Kissing the Cowboy

Circle B Ranch, #5

Kissing the Cowboy is now available on all retailers!

After drinking a bottle of wine, Harper tells her business rival that she recently got engaged. Once the hangover wears off, Harper realizes she now needs a fake fiancé or to admit she lied. Wanting to avoid the backlash, she asks her childhood best friend for a favor.

Ethan Bishop will do anything for Harper, even if it’s crazy and means risking his heart. Pretending to be engaged to the woman he’s always loved proves to be difficult—especially when repressed feelings bubble to the surface.

It’s hard to know what’s real or fake when their private moments turn intimate. When they cross the line and fall between the sheets, the truth is undeniable.

Just as they feared, their friendship’s no longer the same. However, one thing’s certain—there’s no going back now.

**Kissing the Cowboy is a complete stand-alone and can be read without reading any of the other books or spin-off series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

✯✯4.5 Ethan Filled Stars!!!✯✯

Ever since I finished reading
Bossing the Cowboy I knew I needed to get my greedy hands on Harper and Ethan’s book. I knew I was going to devour it but it was better than I expected.

Ethan is Elizabeth’s brother and we knew from her book that he had feeling’s for Harper and I couldn’t wait for the secret to be let out of the bag.

Harper’s a small business owner. She makes her own lotions, soaps, candles and all that stuff and gets her milk from the goat farm that Ethan started and operates on his families farm.

Harper’s definitely made a name for herself in the business. There’s a small business owner’s group that gets together and they give advice, talk and help each other. But, don’t get fooled not everyone’s friendly and there for good. There’s one girl there that’s def not Harper’s friend or acquaintance. No, she hates Harper and isn’t afraid to let Harper know it.

Harper’s getting ready to go to another weekend conference and was already stressed about getting all caught up on her orders. But, they asked her to speak this time and she’s nervous. When her frenemie gets engaged and rubs it in Harper’s face and makes a comment doesn’t like Harper losses it.

After drinking too much alcohol Harper tell’s them she’s engaged and the first person to come to her mind is Ethan Bishop. They’ve been best friend’s their entire lives and know everything about each other.

Harper’s never told him of her feeling’s Bc if he doesn’t feel the same she’s afraid she’ll lose her best friend and she doesn’t wanna lose him. Instead she keeps her feelings to herself. She’s hoping he’ll agree to go with her this weekend as her fiancé and prays she gets through the weekend and doesn’t lose her best friend from her lies.

The time’s never been right for Ethan to tell Harper how he really feels about her. Instead he continues with them as best friend’s Bc he’d hate it if her feeling’s didn’t match his Bc he’d never wanna lose her.

When Harper tell’s him about her telling the group they were engaged he doesn’t blink or think twice about agreeing to go with her as her fiancé. They legit know everything about each other so he’s honestly not worried about somebody not believing they’re together.

Being able to walk around and hold Harper’s hand and hug and kiss her is better than Ethan could’ve dreamed about. One night they go out alone and start dancing and drinking and one thing leads to another and the finally give into what they truly desire.

The next day Ethan wakes up ready to tell Harper his true feeling’s and make this thing a real thing. Instead Harper’s freaking out and instead of letting the truth out she want’s to be friend’s type of thing.

When they go back home thing’s are definitely strained between them. If that wasn’t bad enough Grandma Bishop finds out thanks to her frenemie. When Ethan put’s his heart out there and Harper’s uncertain it could be the end of their friendship all together.

OMG I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it. Ethan’s as amazing, dreamy, hard working and hot as his dad and uncle’s that have come before him. Don’t know how she friend zoned him for so long honestly.

Harper’s the perfect match for Ethan. She’s just as hard working, hot and amazing as the ladies that have come before her.

My absolute biggest, biggest complaint about this book was with Harper’s frenemie. She was a big part of the storyline and was really a nasty person. It was obvious she was stealing Harper’s ideas and trying to take away her business. It even seemed like she was falling her relationship as well.

The entire time I was reading this I was waiting for Harper to finally stand up for herself and take her out and make her get what was coming for her. But, nope. Nothing happened. It was like forgotten about and it 1000% disappointed me. Other than that I loved this book.

I’m looking forward to Grayson and Kenzie’s book Bc OMG I was LOL to the set up of their book. I’m also looking forward to Knox and Kane’s love triangle.
