writing.
Her books can be found in different languages around the world.
Innocent. Blameless. Pure. Heartbroken. Josie Vos belonged to the one family I hated more than anything.
And I had forced her to despise me just as much.
It didn't matter that I had lost track of my plan and fallen for my enemy.
Irrevocably hurt and enraged by my deceit, she had no intentions of doing anything but watching me lose my throne.
The secrets of our families can never be forgotten.
I knew that from the beginning, but I refuse to allow the sins of our families to determine our future.
I should have left her alone and let her hate me. I didn't.
I was going to fight for her, even if she now held all the power.
✯✯5 Smoking Hot Stars!!!✯✯
OMG after that cliffhanger in The Touch of a Villain I was beyond desperate to get my greedy hands on Beck and Josie’s next part of their story. I was hoping somehow Beck would redeem himself but I was worried.
We pick up right where we left off. Josie’s heartbroken and beyond pissed off at Beck but more importantly herself for trusting him. Beck swears he didn’t post that video of them even though he admits to taking it. Josie just wants to finish the school year and get her mother’s last possessions and get outta that town.
Beck will do anything to make Josie see how sorry he is but she’s not making it easy on him. He doesn’t blame her. Beck will wait as long as he needs to and do whatever it is until they can get past this.
Josie gets that Beck was trying to justice for what happened to Frankie. She just wishes he didn’t have to do it by ruining her. Josie knows there’s more to the story she just needs to get somebody to tell her exactly what happened.
Beck and Josie can’t seem to stay away from each other. Their minds, hearts and bodies are all fighting each other. Their bodies are definitely winning.
Josie’s also got to deal with her stepbrother Lucas’s drama and her dad and his threat’s and ultimatums. He’s never been a real father figure and has no interest now but he’s gotta keep his reputation up in everyone’s eyes.
The only bright parts to Josie’s days is her best friend’s Allie and Frankie. The three of them have gotten close and Josie’s grateful for them.
Beck’s glad to see his sister Frankie hanging out with Josie and Allie. She’s been locked up in her room since that night.
When Beck and Josie finally seem to forgive and move forward Beck’s confronted again. He knew Josie’s dad was evil but he’s truly shocked by how evil he really is. Beck refuses to be the reason Josie looses the thing’s she loves the most. He knows there’s only one thing to do he just hopes Josie will one day forgive him.
OMG I legit couldn’t put this book down. I’m telling you that this book is smoking hot!! I’m not kidding you I haven’t read a book this hot in awhile.
After reading Beck and Josie’s story I’m anxiously waiting for Carson and Allie’s story and Olly and Frankie’s.
Beck and Josie’s story is my favorite from Holly Renee. I know I said that after every new release LOL but it’s true.
Amazon Top 100 bestselling author of contemporary romance, Holly Renee brings readers a pinch of angst, an indulgence of heat, and the perfect amount of heart in every book.Born and raised in East Tennessee, she is a married mom of two wild children. When she's not writing, you can find her reading, pretending to be a dragon for the hundredth time that day, being disgustingly in love with her husband, or chilling in the middle of the lake with her sunglasses and a float.Holly is a lover of all things romance, Mexican food, Harry Potter, and yoga pants.
The moment she sassed me, even though I was wearing my club cut, I knew she had fire in her soul.
As the tech man for the Houston Defiance MC, it’s my job to know everything. To always be ahead of the game. To outwit, outmatch, and outmaneuver our enemies at every turn. They may be smart, but I’m smarter.
Finding out this firecracker has ties to a rival MC catches me off guard.
And my first instinct is to protect her.
Damn the consequences.
Taking her under my wing is impulsive, reckless, electrifying.
And I’m more than aware of the repercussions.
But what if she is not who she says she is?
Those close to me loathe the idea of us, and they’re becoming more of an issue.
But things are not always as they seem.
With new threats comes chaos and danger at every turn.
But perhaps the war lies closer to home than even we realize.
From International Bestselling Author K E Osborn comes the highly anticipated fourth book in the Houston Defiance MC Series.
✯✯5 Neon & Oakley Filled Stars!!!✯✯
OMG KE Osborn has written another A+ masterpiece! Impulsive is the fourth book in The Houston Defiance MC and it’s as good as the previous book’s. If not better.
I’ve wanted Asher “Neon“ Creed’s story since Explosive was released. Neon’s the club’s IT guy. If they need dirt on somebody, need info, hide thing’s, expose thing’s then Neon is the guy to go to.
The last few years haven’t been easy for him. His sister Anna was going to marry Zero, Oh President of The Defiance MC. When she cheated on him the night before they’re wedding and it was called off everything changed. Neon was stuck between his baby sister Anna and his brother and club President Zero.
When Neon meets Nicolette Oakley he was speechless. She sassed him, stole his hotdog and disappeared. Few years later he run’s into her again and he doesn’t plan on letting her run away so fast.
One minute they talking and the next they’re confronted by a rival MC. When Neon realizes Oakley’s in some kind of trouble with them he swears to protect her.
Oakley can’t believe she’s face to face with Neon after all this time. Oakley’s a motorcycle drag racer and has worked extremely hard being the only girl in her family racing and she did whatever she has to in order to keep her sponsorships.
Oakley got in with a bad MC and wanted out. She did something shady to get out. She thought she had a fail safe, a way to get out and her and her family would be safe. She was wrong. They’re standing in front of her letting her know they found it and we’re coming for you.
Neon swears him and his club will protect her and keep an eye on her dad. Oakley can tell right away Neon and his club brother’s are nothing like she’s used to. They make her feel safe and welcomed.
The chemistry coming off Neon and Oakley is hot, seriously hot and combustible. They try staying away from each other but they can’t. And boy are these two hot!!
Thing’s sure are not easy for them. When Neon’s sister Anna has to come stay at the club everyone’s on high alert. She make’s thing’s difficult for everyone ESP Neon.
Neon’s stuck between his baby sister, his club and new relationship with Oakley. He’s trying to do right by everyone but it’s not working.
Oakley’s wanting to get back to racing. It’s her life. She’s enjoying spending her time with Neon and the men and women from Defiance MC. Until she’s confronted with an ultimatum. One she never saw coming. She could loose her dad one way, Neon the other or worse. Lose them all.
Neon and his brother’s thought they were finished with the Baron. When his widow Connie aka The Baroness show’s up with info she shouldn’t Neon knows there’s a mole in the club.
Thing’s for Neon and Oakley go from smooth to rocky quickly. Everyone’s on high alert. They have to decide if they’re going to fight together or walk away.
KE Osborn wrote this book beautifully. You never knew what or who was coming next. What was behind what just happened.
My heart hurt’s for Neon. He’s got Oakley and his relationship with Zero is back to being great. His sister... I don’t think there’s any redemption in her and thing’s will need to happen that he’ll have no control over and even though deep down Neon knows it has to happen but it kills Asher Bc it’s his sister.
This is a stand-alone but I’d recommend you read the previous book’s so you don’t miss anything. I’m SO ready for the next book!!!!

Title: The Sacrifice Series: The 4Horsemen #3 Author: Elena Monroe Genre: Dark Forbidden Romance
Release Date: February 4, 2021
BLURB
KHAOS
I’m not living under any kind of false pretenses here. I know I’m basically a rapper’s attitude with R&B feelings and a pop star’s bank account.
There were a lot of ways to describe my unconventional lifestyle of part time cult member and full time showman.
Risk taker.
Exuberant.
And my personal favorite adjective: undomesticated.
I surrounded myself with people who liked a good time but left after they served their purpose of making sure I felt nothing but top shelf feelings.
I wasn’t about to be like my brothers who let the darkness eat away at their vindication. The only crime I had ever committed was waving the glory of being invited, of saying I came and conquered around like a badge of honor.
Spoiler alert: None of that earned me respect.
There’s only one girl who managed to rob me of my fake smile...and my watch.
GRACE
I was a throw away, street trash, a child abandoned and scooped up by the bad people you only hear about after they get caught.
I was hard in a way people found uncomfortable and determined too much work to rehabilitate into society again. I was found guilty over and over enough to let the bad things become who I am, blurring the lines between freedom and a jail sentence.
Fraud.
Thief.
And my least favorite: fake girlfriend to a scary ass kingpin.
Forced out of a childhood I was surrounded by darkness, evil, and the kind of cutthroat loyalty that landed your body so mutilated they wouldn’t be able to tell who you were if you fell out of obedience.
They accepted me like family and there’s no quitting your family.
I had the respect to match my rap sheet.
There’s only one guy who managed to exonerate me… and my invisible wings.
✯✯5 Romeo & Juliet Filled Stars!!✯✯
Elena Monroe is three for three for me!! This is the 3rd book of hers that I’ve read and I promise you I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon!!
In the previous 2 book’s Khaos is the Happy go lucky one outta the 4Horseman. He’s got a skate ramp in both his office and backyard. You have to pick a hand and you’re either getting a starburst or a riddle. You never know with Khaos.
We learn Khaos isn’t what meets the eye. He’s definitely putting up a front so nobody will know what scars he’s hiding behind.
After his high school girlfriend who crushed his heart he won’t let himself fall and get hurt all over again. It’s why he has 25 girlfriend’s on retainer. One for every letter of the alphabet with the exception of G.
When Birdy walked into Khaos’s life his world started to spin off its axis. Khaos has lived by his own rules for so long and never wanted to change. Birdy is making it where he’s breaking all his own rules and he isn’t even sorry about it.
Grace AKA Birdy hasn’t had an easy life. Going from group home to group home. She ended up living on the streets and started pick pocketing to earn cash to survive.
Birdy ended up in juvenile detention until Dove got her out Bc her stealing abilities was something he wanted to use that for himself.
Dove didn’t have an issue laying his hands on Birdy when he didn’t get what he wanted outta her. Whenever he got to ruff she’d go to her friend Justice and her husband Vic.
Birdy was just given a new target by Dove. Khaos. Dove wasn’t expecting Birdy to fall for Khaos and to not do her job to to his standard’s.
Birdy can’t help herself. Khaos makes her feel thing’s she’s never felt in her entire life. Birdy will do anything to save Khaos from Dove.
Khaos is in a cult and Birdy’s in a gang. These two shouldn’t work but they really do and will fight other’s and their inner demons in order to keep the other safe and to stay together.
There wasn’t much cult ad the first two book’s but it was just as good!! My heart hurt Khaos with him and his anxiety and panic attack’s. The same with Birdy dealing with the beating’s she received. These two are everything.
“You don’t know me. You’ve never known me because you chalked me up to be some useless brat you constantly fix mistakes for. I let you all define me. I’ve always just been whatever the fuck you all needed: funny Khaos, quiet Khaos, the Khaos that pushes you right into love when you’re too fucking blind. You don’t see how much she means to me because you don’t fucking see me. No one sees me except her.” My fingers were fisting the material so hard I wondered if I ripped his shirt when he cracked a smile. His smirk bothered me instantly when he said, “I was testing a theory. Either way you’re becoming a blood donor tonight.” Letting go of his shirt, I slumped down in the chair still riddled with anxiety and anger. I let myself fold over trying to get centered even though this wasn’t my adult tree house or a bathroom floor like I preferred. “You’re a fucking psychopath.” Vic folded his arms over his broad chest, “I had to make sure she meant something and wasn’t just part of your fucking antics... she’s a good person, not part of your fucking reverse harem plot.” A small pause between thoughts he spoke again, “Clave knows that video exists even though we buried it by giving Rodriguez a raid. She's the new price of you missing an event, dumbass. That’s DuPonte’s only rule and you broke it.” He wasn’t wrong. The Clave doesn’t do well with broken rules and if you’re lucky enough to survive the punishment then it means you lost crucial parts of your life. Loved ones mostly. Considering I was the most unattached, the Clave would find a way to hurt me and being caught on tape with the girl I love was as good as me forking over the truth on a silver platter for them. Hurt me here, please. We both joked around the idea of us being forbidden because of who we belong to but nothing was more honest. Star crossed lovers doomed by our loyalties. “What do you want me to do, Vic? Get on my knees and beg you to make it better? Keep smiling because it’s easier for you guys? I fucked up but I can clean up after myself.”
Elena Monroe grew up in Florida scribbling down stories from a very young age. These stories were really just wavy lines filling the paper, but she knew each word, each emotion, each character's name, and there was no tricking her into forgetting what each line signified. Just like her unconventional way of writing as a toddler Elena is setting her own rules and just telling stories.
Much like her debut novel, The Best Years, life certainly imitated art. Transplanting from the South to the East Coast, Elena currently lives in Connecticut with husband, reformed bad boy.
