I DON’T WANT THIS SERIES TO END!!! I’m having a hard time writing this review Bc then it’s really over. I’m glad there’s going to be a third generation of Bishop’s but knowing the original head mom- grandma Bishop won’t be around is heartbreaking to me. ESP after reading the epilogue I was a sobbing mess.

Payton was hurt by his ex and his mom and he left his hometown seven years ago and he started working on the Bishop’s ranch. He was hooked the minute he met Kaitlin but when he learned her last name was Bishop he knew no matter how funny and beautiful she was they couldn’t be anything more than friends and seven years later she’s the best friend he’s ever had. Even though he’s madly in love unfortunately for him everybody can see it but her.

Out of all her sibling’s, cousin’s and friends Kaitlin is the last one to find love and have kid’s and is the one thing she wants more than anything else. While she’s at her brother’s wedding she’s drunk and she gets the liquid courage to ask her best friend Payton to get her pregnant and he’s speechless.

Payton has always wanted his own family and who better to start one with then with his best friend. He’s agrees with his own stipulations that they live together and raise the baby together as friends and Kaitlin agrees with her own rules when it comes down to the actual baby making process.

Once these two kiss they realize that it’s going to be harder to keep their real, true feelings in check. With the extended Bishop family questioning their true relationship, taking bets on what’s next they try hard to not let anyone know what’s truly going on.

OMG I read this book in one day Bc it was just that good!! This really is a friends to lovers story and I legit loved every page from the first to the last.

I did everything from LOL whenever the twins stealing Payton’s fertility peanuts to crying at grandma Bishop. This book has everything.

Eek finally!!! I been waiting for Presley’s story since Staci Hart released Bet The Farm. I fell in love with her and her daughter Priscilla and wanted more of them. 

Presley grew up spending the summer’s hanging out with her cousin’s in Lindenbach, Texas. It was there she met Sebastian. Every summer they became friends with benefits and when the summer ended so did they until the next year. It’s been four years and nine month’s since she’s seen him last. 

Presley’s moved back to Texas with her sick mom and daughter Bc they’ve fallen on hard times. Presley heard through her cousin’s that Sebastian is back for the summer. Seb has found out that his Presley’s moved back and he can’t wait to see her and gets his hands on her. He’s shocked to learn that he has a daughter. Instead of running away he jumps head first into being a dad. 

Seb and Presley decide they’ll spend the summer as they’ve always done before. ESP since Seb has had plans to go back to work for the Peace Corps. The more time he’s spending with Presley and Cilla the harder it’s getting to leave them. 

Nether Seb or Presley know what to do. Presley wants him to stay with her and Cilla but she doesn’t want to tell him Bc she wants him to decide it. Seb want’s Presley to tell him to stay. 

If that was the biggest thing these two had to worry about it would be easy. Sebastian’s soon-to-be ex-father-in-law who’s the Mayor of the town wants to bring in a big chain supermarket that’ll ruin their town. Most of Main Street will loose their business’s and the town will go under. Sebastian and Presley refuse to let that happen. 

Once I started this I couldn’t put it down. These two are perfect for each other and I almost pulled my hair out waiting for them to stop waiting for the other one to make the decision. 

I’m excited Presley’s cousins the Blum sister’s getting their own series. Bc, my goodness their reasoning for not getting married made me scratch my head LOL. 

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.

I’m bowing down to Kennedy Fox for the millionth time and I know it’s not gunna be the last!! I LOVED Tyler and Gemma’s story and knew I was gunna love Katie and Noah’s but man it was better then I thought it was gunna be. 

Noah’s been in love with Katie his entire life. Noah wanted to kiss her and tell her so many times but he chickened out every time. Next thing he knew his cousin Gabe moved to town and asked Katie out. 

Noah wanted to kick himself for not telling Katie his feeling’s before Gabe swooped in. But, Noah figured since Katie said yes to Gabe he figured she only liked him as a friend so Noah supported her decision and kept his true feeling’s towards her to himself. 

Next thing Noah realized Gabe and Katie were married right after high school. Now Gabe and Katie are pregnant with their first born. Gabe is anything but a doting soon-to-be father Bc he’s been cheating on Katie. One night Noah decides he’s going to go and confront Gabe and tell him to cut it out and go home to his pregnant wife. It turned into an argument when Gabe hit Noah. When Noah hit’s Gabe back he hits his head, falls on the floor and doesn’t get back up. 

Game ends up passing away from their fight. At Gabe’s funeral Noah is arrested and charged with murder. Noah ends up spending the next ten years in jail. While in jail Katie wrote Noah and tried visiting him but Noah refused to see her and never wrote her back. 

Noah had his reason’s for pushing Katie away. The minute he gets outta jail he want’s to go see Katie and apologize for pushing her away but he doesn’t get that far Bc he gets a door slammed in his face. Noah gets it and he’ll wait until he can get her to listen. 

But, before he can give her time there’s some people in their hometown aren’t happy Noah’s outta jail and back. Somebody’s coming after Noah and they’re going thru his father, Tyler and Gemma. The four of them decide Noah must go in hiding for a little while till thing’s cool down. Gemma call’s Katie and talk’s her into letting Noah stay in the house she bought and is renovating. Noah hope’s he can get Katie to talk to him and hopefully find out who’s after him. 

Katie has always loved Noah but never thought he saw her like that so she kept her mouth shut. When his cousin Gabe asked her out she said yes hoping Noah would object but he never did. 

Gabe wasn’t the same person as he was before they got married. She knew what he was doing but felt stuck. The last thing Katie ever expected was loosing both Gabe and Noah the same night and becoming a widow and single mom. 

Katie never blamed Noah for Gabe’s death. It was an accident and she hates that he got sent to jail for this long. But, she’s extremely mad he cut her off when he was sentenced. He never explained why it was just radio silence from him. 

Katie has worked hard to give her son Owen a good life. She’s just bought a new house and plan’s on doing the remodeling herself. There’s nothing she can’t learn from watching YouTube video’s. Katie has such an amazing support team. He two best friend’s Gemma and Everleigh, her parent’s and her in-laws have been very supportive of her and Owen. 

When Noah show’s up at her house Katie doesn’t want no part of him. Yes, she wanted to know why he cut her off contract but she’s not ready for it. No matter where he pops up at. 

When Gemma call’s her and tell’s her somebody is coming after Noah thru her, Tyler and their dad and they need to hide him, Katie is shocked. She knows ppl aren’t happy he’s out, her in-laws for one but didn’t think someone would try to hurt him. 

Katie eventually agrees to let him stay in her house. She’s not ready to listen to him but refuses to let him get hurt. Katie let’s Owen know Noah will be staying in their house and it’s a secret. He can’t tell anyone ESP his grandparents and he promises. 

Katie still sticks to her plan of working, taking care of Owen and get their house fixed. But, Noah’s at the house and they’re spending more time together. Own and him get along great. 

Noah finally gets Katie to agree to let him help her and they start making a good dent into Katie’s lists on her to-do lists. 

The more time they spend together the more they start talking. Noah finally explains his action’s. They also spill their guts on their true feeling’s for each other and they’re both shocked they didn’t know they were feeling the same things. 

While Katie is still hiding the fact from her in-laws that she’s back talking to Noah and that their relationship has moved forward. But, before she can figure out how to tell them she figure’s it who’s behind wanting to hurt Noah and she’s sensed it all along. Katie just hopes she gets to him before it’s too late. 

I devoured this in one Saturday!! I’m so mad that Noah was in jail. He never meant to hurt him let alone kill him. I feel he gave up Bc he felt bad for what happened to Katie so he just went with the punches. 

I’m excited for the next part Bc I’m dying to know exactly who is the voice Noah heard. I’m also wanting josh and Katie to FINALLY get their HEA. ESP after reading the blurb for it.

Whoah!!! After the way The Ash Moon ended I couldn’t wait to start this book.  You should not read this book without reading the first book already. 

We pick up right where we left off. This pact war has left the Avynwood pact down one and the Diaminsey pack with a bit of an advantage. 

Ari is left feeling miserable and she feels fully responsible for the death. Rion, Wake, Aries and the rest of the pack continue letting her know it wasn’t. Part of being a wolf is to protect your fellow pact members and always always protect the women and children. 

Ari and Rion still haven’t fully mated. But, everyday they’re together their bond becomes closer and closer. Rion is ready for it to be complete but will give Ari her space and go at the speed she’s ready to go at. 

Ari’s also got an intense connection to her vampire best friend Ford and Rion’s cousin Wake. Rion and Ari can read each other’s minds, have conversations and know what the other is feeling. Ari also has that same connection with Ford. I will say their conversations both out loud and telepathically is legit hilarious. 

Ford’s very open with Ari on his feelings for her. He’s not afraid to tell her he loves her. Ari loves Ford and she’s open with it to him. But, she lets him know she loves him as a friend and that her heart belongs to Rion. 

If those two beautiful, complicated, alpha men weren’t enough add Wake into the situation. He was first kicked outta Avynwood pack and now he’s been kicked out of the Diaminsey pack which leaves him completely alone. Luckily for him he’s got two people in his corner. Ford and Ari. 

Wake wants him family back. His pack back. If he can’t have them back he wants to die. Ari won’t let him kill himself or let anybody else kill him. She’s constantly going against Rion and everybody else. 

Ari is still the person everybody says will be the person behind the stop of this pack war. But, these jerk offs from the Diaminsey pack continue going to crazy lengths to get ahead of the Avynwood pack including going after humans and lying to other paranormal communities in order to get allies. 

Ari is new into the world of the paranormal and she’s young ok too of it.  But, Ari in my opinion is selfish and she’s doing whatever she wants with whoever and making decisions & getting advantages to get ahead in this war. Except she’s not taking Rion’s or Ford’s opinions or feelings into consideration. 

But, they’re all on the same page. Stick together, make allies and get rid of the Diaminsey pack once and for all. When I tell you the last sentence of the book made my jaw break from dropping so damn fast and hard that it’s an understatement lol. 

I can’t wait to read the last book The Crucial Shift. I’m glad there will be spin off books to this series. Bc, umm I need inside Ford and Wake mind. I just hope in the next book Ari stop thinking of herself. If it wasn’t for Rion, Ford and Wake I’d of liked this less. But, man they’re amazing and make this whole story.

What an amazing conclusion to an amazing story!! While this might not be the end for the men of Bastards and Dangerous. But, it’s the end of Mel, Noah and Sawyer’s story. 

This is the last part of Sawyer’s book. He’s been writing his POV down so one day Nate and Cadence will get his side of the story of their parents Noah and Belle and the story of him and Mel falling in love. 

Even though this and the previous book are kinda retelling Mel’s story but it’s in Sawyer’s POV and there’s so much stuff we’ve never heard of and getting Sawyer’s POV on things like when Mel went to Belle and Noah’s grave that night. 

And, getting Sawyer’s POV on his time with the guys is great. We get the story of when the guys took Nate on his first fishing trip. 

There’s so many feelings in this book. Sawyer puts everything into his story. He wants Nate to really understand how much Sawyer truly loves him and Mel. The hole he has since he lost Noah is unbearable. 

Sawyer loves Mel and yet he feels guilty that he’s still there with Mel and Nate and watching him grow when Noah isn’t. He’d switch places with Noah in a heartbeat if he could. 

The guys are still very much around Sawyer and Mel. Sawyer’s relationships with Jordan and Darren are great. Then you have him and Eli and OMG they had me smiling and lol bc Sawyer A- can’t believe how much he likes Eli and continues hanging out with him and B- he can see the evil glare on Noah’s face and it’s hysterical to me. 

But, Sawyer and Darren really got to me. These two understood each other without the other one even saying a word. They both lost Belle and Noah. They’re living together keeping their eyes on Mel and raising Nate and Cadence. When they watched Noah’s video it broke me. 

And, that epilogue was everything!! It had me no joke it left me a wreck and in the best way possible.

Needless to say this books amazing!!! Even though Sawyer, Nate and Mel’s story is ending they’re def not going anywhere bc the other guys from this rock band are getting ready to have their stories told. I can’t wait!!!

AL Jackson is amazing!!!! Every book of hers I read I fall for the characters more then the last. I always say it won’t happen and every time I’m wrong. And, I love love the way she writes these kids in her stories. I ended up reading their scenes a few times bc I end up lol bc they’re so cute, innocent and funny. 

Faith and Jace met and fell in love in high school. Jace, his brother and cousin moved into the poor side of town. His moms a junkie and doesn’t look out for them. Jace will always put his brother and cousin first. He’ll do whatever he needs to in order to keep them safe and he wants them to have a good life.  When he met Faith everything changed. Faith saw the good in him that he never saw in himself. Faith doesn’t care what her parents or the town has to say about Jace. She knows he’s an amazing guy. He’s her beast and when Jace sees Faith all he sees is beauty. But, when Jace breaks up with Faith out of nowhere she’s blindsided and devastated. 

The last ten years haven’t been easy for Faith. She never forgot or got over her first love Jace. When he left her outta nowhere she found comfort in his cousin. But, it was never the same. Jace didn’t walk away from Faith bc he wanted too. He left to save his family. But, he came back for her and saw her with his cousin. Jace made the decision to leave and make something of himself and his brother. Make himself the guy she saw.  

When Jace finds out what happened to his cousin he’s not shocked. Jace knew exactly the type of guy he was. But, when his best friend calls him and tells him somebody is targeting Faith Jace gets in his car and drives back to the town he said he’d never step foot in again. 

Jace’s only plan is to keep Faith and her daughter safe. But, it’s not that easy. Jace still wants Faith. Their chemistry is even more electric then it was ten years ago. Then, there’s Bailey.  Bailey quickly went and got herself deep under Jace’s skin. He fell in love with her too. Jace will do anything to keep them both safe as well as make both girls his once and for all. 

Faith went through hell and she still did her best to not let anything effect her daughter. I couldn’t imagine marrying somebody to find out everything was a lie and still survive and move on the way she did. 

Jace is the perfect man. He should be the spokesman for the slogan “blood is thicker then water”. Because, he gave up his life with Faith to keep his bro and cousin safe and then again when he thought she’d chosen a life she wanted. Even when Faith didn’t know anything about his life he still did things to make her proud. He did things to make sure she’d have everything she ever wanted and more. 

This is an amazing story.  I finished it a few days ago and I’m not gunna lie I still can’t come up with the right words to describe how amazing, beautiful, funny and intense this story.  This is your typical second chance romance. 

After reading this I’m super excited for a few side characters to get their HEA. I’m keeping my fingers crossed the three get them.
