I’m a
cutter.
I cut
because I find solace in it.
I cut
because it helps calm my frantic mind.
I cut
because the voices inside my head tell me to.
I cut
because this is the only way I know how to handle life.
Margaret has an amazing way with words. She writes stories that are real. Stories that can be either about something you or somebody close to you have either gone thru or are going thru. She doesn’t sugarcoat it and writes it properly not making light of the subject.

This review will be on the shorter side bc I refuse to give away much.
Ivy’s in high school. Her best friend is Jared and they’re there for each other for anything. Jared’s gay and Ivy’s always been there for him. They don’t keep secrets from each other. Or so Jared thought. Ivy’s been keeping a huge secret from everybody.
Ivy’s a cutter. She’s been cutting herself for awhile now. Ivy has perfected cutting in spots that unless you’re looking for them you’d overlook them. Some are deeper then others. Ivy doesn’t want to cut. No. But, she has a voice telling her too. He’s too strong for her to dismiss.
Ivy wants to tell Jared. But, she’s afraid of how he’s going to respond. When Tobias walks into their school everything changes for ivy. Tobias looks at her different then everyone else. It’s like he can see thru her and directly into her soul.
Tobias knows Ivy’s keeping secrets. He keeps trying to get her to open up to him. Ivy wants too. But, it’s completely obvious that Ivy’s not the only one keeping secrets. Tobias promises to tell Ivy everything just not right away. Their secrets are different. But, they’re both drowning in them slowly.
This is a must read. My heart hurt for Ivy and once I learned Tobias secret my heart broke for him as well. These two got strength from each other. There’s so many people dealing with these issues and others in the world. Most people suffer alone bc they’re afraid to let people in and sometimes it ends tragically.
Margaret reminds you of all that in this incredible story. I continue to hope and pray that Margaret doesn’t stop writing and that she continues writing the stories that she does.

Author Bio
NEW YORK TIMES BEST SELLER OF UGLY AND MISTRUST
**Write something worth reading**
I'm Margaret and I'm a self-published author.
Recently I was fortunate in obtaining New York Times best selling status on my YA/NA book - Ugly, and my YA book - Mistrust.
My last three books have been YA and I'm completely in love with the genre. I love being able to communicate with people through my words and stories.
My writing genres all differ, but the one thing I keep consistent is my heroines. All my female lead characters are strong, gutsy and not the 'perfect' woman. While my books all have romantic elements in them, they aren't just about the romance. They're about finding strength, acceptance and making life long connections.
I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I have while writing them.
