✯Release Review✯The Two of Us (Love in Isolation #1) by Kennedy Fox

What do you do when the entire nation is on lockdown
If you’re an heiress to a billion-dollar fashion company, then you quarantine in a glamorous cabin and finish your final semester of NYU online. The best way to focus on her upcoming valedictorian honor is away from her family, classmates, and the paparazzi. Cameron St. James is ready to get out of the big city and head Upstate for seclusion, despite her parents’ pleas to stay home.

What do you do when a pandemic is sweeping the world?
If you’re barely making ends meet, then you isolate yourself in your best friend’s mountain cabin with breathtaking views and no neighbors for miles. It’s the perfect safe place away from three roommates who don’t take the life-threatening epidemic seriously. Elijah Ross is ready to work remotely and focus on his next big promotion, assuming he’ll still have a job after this.

What happens when things don’t go as planned, and you’re stuck with the one person you dislike the most?
You improvise and do whatever it takes to avoid each other, though it proves to be impossible. The cold evenings alone turn into movie and popcorn nights together by the fireplace. Days turn into weeks, and eventually, more than just a friendship blossoms. As the unknown haunts them, they lean on one another for comfort—until someone pops their safety bubble and threatens everything.

The Two of Us is an enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend standalone romance set in the current affairs of history in the making. Though the character’s storyline is fiction, the circumstances are very real, and we’re sensitive to this topic. This is a story about hope, love, and so much more with a guaranteed happily ever after!

OMG Kennedy Fox has done it again!! But, this isn’t like all their previous books. It’s based on the COVID virus that’s hit the world we live in today.

Cameron St. James comes from a wealthy family. Her family is in the fashion business.  Cameron is weeks away from graduating college at the top of her class. Instead of  quarantining at home with her parents she decided to go stay at their family cabin and she could use the time alone to get her work done.

Elijah Ross works in real estate but due to the covid virus that’s hit he will work from home. But, his roommates aren’t taking quarantining serious. He reaches out to his best friend Ryan, who’s comes from a wealthy family. He became a Dr instead of going into the family business. Ryan let Eli quarantine in his families cabin.

Neither one was expecting the other one to be at the cabin. These two have known each other since they met when they were young due to Eli’s mom working for Cameron’s parents. But, since their teenage years they’ve become frenemies.

These two go back and forth constantly and if they’re not doing that they’re either getting along or ignoring each other. What they’re not doing is admitting the crush they’ve had on each other since forever.

Until Eli makes a quick smooth move that made both of their world tilt and they couldn’t get back to standing straight up. As they start to explore this new thing between them one of them start feeling crappy.

Cameron and Eli just hope they both get over the covid and that they’ll leave together as we/us and not me. But, nothing will come easy.

Cameron might’ve seemed stuck up and snotty at the beginning but the longer she was at the cabin the more she changed or realized the way she was brought up thinking wasn’t the best.

Eli is as amazing as all the other men Kennedy Fox has given us. I loved how he gave it to Cameron. Yet he’d cook for her bc he knew she couldn’t boil water lol. He’s just amazing.

I honestly couldn’t put this down!! Kennedy Fox wrote Eli and Cameron’s feelings and their thoughts exactly what everybody in the world is thinking. I’m looking forward to Ryan’s story!!
