✯Release Review✯ Reclaim by Aly Martinez

Reclaim, an all-new extremely raw and moving second chance romance from USA Today bestselling author Aly Martinez is available now!

Choices. Everyone makes them. From mundane to unimaginable, one choice can change the trajectory of your entire life.

My mother’s choice was to abandon us with our abusive father.
My brother’s choice was to go to prison for killing the boy who assaulted his soulmate.
Camden Cole’s choice was to fall in love with a shattered girl who had absolutely nothing to offer him but heartbreak.

It was one summer beneath the trees, but with Camden, I had a place where I belonged.
A friend who was always waiting for me.
A boy who I caught staring at me more often than not.

He was mine, but when the world closed in and secrets exploded all around us, it was my choice to let him go.

Choices. Everyone makes them.
But mine would ruin us all.

✯✯5 Camden Freaking Cole Filled Stars!!✯✯

Eek!! I’ve wanted Nora’s story ever since I read
Release. I was starting to think we’d never get it. But, Aly it was 100000% worth the wait. Yes, this is a stand-alone but I’d really read Release first.

Nora’s mom ran off and left her alone with her brother and their drunk, abusive father. They pick up jobs and save their money so they can have food in their stomachs and hope their dad doesn’t find the food and eat it himself.

Nora found a job for the summer. She will collect worms everyday and turn them in to her neighbor and she’s hoping & praying she can make enough to be able to save money for her and Ramsey.

The first day down at the creek she meets Camden Cole. The minute she sees his clothes, his penny loafers and bucket of worms Nora instantly doesn’t like him and she lets him know about it lol.

Camden let’s Nora know that he was hired to collect worms and  has come up with a plan to collect worms and enjoy his summer and he wants them to partner up.

At first Nora hate’s Camden Freaking Cole but they become best friends that summer. Everyday sneaking a ten dollar bill back-n-forth between them lol.

Neither one of them want the summer to end bc the Camden has to go home. Then they’ll both go back to being alone. The last night they were supposed to hang out before he left Nora spent all night waiting for him at the Creek and he never showed up.

Camden never wanted to leave Nora. When he got in trouble and had to leave early it killed him. He spent the whole school year doing anything he could to get on his dads good side in order for him to agree to let Camden go to his grandparents house for the summer.

Camden ran to the creek the minute he got back. Camden knew he got taller this past year but Nora didn’t look the same. She was even more beautiful them last summer and still just as angry and feisty.

Just as Camden started thawing Nora’s cold shoulder and they agreed to meet back up but it never happened. Nora stopped coming to the creek.

Camden thought Nora’s father did something but it was worse then Camden ever would’ve guessed. Both of their lives were changed that summer.

These two went a decade of coming in and out of each other’s lives when they needed each other. It never mattered how much time spent apart they picked up right where they left off.

They were madly in love with each other. But, time was never in their favor.

Nora wanted to be the perfect girl for Camden.  She keeps trying to be. Camden just wanted Nora for Nora. While she was working to improve herself, Camden will continue supporting her the best he can and go to school and make something of himself and help those who need it.

This book was everything I’d ever could’ve hoped for and more!!! Aly hit another grand slam in my opinion and I’m looking forward to her next release.

Release AMAZON
Growing up, Ramsey Stewart branded my soul in ways time could never heal.
At twelve, he asked me to be his girlfriend.
At thirteen, he gave me my first kiss.
By sixteen, we’d fallen in love, planned a future together, and had our eyes set on the horizon.
Love never fails, right?
But for Ramsey, it did.
Love failed him.
I failed him.
The entire world failed him.
At seventeen, Ramsey was convicted of killing the boy who assaulted me.
Move on,he wrote in his first and only letter from prison.
Start a new life, he urged.
I don’t love you anymore, he lied.
There was no such thing as giving up on Ramsey. Love may have been our curse, but he was mine—then, now, and forever.
So here I am, twelve long years later, waiting for a man I don't even know to emerge from between the chain link gates.

 ✯✯5 Second Chance Stars!!!✯✯

Aly Aly Aly Aly!!!!! I’m in love with Aly’s stories. I wish I could get inside of her head. Even for just a limited time lol.

The day Thea lost her mom was the worst day of her life. First her mom passed away, while sitting under her favorite tree she met Ramsey. Less then ten minutes later he fell on her and broke her ankle. Thea didn’t think things could worse. Until a few years later.

Thea couldn’t stand Ramsey when she first met him. She tried her hardest to get him to just go away. Until she realized she didn’t want him to go anywhere.

The day Ramsey’s mom walked out and left him and his younger sister was the worst day of his life. While sitting in a tree contemplating ending things he sees this girl running toward the same tree he’s in.

Instantly Ramsey feels a connection to her but not ten minutes later he falls and breaks her ankle. Ramsey wants to help Thea and protect her even though she tries pushing him away, until she doesn’t.

Ramsey and Thea went from strangers to friends to lovers and almost instantly to being pulled away and not by choice.

What was supposed to be the best night of their life was by far the worst. Ramsey’s thrown in jail for twelve years. The only contract Thea has had from Ramsey was a letter telling her to move on. No matter how many letters she sent she never got a reply.

Thea never gives up hope that when Ramsey gets out of prison they’ll be able to get their second chance. Except Ramsey is pissed and let’s Thea know it’s not gunna happen. Thea refuses to give up on Ramsey and on them and will fight for them.

Woah!! I read this in one sitting. Their story was heartbreaking, beautiful and had everything you’d want in a story.

Ramsey loved his sister and Thea more then anything. He’d do anything and everything to protect them. Including going to jail for the rest of his life.

Thea is in my top 5 favorite heroine’s of 2019!! She fought for everybody she cares about. Even when being blindsided she still cares about others more than herself.

Talk about a story that’ll rip at your heartstrings. That has twist and turns and bombs dropped that you’ll never see coming. This story has it all and then some. I legit am antsy waiting for Aly’s next release.

Excerpt
It was funny. I’d spent almost half my life surrounded by the biggest, baddest criminals the state of Georgia had been able to capture. Yet, I was terrified of a five-foot-five woman who for some asinine reason was still in love with me. I couldn’t be around her. Not if I wanted to keep my head straight and my eye on the prize. I had three years before I got off parole. I needed to get a job, tuck away some cash, and, the second I was allowed to leave Georgia, get the hell out of there. Maybe, if I was lucky, I’d be able to convince my sister to come with me. We didn’t have to go far. We could stay in the south if she wanted. South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee—there were schools everywhere. Nora wouldn’t have trouble finding a job. The hardest part would be convincing her to leave Thea. However, maybe if she did, Thea would finally move on with her life and stop obsessing about me. I’d known they lived together for a while. I didn’t want anything to do with Thea while I was locked up, but I was happy as hell Nora had someone to lean on. I had been under the impression that Nora had gotten her own place when she found out about my release. I had been under that impression because Nora had straight-up told me she was getting her own place after I’d declared there was no way I was living with Thea. Now, I was hiding in my room, waiting for Nora to wake up, open my door, and escort me to breakfast like a damn bodyguard so I could avoid confrontation. Next up in my efforts to kill time was a workout. Sit ups, push-ups, planks, running in place. This was when I realized Nora hadn’t bought me any deodorant. Another shower. Another naked lap around the bedroom, and this time, I managed to keep my hands off my cock. Finally, I got dressed. This required me to pick through a bunch of preppy shit Nora had bought for me to find tattered jeans and a fitted green tee that clung to my chest like a damn glove. In my closet, I found a belt and a pair of distressed brown lace-up boots that maybe could have doubled as combat boots if the war was taking place on a runway. But what the hell did I know about style? I’d been wearing orange or puke beige for almost half my life. When I was done with all of that and there was still no sign of Nora, I sat on the edge of the bed and decided to give the phone thing a try. I wasn’t totally out of the technology loop. We had computers at the library and we were allowed to use them if we earned the privileges. But they might as well have been dinosaurs compared to the phone she’d bought me. I couldn’t even get it to read my face with the fancy secret laser thing. I gave up trying pretty quickly. So there I was, bored out of my mind, starving, and poking at my newfound wrinkles in the bathroom mirror, when I heard a knock at my door. “Ramsey?” I froze, my eyes locked on the mirror, panic staring back at me. Thea. Jesus. I needed to find somewhere else to live. Leaning out of the bathroom, I stared at the door. If I was super quiet, maybe she’d think I was still asleep and go the hell away. When I didn’t reply, she knocked again. Her voice was timid and sweet, not at all like the fearless girl I’d grown up with. I hated it. “Ramsey? You hungry? I’m making breakfast? I was wondering if you wanted something?” Everything from my name to the fact that she was making breakfast was a question, as if maybe she was asking permission to cook in her own house. My stomach was currently feasting on my backbone. Still, I said nothing. She sighed. “Okay. Well, if you change your—” There were several seconds of silence. I quirked my eyebrow at the door, trying to figure out why she’d abruptly stopped talking, and then cursed my inability to develop x-ray vision. I held my breath, hoping to hear her footsteps as she walked away. No. Such. Fucking. Luck. The door swung open and she came walking inside with her hands stacked over her eyes. “Look, I know you’re awake. I heard you running earlier. I also heard you take at least three showers. Sorry, but the house isn’t that big. Neither is the hot water heater. Are you at least dressed so I can open my eyes?” Brave. Unapologetic. And completely oblivious to boundaries. Now that was the Thea I knew. “Get out,” I barked. “Dressed? Not dressed? Help me out here?” “Get. Out.” She kept her eyes closed. “You gotta eat, Ramsey. You can’t stay locked up in this room forever.” I wanted to tell her to get the hell out again. Honestly, it was on the tip of my tongue. But it never made it past my lips because my traitorous eyes stole a head-to-toe of her lithe body. She was barefoot, wearing jeans—tight ones that tapered at her ankle. They looked like mine in the sense that they had a rip in the knee. They didn’t look like mine in the sense that they hugged the curve of her hips and more than likely her ass too. A pink tank top stretched across her chest, and I swear on my life, fuck x-ray vision because I could see the pebble of her nipples beneath the fabric. It wasn’t a ridiculous dress. It wasn’t stupid fucking heels. She wasn’t wearing a face full of clown makeup. She was just Thea. The nostalgia pumped through my veins like acid even as my cock stirred. Fuck, I should have jerked off again in the shower. “I’m dressed,” I bit out, desperate for her to put her damn hands down and maybe use them to cover her tits instead. Her long, brown lashes fluttered as she opened her eyes. Those fucking eyes had once owned me. As a huge smile lit her face, I felt the claim all over again. “Oh, look, you chose one of the outfits I picked out for you.” Of course I had. Of fucking course. As soon as I got her out of my room, I was going to take the outfit off and light it on fire.

✯Release Review✯Unravel (Unbound Trilogy #1) by Kathy Coopmans

Title: Unravel
Series: The Unbound Trilogy
Author: Kathy Coopmans
Genre: Contemporary Romance

I’m Logan Mitchell, and I hold many secrets in my greedy hands.
Women?
They bow at my feet. Do what I ask and come back for more.
But Ellie Wynn, I don’t want her bowing, I want her to kneel.
She thought our time together was one night, a twist of fate.
How wrong she was.
Ellie has been mine since the day I saw her.
Little does she know, it wasn’t that night. It was years ago.
Well before I even understood she was mine.
One taste, one touch, one kiss, and it wasn’t enough.
Not for me.
I’m prepared to fight dirty, and I plan to succeed.
Lies, deceit, and betrayal.
Intrigued?
You should be.

✯✯5 Unraveling Stars!!!✯✯

Just when I thought Kathy Coopmans couldn’t outdo herself, she wrote Unravel, the first book in her Unbound Trilogy.

Ellie had the perfect family and life. When her parents passed away she’s left with her evil stepmom and even more evil stepsister and brother. The three of them did everything to make Ellie’s life a living hell. Her stepbrother also had an evil infatuation with her.

Ellie was lucky to have her former housekeeper turned mom and best friend turned sister in her life. They’ve been there for her when she was broken and at the bottom.

Now they have a clothes boutique that’s doing amazing. They have their own place. Ellie is happy but she’s always looking over her shoulder. She’s petrified her stepbrother will find her. One night Ellie lets loose and goes home with the most handsome, intense and intriguing man she’s ever met. Ellie doesn’t realize until after he falls asleep who he is. Ellie’s afraid her stepbrother is right around the corner so she gets her stuff and runs out of his place in middle of the night. Ellie can’t believe she didn’t recognize it was Logan Mitchell sooner.

Logan has always loved Ellie from afar. He knew her stepbrother was an evil man, knew what he wanted from Ellie. It’s why he’d insist on going with him whenever he went to Ellie’s. When he heard what happened to Ellie, Logan wanted to kill him. Still does.

Logan has always kept tabs on Ellie from afar. He’ll do anything to keep her safe. He knows he shouldn’t want her but when he saw her legs, heard her laugh that night at the bar he couldn’t stay away.

Logan’s made his money off women and sex. He never planned on being with one woman more than once, or for a lifetime. But, all it took was one night with Ellie for Logan to become a different man.  He wants Ellie for the rest of his life.

Except Logan has secrets.  His brothers keep warning him over and over to tell her before it’s too late and she finds out. Ellie wants to believe he’s the man he claims to be even though she senses there’s more he’s not telling her. Their chemistry is off the charts that he keeps holding off telling her everything. When the bomb drops both Ellie and Logan’s love nest unravels.

I really liked Ellie. My heart broke for her youth of loosing her parents and the way her stepfamily treated her. When the housekeeper and her daughter came in and made her a part of their family was amazing. She became a strong women considering everything that was done to her in the past.

As hot, intense, intimidating sexy as Logan is I’m not sure if I could get past his job and the things he’s done in the past. I definitely had been curious as to what this big secret was and lemme just say this... I finished this book around 3am and the last 3-4 paragraphs my heart kept beating faster and faster but the last two sentences my jaw dropped and my heart stopped while my mind blew up!!!

Kathy definitely started this trilogy with a bang. I’m also nervous bc this cliffhanger was a doozy and considering there’s two more books still, I can’t even imagine how bad the next cliffhanger will be lmao. I’m also hoping after this trilogy ends Logan’s Brothers are next. They definitely intrigued me. Great start Kathy!!!

“You’ve got a quick mouth on you, Ellie. I like it. It makes me wonder what else it can do.”
The intensity grows in his eyes while his words hit me between my thighs.
Throbbing.
The night he brought me here, he melted my panties. Tonight, no matter how much he tries charming me, they won’t be coming off.
“You’ll never know.”
“We both know I will.”
No, he will not.
“Speaking of having a quick mouth. Here’s something you can chew on and swallow. I won’t submit to anyone. If I want you, I’ll have you. If I don’t, I won’t. You, you’re a…”
Shit. I can’t even force the word, and I refuse to bend to his patronization. Him trying, pours more gasoline to the raging fire burning within.
“A male whore? Is that what you’re trying to say? I was one, Ellie. I haven’t been in almost a year.”
Possessiveness surges. Hard and heavy that it consumes my mind. I want to punch every woman he’s had before me. It’s a crazy notion when I don’t even know this man.
Logan takes hold of my hand that’s dangling at my side and drops a kiss across each of my knuckles, dancing eyes searching mine. His touch is soft, familiar, intimate, and my skin tingles where his lips graze.
“I sense there’s more your gorgeous mouth would like to say to me. Perhaps go to hell? Fuck off? Maybe what the hell is going on? Why was I at a dance club the night I brought you here and had the best sex of my life when I could have been at my club? Would you like to know what I’d like to say to you?”
No, I really wouldn’t. The man already has my mind traveling back in time. Right back to ten years ago.
“I’d like to tell you to get on your hands and knees, to spread those sweet thighs, pull my hair when I bury my tongue in between them. I’d like to know if our night together was as good for you as it was for me. I love to tell you to scream; only this time saying my name when I make you come.”
I roll my eyes and swallow, pressing my thighs together as memories of him asking me to do all but the last assault me in the spot his intention wanted to hit.
Logan Mitchell, I knew the name, but on him, I like it—Bossy, sexy, overly confident, dangerous.

✯Release Review✯Save Grace (Blood Legion MC #2) by Rie Warren

Title: Save Grace
Series: Blood Legion MC Book 2
Author: Rie Warren
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: June 10, 2019

SLADE
I was a Marine. An operative. A hardcore soldier. Something brought me to the Blood Legion MC in New Orleans, and now I’m a biker. Whatever drew me here is bigger than my own baggage, and it isn’t the CIA, or Force-Recon, or anyone else.
There’s a pull. Her name is Grace. She’s missing, possibly because of the MC and our haphazard raid on the White Lair. Grace is my new mission. An op. Nothing more.
Until I finally locate the gorgeous woman who has built an even bigger barricade around herself than I have, and I realize I’ll never be free of her.
GRACE
I don’t want to be found. Not by anyone. Not anymore. Not after what’s been done to me against my will. As if enslavement at the White Lair wasn’t enough.
It seems I don’t have a choice. I have a new client. He’s dark-browed, big all over, and broody beyond belief. This Killian Slade doesn’t force me. He doesn’t ask me to strip. He pays extra each time and he doesn’t even touch me. When he finds out the truth, he’ll hate me as much as I hate myself. Yet I can’t stop the hot hammering of my pulse where I’d only ever been hurt and used before—there’s a yearning to be with this singular man.
I want to wake up from this nightmare, but the nightmare is just beginning.

✯✯5 Slade Filled Stars!!!✯✯

FINALLY!!! I’ve been waiting for Killian Slade’s story since waaaay back since The Bad Boys Of Retribution MC and he’s been around since. When I finished Storm I’d been upset bc Slade was staying behind and joining The Blood Legion MC and becoming Angel’s VP. I’m glad Rie decided to write this MC bc I’ve waited a long time for his story.

Ever since The Blood Legion MC saved Mercy from her horrible family Slade has been on a task to fulfill a promise he made to Mercy and that’s to find her friend Grace and bring her home safe and sound. But, it’s been months and he can’t find anything.

That’s a hard pill for him to swallow. Slade was a Marine and also in the CIA and special forces for awhile. He’s lost people before, seen people die right before his eyes. Him and Bo were kidnapped and tortured almost to death. Slade refuses to loose Grace. He’ll do anything to find her.

When Slade gets a tip on where grace could be he tells no one. He’s not sure what he’s walking into and wants to know everything. Slade walks into the brothel Grace was sold into preparing for the worst and instead got something that confused him more. He’ll do anything to gain Grace’s trust and get her to safety. No matter who he has to call in as backup.

Grace is taking everyday as they come. Her life might not be as bad as it was at  The White Lair, but she’s still somebody’s prisoner. She must do what they say.

When Killian Slade walked into her room and didn’t want her to sleep with him but to talk Grace’s nerves spiked. When he mentions Mercy’s name Grace knows she must get him to leave. There’s too many other peoples lives at risk and Grace doesn’t think she’s worth the risk.

Even though she tells him to leave she’s glad he comes back. Even though he’s paying a hefty price just to talk to her. Grace is enjoying her time with Slade even though she knows when she tells him all her secrets he’ll leave and not return.

This story is nonstop from beginning to end. Both Grace and Slade have had terrible pasts and they don’t think they’re worthy of redemption or being loved. They do what they think is best for the other people in their lives even if they get hurt.

Both knows there’s a lot at risk. Grace has her reasons for continuing doing this day after day. Slade might get it but he doesn’t accept it and isn’t afraid to ask for help.

This definitely isn’t a topic that everybody can read. I don’t have any triggers. But, if you do be careful going into this story. Rie wrote grace and Slade’s story right.

Slade has been around for soooo long and you really don’t know much of his story except for what you learn when reading Bo’s story. Slade has always kinda been the man, the myth and the legend. Now you know his story and yet he’s still the man, the myth and definitely the legend.

Can’t wait for the rest of these Blood Legion MC hotties to get their HEA.
Grace started to lift off my lap. “I shouldn’t have come here. I shouldn’t keep laying all this on you.”
“Whoa there.” Clasping her hand, I tugged her back down.
I framed her face with my palms. “You’re not to feel guilty. And you sure as hell don’t need to worry about me.”
“I don’t want you to think I’m using you.”
“Aw hell. Use me all you want.”
A different gleam misted across her hazel-flecked irises, and I realized whether I’d intended it or not the words had sounded like a sexual invitation.
Within seconds, the atmosphere shifted.
The chemistry changed.
The always-attraction soared to the forefront.
And I wanted to deny how much I wanted her. Now wasn’t the time for this sort of thing.
For fuck’s sake, Grace had come to me for solace.
Not sex.
But she stared at her fingers as they moved from my shoulders to my waist, and my heart clobbered in my chest. My pulse echoed right down to my groin.
She dragged the hem of my shirt up over my abs then reached beneath to swirl fingertips along flexing muscle and through rasping hair.
I grew distinctly hard against her ass, groaning when she wiggled in just the right way so my prominent bulge sandwiched in the cleft of her bottom.
“Shit.” Head craning back, I clamped my hands on the arms of the chair instead of around her hips.
“You said I could use you.” Grace drew her tongue up the straining cords of my throat then bit softly all along my jaw.
“Yeah.” I grunted . . . oh, fuck. “I did, but—”
“Sshh. You talk too much.” By the sound of her voice I knew she wore a teasing smile, because we both knew the truth about me and words.
As her lips trailed to the corner of my mouth, I damn near quaked in my skin.
“But, Grace—”
“This is what I need right now. I need you, Killian. Unless . . .”
You don’t want me?
Her unsaid words hung suspended in the air, and I raised my head to look at her.
“There is no unless. C’mere.”
Our mouths clashed with a soaring urgency, no tender hello about this rampant greed.
Within minutes of tortured kissing and roving hands, the fire already burned too hot.
Christ almighty. We hadn’t fucked since Thanksgiving.
One day with her was never gonna be enough.
I had us up on our feet and half my clothes thrown off before attacking her lips again. Goddamn, but she tasted sweet.
And she sure as hell was no shrinking violet.
A possessive gurgle issued from her throat when she ripped through the tabs on my jeans.
I shoved them and everything else off then tore at her clothing with just as much frustrated impatience.
My hard, hard cock lurched upright, brushing the underside of her belly, and heat goddamn spiked inside me like a fever.
With her bare, and in my rooms, and daylight spearing across the walls and over the floor in sunbursts, I tore my mouth from hers.
I dragged my ravaging hands from her body.
I stepped back, melting into a moment I wanted to hold onto forever.
Standing nude and luscious, Grace became dappled in sunlight falling all over her ripe body.
She reached out for me, but I stepped back again.
“Wait. Don’t move. Please,” I asked in an unfamiliar guttural timbre.
She started to shield her breasts, but I halted her.
“Don’t cover yourself. Don’t hide from me.”
Fearless then—how could she not be when desire stamped all over my body and aimed my rigid cock like a staff to the air—she shook out the glorious black waves of her hair so the thick tresses tumbled down her back and over her shoulders.
Staging closer, I barely coasted the calloused pads of my fingers across her satiny skin. Down her temples so her eyes shuttered briefly closed. Across her plump lips so she breathed in on a gasp.
I only made contact with my hands, murmuring non-words of praise that came from deep within my gut.
Along her neck, where her pulse fluttered just beneath the most silken skin.
Her head became lax, and her neck arched into my touch.
“What are you doing, Killian?” she whispered.
“Honoring you.”
Her breath hitched. Her lashes flickered.
Her moan caught in her throat.
Honoring Grace.
Because being with her, touching her . . . the fact she shared herself with me was an honor I didn’t deserve.
Hell, I was nothing but a used-up leatherneck, a gruff-voiced biker dude.
