OMG I’ve been wanting Eden and Trent’s since A. L. Jackson first announced it. I love her stories and characters and everyone blows me away more than before.
Trent has been running for awhile now. Six years to be exact. Him and his brother’s Jud and Logan ran away and been looking over their shoulders ever since. They do it for one reason. Their reason. Trent’s son Gage. Trent will takeout anyone who looks at his son the wrong way.
Trent owns and operates the club Absolution and he’s known for being grouchy and unfriendly. Not that he cares. One night he walks in to see the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen waiting on him for an interview.
Trent tried getting rid of her but Eden Murphy isn’t having it. Trent knows if she’s around him he’ll ruin her and he’s been on a mission to keep Gage safe. Trent agrees to hire her even though it’s doing something to him inside he can’t quite figure out.
Eden is a kindergarten and Sunday school teacher at the school her dad owns and preaches at. She’s only looking to get a job at Absolution Bc her estranged sister came to town and took all the money to cover the school, church and their dad’s house.
Eden’s husband passed away six years ago and since then she’s barely surviving. When she meets Trent Lawson he makes her feel sparks she’s never felt before. Not even from her first husband.
After a first terrible night of work Eden goes to her teaching job, where she can’t get Trent off her mind.
Needless to say they’re both speechless to see Eden is Gage’s kindergarten teacher and with Trent being for boss at the club they both know that they can’t cross their imaginary lines that they’ve created for themselves.
They share moment’s here and there but that’s it. When Eden goes to leave one night she sees somebody’s made an attack. Trent knows immediately the threat was towards him but they’ll use Eden Bc she’s his weak link.
Trent practically throws Eden over his shoulder and moves Eden in with him and Gage. And, instantly their walls are gone and they’re giving into what they both want.
Things don’t stay smooth for long. Trent’s fighting for safety for Gage, trying to keep Eden as pure and innocent as she is. His first and only instinct is to take Gage away somewhere. He hopes his brothers would come but he’d understand if they didn’t.
Eden refuses to give up on Trent, his brother’s and Gage and the family they’ve become. Eden’s world is rocked when she gets a letter explaining everything and that Trent’s being set up again. Eden doesn’t think twice she knows she’ll fight for them.
I’ve loved every lead male and female A.L. Jackson has written but Trent and Eden have pushed everyone back one Bc OMG these two were everything!!
I’m dying for Jud and Logan’s books next!!! These brothers are everything.
